Just thought I'd post this to find some buddies in the TTC journey as a clueless gal trying for baby #1 ! 🫶🏽
Ovulated today, so I guess the 2WW starts ! ⏰
Anyone else starting their 2WW ? ☺️

@Lila34830 yeah tbh I wouldn’t recommend 😂 ahh sounds like a plan!! I’m feeling a self care evening and relaxing as I feel really tired today!

@HopefulSS 6DPO according to Premom, 5DPO according to natural cycles! So not too far behind you. Also not feeling a thing.. I’m tired but I also got 6 hours sleep last night so 🤣 feel like that explains that!!

TTC for the first time and I'm very new to all this!
This is my first cycle and I had a few teething issues with trying to work out when I was ovulating... so I'm not hopeful this month! But I'd love to join you all if you'll have me xx

Ah so we are so similar in timescales!! Will you test early? I won't test I don't think until Saturday if I can hold out!!

Did you track ovulation at all ? First cycles always are an adjustment but doesn't mean you don't stand a chance !

@KT199 the self care sounds right up my street ! I definitely need to do more of this !!

I don’t think so!! I have my friends baby’s first birthday party on Sunday and I think if I’ve tested and it’s negative I will be really down as I’ll be literally surrounded! So hoping to hold out until Monday. I tested early last cycle and all it brought me was misery 😂.

@KT199 i feel you, must be hard, we were never prepared for such confusing feelings, being happy for a sibling/friends and at the same time feeling empty/ sad for yourself. I've had quite few of those this year, ironically after my MC ealier this year, every close friend of mine (except the one not married[ annouced they were expecting, even my sister in law, this one was hard on my DH, to hear that his younger brother who had already a DC is expecting again.

I learnt to drag myself out of this kind of surrounding when feeling overwhelmed, not an easy task when it's a sibling, especially if they live closeby. I hope you get you BFP so you can embark on this journey with you sis.

@KT199 yeah I hate a negative test more than I hate AF. I may not even bother. I just need to distract myself from now until next Tuesday 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

That’s the same with my sister, she already has a little one! This is her second! Such conflicting emotions but, we are so close and I am so happy for her! 🥰 even if initially my emotions felt contradictory of each other.

I know, I think I feel the same. I think I’d be lying to myself if I said I wasn’t gonna test before AF is due on Tuesday though 🤣 which is why I’ve said Monday!

Yes, do everything you can to distract yourself! It’s defo best to be busy and not constantly dwelling.

@KT199 he just managed a nice rainy dog walk and now I will head off to Pilates. I think once I've done that, made dinner and sat on the sofa I should be able to chill and then I am another day closer to knowing 😂

Madness!! I feel like I am constantly wishing my life away.

We were hoping for a BFP before Xmas, I have this cycle and 3 cycles left after to achieve this so I hope I am being realistic 🤦🏽‍♀️

That will be 6 months of trying. How long have you been trying for? X

I've been using LH tests for the past week or so and I didn't think they were working because they were always consistently faint and looked the same... so we went by my Flo app and we were trying when the app said I was ovulating. Turns out the tests do work and I got a whopping red line on the test yesterday but of course hubby was all out of, ahem, steam by that point so we might have missed the boat this month but you never know!

Ahhh lovely!! ☺️ I’m just gearing up for a self care evening and autumnal tea of pie and mash! Going to binge watch something on Netflix and get cosy with the pups.

I know, I’m exactly the same! Literally already wished this week away.

This is my second cycle, we haven’t been trying long at all. I would like a positive before Xmas too 🙂. I think 6 months is realistic for sure!! I secretly wanted a positive last month on cycle one 🤣.

Already putting doubt on this cycle, as starting to get bloating which happened at the exact same time last cycle when I was obviously negative, but need to get out of my own head. I literally almost cried over it and then started sulking 😩🤣, got to love hormones and emotions.

@pastelpink0 if you DTD the day before it should cover it ! The best days are 2 days before ovulation and day before ! 🤞🏼

Fingers crossed then!! 🤞🏻 This is only our first month of properly trying... we'll just have to wait and see x

We are both very early into the journey so I guess we need to chill out a bit more lol but it's sooo hard!

Pie and mash sounds lovely! I'm also snuggling on the sofa with the doggos too.

I wouldn't worry about bloat, I'm also bloated and that's abnormal for me this early but it could be anything. Food, drink, hormones literally anything!

I know, I have to keep reminding myself these things take time! I think I always thought it would happen straight away as it’s happened to a few of my friends and a few have fallen pregnant without even trying too 😂. CLEARLY they are all very fertile anomalies 😂.

Ahh I know, I feel so relaxed this evening. Ended up putting Harry Potter on🤣.

Yeah, you’re defo right and I do always have it around this point in my cycle too. Just a moment of metal weakness I think!!

Yeah, I know!! Bring on the weekend 🤣🤞 although thankfully I have a very busy few days in work coming up so hoping to be distracted it least till the end of the work week Friday!

@KT199 TTC does typically take time, but I can't take my own advice and just let it go and accept that lol. I still sit here on cycle 3 making myself feel like there's something wrong with me as like you say, all my friends seem to have conceived just by looking at their partners!!

That's good you have a busy week at work. I have a busy day tomorrow and Thursday too. Weekend will also be busy! Roll on next Monday when I will know if AF will arrive. I normally get a tiny bit of spotting just before so I should know.

Our time will come patience is key 🔐 x

Morning guys ! Another day another DPO 😅
Hope everybody is ok, I am 4 or 5 dpo today, yesterday I had a lot of cramping in the evening and really really sensitive boobs but I will put that down to the hormone fluctuation as I don't think I'd have symptoms before implantation !
Anyone had weird symptoms ?

@Lila34830 morning! Yes another day down!! Ohh sounds hopeful! No symptoms really from me, not holding out much hope this month to be honest! Have you got much planned today to keep busy? Xx
