Just thought I'd post this to find some buddies in the TTC journey as a clueless gal trying for baby #1 ! 🫶🏽
Ovulated today, so I guess the 2WW starts ! ⏰
Anyone else starting their 2WW ? ☺️

Hahaha I know let's get busy. My lutheal phase is rather long as well so AF is due around 13/14!

I really want to hold off as last month i tested early and was disappointing each day I got a BFN - will you test early? Xx

I did the same and it was almost like I knew I was out and kept on testing it felt like psychological torture so I will really hold off until dpo12 I think if I can but it is hard !

I feel like time has almost stood still!!! 🤣 4DPO and I feel like months have passed since I was LH testing.

Hoping to hold out testing until 12DPO, started (regrettably) at 8DPO last cycle and think it got me down!! But the other part of me thinks, I would rather just know so who knows if I’ll manage it 😂

Omg I know LH testing feels like ages ago! Well I'm torn between knowing but risking it being a chemical, or knowing at 12/14 dpo so we know it's a "real" one! (But then there's the wait for the 12 weeks scan this never ends 😂)

30yo TTC first child, I have Endometriosis and a very unregular cycle. Started using Clear Blue Ovulation digital test this month (never got a peak on the cheapo strips, been off pill for 2 years in November!)

Got my first flashing smiley on Wednesday followed by a static smiley very early Saturday morning , currently 3DPO according to premom, yet ovulating today according to Flo?!

The night before my static smiley, I had a twisting/pulling pain on my right side, which continued into the morning with a dragging feeling all day. Could this have been ovulation? Not many other symptoms yesterday/today.

I know, don’t know which is best! I’m just very impatient😂, which is not ideal at all. I’m only on cycle 2 of TTC and already want a positive, which obviously the rule of thumb normally is upto 12 months, providing there’s no problems, so I think I need to calm down a little and realise how new I am to this journey 😂

The apps don’t necessarily all match up. Flo is typically going off of just cycle history/insights (unless you add LH tests) and can be quite unreliable. Pre-mom is good for predicting the fertile window and uploading LH tests too to get a reading. Neither of these apps take into consideration BBT which is what can be used to confirm ovulation and help you understand when you did ovulate and how long the different phases of your cycle last.

Could have been ovulation pain you was experiencing yes, but I’m no expert 😊

I would say trust the strips more than the app ! My Flo was predicting ovulation a week before, I then adjusted saying I got a positive opk on Friday and it then changed its predictions ! Looks like you and I are almost exactly at the same stage !

me too!! such a long time to wait. trying to get busy but can't help to think and check calender everyday! haha

I've been ill all day so I feel like I've not had the mental capacity to think about it too much, good job cause there's 10 more days to wait 😂😂😂

Im trying to remain positive!! I have no symptoms but only 5DPO, which is still too early for any symptoms to be suggesting implantation. What I would like, is for there to be a test to confirm each stage 🤣 because if the sperm never met the egg, then we would know we was out from day one and could move on to thinking about the next cycle 😂 but that’s just the impatience in me!

How are you, have you recovered from your bug?

Exactly!! It just makes sense that, that should be a thing. How has science advanced so much but no one thought of a quicker way to put women out of their misery in the TWW 🤣

My luteal phase is normally 12/13 days so, I am aiming for 12 DPO which would be a week today 🙈 not sure if I have it in me though, really hoping I do wait it out, as I tested SO early, and daily last cycle and found I’d counted myself out and was in a negative mindset from 8 DPO!
