Anyone about to go into an ovulation week?

Hey!

TTC our 2nd been putting it off for a while but this month I’m going to be actively trying and testing LH etc
reading other posts feels as though everyone is already in there TWW this Aug 😂 so looking for company, anyone whose still waiting for their ovulation week.

I only used BBT when falling pregnant with my first but haven’t being doing it as regularly as I did back then.
Ive been trying to take my temp the past couple of weeks and natural cycles predicting ovulation on Weds!
what’s everyone plan of attack? 😂 I’m going to use LH strips from tomorrow onwards and as soon as I get my peak start DTD! Very sceptical it’ll happen this month with it being the first official month of trying but we shall see!
Hoping for some company if anyone is at a similar stage in their cycle?

You ladies are a bit ahead of me, I’ve been so busy this month so far I’ve forgot about when I’m due to ovulate! But I’m due Monday so I’m going to start the LH tests tomorrow the hopefully get a few DTD session in over the weekend! We only managed once last month so going to try more this month! (Very difficult with a toddler and work life is crazy busy at the moment! 🙈)

@LuckyDuck93 how you feeling this month? You were similar times as me?

I wonder if you missed the peak over night? Some time it can be quick?
but then I have had tests that look darker than lighter then had peak! Let us know what it’s like tomorrow 🤞🏻

@Mama09876 I think I’m just a teeny bit behind you this month, due Wednesday.
Everything is a bit quieter at home this month so hoping we can try and time things a bit better/not be too tired 😂

im not going to to another test until tomorrow morning now.

I feel like I'm the only one not tracking on strips etc is it essential?🫣 I'm just being so relaxed about it all dh works away a lot and I'm only going to be trying when i see him so hoping they will all swim about and find the egg 🤣 also he has a heavy cold he told me he's not feeling 100% hope he's better when he gets home 🙈x

@Itonlytakesone i think you’re probably going the best way about it with being relaxed!
I’m only doing ovulation strips because I was using them with Natural cycles when I used it for contraception, I’m just in the habit now 😂

@LucyLou0527 it’s happened to me before! I missed the peak cause I was only doing them once a day but last month when they were getting darker I tried to do it twice/three times and that’s the only way I managed to catch the peak on the strips. I found I was always darker at night as well!

@Itonlytakesone defo not essential! I think @LuckyDuck93 is right, you’re probably doing the right thing, less stress! I’m the same in that it’s purely habit now and just for me to add in natural cycles so it helps the algorithm. We’re also not an every day DTD couple so I just try and time it a bit round the peak on my tests 😂 although this month I am a lot more relaxed with temping and LH. Havent got the time for it! 😂

Oh ok great. Iv just bought some pregnancy test cheap kits on Amazon so I can test after though I'm getting nervous. I had the blighted ovum last time I tried 🙈

Our tests look the same, I will test again this evening. But have a good idea when my body is heading to ovulation. When are you expected to ovulate?

I usually get peak on CD14 pm tests!

this is my first letrozole cycle so I’m serial testing incase it comes slightly early haha

@LucyLou0527 I took one this evening and it's a lot darker now. I also cracked out my clear blue and received my flashing smiley, finally which indicates that I am officially in my most fertile window. 😁

@LucyLou0527 @Renee33 out of interest do you ladies test morning and/or evening?
Ive been doing mostly morning until I get a rise, but I drink so much water during the day I always think my urine will be more diluted?

Hey I do morning and then try not to drink much from maybe 5:30-8 because that’s when I’m so busy after work and then I do another test

Am I covered?

I have had sex pretty much every day this week including last night (peak) and this morning.

I find I tend to always get my peak at night for some reason? But when I’m getting close I do try to take it morning/night even lunch sometimes to try catch it. I’ll be doing it twice a day from tomorrow (if I remember! 🙈)

Mine have been pretty much the same the last couple of days, expecting peak over the weekend and ovulation due Monday!

@LucyLou0527 you are more than covered 😜. Weldone! All to do now is relax during your TWW. I think I might be one of the few people who finds that time really exciting 😊 and not stressful at all!

last month I just covered it the day before ovulation which was the day I got my peak so thinking this month trying to get a few in and hope it helps! Need a few more million sperm there waiting! 😂

I don’t mind the TWW as much, don’t find it stressful just a bit impatient! But this month is very busy so hoping it means it’ll go quick. I’m very relaxed about it all this month, other priorities going on! Maybe it’s a good thing.
