Anyone about to go into an ovulation week?

Hey!

TTC our 2nd been putting it off for a while but this month I’m going to be actively trying and testing LH etc
reading other posts feels as though everyone is already in there TWW this Aug 😂 so looking for company, anyone whose still waiting for their ovulation week.

I only used BBT when falling pregnant with my first but haven’t being doing it as regularly as I did back then.
Ive been trying to take my temp the past couple of weeks and natural cycles predicting ovulation on Weds!
what’s everyone plan of attack? 😂 I’m going to use LH strips from tomorrow onwards and as soon as I get my peak start DTD! Very sceptical it’ll happen this month with it being the first official month of trying but we shall see!
Hoping for some company if anyone is at a similar stage in their cycle?

I'm still taking all my conception vitamins ready for this month's nervous about ttc but excited too. I'm sorry not everyone on here got pregnant last month but I'm still here for company this time ( I avoided last month iv got a bit busy at work)

@Itonlytakesone sounds like you’re doing the right things in preparation! Is this your first TTC?
In the grand scheme of things it was a blessing in disguise that I didn’t get pregnant last month, turns out very stressful period in work! But we’ll try again this month, I’m still on my period so what feels like a long time till fertile window for us.

When you due to ovulate?

I will ovulate the weekend 10th onwards so bit of time yet. No iv a 5 yr old dd. I'm not tracking or anything and I'm 41 so being relaxed that I'll even be successful tbh. Really wanting to see if I can though now I'm finally ready.

Yes @Mama09876 I know what you mean you get a breather for a couple weeks probably for the best - work commitments sometimes better performed when you're heads a little bit more screwed on

Me too! CD11 expect ovulation on CD 14 or 15 however could be earlier this month as line is getting darker. Pretty new to tracking so still figuring it out. Was trying to make some healthy eating changes too and looking into whether to take any other vitamins other than folic acid.

@Margo2023 I'm same then as your dates. We've both been taking the pregnacare conception him and her (dh was thrilled 🤣) I have b12 injections too - well started that a couple months ago having 3rd one tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous my last attempt ended up as a blighted ovum took 9 weeks to sort that out. I still drink wine/Prosecco a bit but I wasn't sure how strict to be with everything but I eat well

I am sorry to here that @Itonlytakesone onwards on your journey. It is nice to have some company on this thread. I think I will start pregnacare. I don't normally get any ovulation symptoms however maybe it is because I am more aware but the evening before ovulation last month (first time smiley face on clear blue) I had tender boobs.

I’m on my first round of letrozole this cycle and judging by my LH tests, I’m just a day or two from ovulation!

Of course how exciting I'm a bit behind you it'll be towards the weekend for me. I'm really busy at that time working so I just hope iv got time to dtd🙈

aw bless you, I feel like I’ve tired my husband out too much before ovulation this month😂 I’m gonna leave him be until peak lol!

Joining as I am week away from my fertile window. On cycle day 8 of my 1st Cycle trying for baby #3. Wishing everyone the best! :)

Just posting this am test, first high mark of this cycle 0.94 on day 14. Not sure whether to do a clear blue digital ovulation test now or wait until Premom app confirms LH peak?

I’m on day 7 so around the same time as you!
Ovulation not predicted until day 16/17 but I think I’m going to start testing around day 10 just to be safe!

Not yet, just been tracking through my phone. We do have sex most days though 😂. I think I'm due to ovulate Tuesday / Wednesday. Good luck to you

Hi @LuckyDuck93 perfect :) My fertile window should start on cycle day 14 and the app has predicted that I will ovulate on or around cycle day 18. I use the Flo app which is pretty correct but I will also use the clear blue OPKs. But pretty chill about all this seeing as it's my first cycle trying for baby #3.

@LucyLou0527 just did clear blue and not confirmed ovulation. Peak test was 12 noon today and I think ovulation occurs 10-12 hours after? So hard trying to time this accurately! You are a few days behind me in ovulation? I'm enjoying having others to chat to about it all!

I think you should deffo get confirmation tomorrow afternoon/evening at the latest!

Yeah my test was pretty dark today and I’ve been having shooting/crampy pains from both sides yesterday and today so I think my positive is coming soon!

I feel like I might have ovulated from both sides if that’s even possible? I don’t know if letrozole increases the chances lol

Thought I was close to a positive yesterday but my test is lighter today 🙁

@LucyLou0527 yes that looks almost there. I got smiley clear blue this am so same as last cycle day after peak on day 15
