Anyone about to go into an ovulation week?

Hey!

TTC our 2nd been putting it off for a while but this month I’m going to be actively trying and testing LH etc
reading other posts feels as though everyone is already in there TWW this Aug 😂 so looking for company, anyone whose still waiting for their ovulation week.

I only used BBT when falling pregnant with my first but haven’t being doing it as regularly as I did back then.
Ive been trying to take my temp the past couple of weeks and natural cycles predicting ovulation on Weds!
what’s everyone plan of attack? 😂 I’m going to use LH strips from tomorrow onwards and as soon as I get my peak start DTD! Very sceptical it’ll happen this month with it being the first official month of trying but we shall see!
Hoping for some company if anyone is at a similar stage in their cycle?

I mean.... It's so hard to interpret, but I think if temp stays up for a few days (which is has) then that means I ovulated!?
I had flashy smileys from the 10th, then the static was 15th.

@Dullblue1234 yeah so I’ve read it’s normally a dip or same temp then a rise for 3 days confirms ovulation, so yours is looking good!

im just happy I got a darker one today as well so I’m hoping I’m not to late! 🤞🏻 just got to muster the energy now 🤣

with it being our 1st month back TTC I’m looking forward to the TWW! 😬 I’m sure I’ll feel different the closer I get to Af!

@Mama09876 weirdly I also sort of enjoy the tww. Probably because it gives you hope especially if you know your timings worked. Just thay glimmer of hope that this month could be the month 😅

I deffo can't wait the full 2 weeks to test though. I'm a poas addict so will be testing at 9dpo. Last month I caved at 7dpo but aiming to try and give it a couple more days this time at least 😂

100% agree! 😂 I enjoy it but it’s probably the hope! It’s crap when your af arrives but then on to the next! I’m feeling really optimistic this month (if I manage to DTD tonight!) as like you said timing will all be correct but even so the odds on it happening I get are low! But we’ll see.

I have tested early in the past but it’s not for me 😂 I can’t deal with the is it or isn’t it positive. I’ll just wait till af due and if missed and hopefully get a certain line or not.
Please let us know when you start though! Cause I enjoy seeing everyone else’s! 😂

I also had dip this morning & peak ovulation test so also predicted as tomorrow!

We’ve DTD! And I took another LH test and that was really low so ovulation should happen tomorrow or Weds. Hoping I’ve caught it 🤞🏻 we shall see. TWW should start this week!

@Dullblue1234 im exactly the same! Never think I’ve timed it right. I started to get some ovulating groin pains in work this morning and I started to think well that’s it I’ve missed it I’m ovulating now 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ I did read up about it and apparently the ovulation pains isn’t the egg being released (like I thought it was 😂) it can be to do with a number of different things and could just be hormone related so I’m just the same as you! Praying I haven’t left it to late! Hoping I’ve timed it perfectly 😂🤞🏻

I've been having sore nips - which is unusual as usually I have no sensitivity in them after BF for a year. My bbt has also dipped today 🤔 which has left me frantically goggling what that means 🤔🙈
Got a lot of lower back pain, which I usually get the day before my period, so of course now I'm just getting in my head about symptom spotting. Anyone else in the madness stage!? Think I'm maybe 4/5dpo, so quite frankly this is ridiculous 😂

So my temp rose this morning so expecting a few more days of temp rising and then for natural cycles to confirm ovulation. I’m getting a few pains today so expecting it to be as predicted today or tomorrow.

when I was trying for my first I was on the ball with taking my BBT (more so because I also used to use it as a contraceptive as well!) but just looked back to my temps when I was in the TWW and pregnant and I had a slight dip on 6 dpo, so maybe/hopefully it’s implantation for you? If it goes up again tomorrow and carries on going up or staying up that’s a good sign!! That’s another reason I knew I was pregnant, my temp just never came down!

I think I should be officially in TWW tomorrow and then the madness begins 😂😬

My temp hasn’t risen today but peak was yesterday and I’ve been having really low down cramps/ groin pains on one side, so think I’ll probably have temp rise tomorrow. What a minefield 😂

@LuckyDuck93 how was your temp this morning? I had another rise so I think one more morning of rise and natural cycles will confirm ovulation! I just want it to confirm it so I no how many DPO i am 😂 I think I ovulated yesterday so 1 DPO. Already impatiently waiting 🤣🤣
My af is due 2nd Sept but my plan is to take a test on the 1st cause it’s the weekend.

Yeah it rose this morning actually, I think we’re probably on the same timeline as mine is also due 2nd. My plan is to just wait and see if it arrives I think (she says in an effort to be relaxed) 😂

This is good news! What app you using? Mine waits for the 3 days of temp rises before it confirms the ovulation but I’m pretty certain it was yesterday.

they’ll be lots of testing that weekend then! Very exciting!
Last time I was pregnant I waited till Af and was a strong line, I can’t deal with trying to see if there is a line there or not. (I’ve done it in the past tested early and it just messes with me head! 🙈😂)
I thought the day before af is a Sunday I’ll test cause I’ll wanna tell my mum! 😂 and I don’t want to go to work after (if it’s negative or positive).

I’ve got Premom, also still using natural cycles as that’s what I used for contraception, both say the same so that’s helpful!
Yeah that’s what I thought, I’ve got a busy week that week as I’m bridesmaid for my friend so don’t want the “am I/aren’t I” confusion after seeing faint lines!

Natural cycles finally confirmed my ovulation as Tuesday 20th so officially 3 DPO! 😂
I don’t know whether to stop temping now or carry on. Last time I was pregnant with my 1st before I took a test I carried on temping and my temp carried on increasing so I kinda had hope that I might have been pregnant!

I’ve still been temping, purely because it’s so drilled into me from when I used NC for contraception!

My temp still stayed high which is a positive, doesn’t normally dip yet any way but hoping I see it stay high this week.
Feeling fine though only 5 DPO so aware nothing will of happened yet 😂 only thing I’m noticing is some slight weird pains in my groin which are on/off. Again hope it’s a good sign!

One more week and I plan to test! Just hope it goes quick. If I seen I dip in my bbt I probably won’t even bother wasting a test.

I'm OK... Had some light spotting yesterday/today - so either an early period or IB! I'm not due on til thurs/Fri- today is CD25 and I'm usually a 29/30 kinda gal.

Took a test today and it was negative... So it's a waiting game I guess! Flo says I'm 8DPO, Premom says 10DPO.
My BBT is also all over the place 😂😂

Spotting is hopefully implanting? AF still a while away for you.

that’s annoying about bbt 😂 that’s the one thing at the moment that’s helpful 😂 last time I had a little dip around 6/7 dpo so hoping to see that in the next couple of days!

Hope you’re all ok! I’ve had a busy weekend which has been nice as it’s taken my mind off everything!
My temp has been the highest it’s been in months of testing, trying not to read too much into that though as I know it’s SO early! X

@Mama09876 ahh I do hope so! I've never had a cycle this short, so if it is my period it's very bad luck 😂
My bbt has risen the last couple of days, so will see what happens tomorrow.
When do you plan to test?

@Dullblue1234 another temp that’s risen as well! I’m hoping this is a lucky group girls! I keep comparing my temps to my last pregnant 🙈 I know I shouldn’t! But still high so that’s good at the moment.
My period is due on Monday 02/09 but plan to test on Sunday. Week today! I’ll be 12 dpo by then. My cycles have changed to around 26/27 days since my last pregnancy but last month was 31 days 🤷🏼‍♀️ so don’t even know if it would show anything on a test next week but we’ll try and hope!
