Anyone about to go into an ovulation week?

Hey!

TTC our 2nd been putting it off for a while but this month I’m going to be actively trying and testing LH etc
reading other posts feels as though everyone is already in there TWW this Aug 😂 so looking for company, anyone whose still waiting for their ovulation week.

I only used BBT when falling pregnant with my first but haven’t being doing it as regularly as I did back then.
Ive been trying to take my temp the past couple of weeks and natural cycles predicting ovulation on Weds!
what’s everyone plan of attack? 😂 I’m going to use LH strips from tomorrow onwards and as soon as I get my peak start DTD! Very sceptical it’ll happen this month with it being the first official month of trying but we shall see!
Hoping for some company if anyone is at a similar stage in their cycle?

@Mama09876 yes it was for us too, hense why there's going to be a near on 5 year gap 🙈
I had achy pains inside - almost lightning crotch sensations, but dull, not fiery! If that makes sense 😂

Exactly the type of pains I’m having! I thought it’s like when I was heavily pregnant and you get that lightening crotch but not as painful! My boobs are hurting today as well.
im now tempted to test on Saturday rather than Sunday 😂 I just want to know if it’s a positive/negative! But I’ve got plans on Saturday so i need to just find some will power and test on Sunday as planned! 😂

@Mama09876 glad its not just me, i've gone from "i'm gonna wait until my period is late" to "when is too early to test" 😂

😂 I know all the comments all over the forum about how af symptoms are just the same as pregnancy but honestly I never really get any af symptoms, apart from tiredness from the drip in oestrogen and I get very moody just before it arrives! But this month my boobs feel so tingly! And I’m struggling today with tiredness and motivation. I just feel a bit off/different. I know I’ll look stupid saying all this if my test is negative! 🙈

I just don’t want to see a faint line I need to be like a yes or no 😂 I mean Saturday I’ll be 11 dpo? Maybe I will test then 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I found the 'one step' strip tests really faint - I think if you're gonna go for it, use a CB early or first response... So much easier to read!

I think the symptom thing is what's got in my head, like I literally have nothing apart from being a bit hormonal, but then you read other threads of people having no symptoms until a positive test. Really does mess with your head doesn't it!
I know what you mean about having the definite line though, i'm so busy this next week that I don't want the whole "can I see anything" debate, so determined to wait until Monday I think (hope)

@LuckyDuck93 with my first I hardly no symptoms! Few aches and pains and I was really tired but apart from that (and my BBT high) I had nothing! Could easily just of been AF symptoms.
Even after my positive test I wasn’t sick or had no boob pain just felt very tired.

You watch I’ll have a negative test now I’ve said I’ve got more ‘symptoms’ this month 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve got a first response ordered from Amazon due to arrive tonight! I’m going to try hold out till Sunday, but may cave tomorrow 😂

@LuckyDuck93 that is a good plan! I caved this morning 🙈 stark white on a first response! I’m 10dpo today so I’d imagine it would have shown something!

Now I defo feel silly with all my ‘symptom’ spotting 😂 I’ll wait and test again on Sunday but I don’t think this is my month.

@LuckyDuck93 yeah possibly! I’ll take another on Sunday just to see but I’ve got to just stay positive and just think if it’s not our month then that’s ok, on to the next 🥰
trying to not get to down about it but also get that I’m not completely out just yet.

I should have just waited! 😂 but it was defo stark white so I’m kinda ok at the moment, there’s no ‘is that a line?!’ There was no line! So least I know for now. I mean one positive is that my temp is still high, let’s see if it starts to dip over the weekend.

@Mama09876 I think that's the best way to be!
My temp is still high but i've also defintely got a cold now, so I wonder if its just that, who knows! Although, normally i'd have a bit of spotting 2/3 days before my period and that hasn't happened yet, so I think that'll be a big sign over the next few days.

@Dullblue1234 How you feeling? You all ok? I remember the first trimester those early days were tiring!

My temp has gone up again girls! Woke up early this morning but I haven’t tested, I’m now to scared to 😂 I’m only 11 DPO and I looked back on when I tested with my first and I got a really strong one on 13 DPO so I’m going to hold out till at least tomorrow! Do I dare believe again?

I'm okay... definitely a bit tired (might also be because I've cut down on coffee!) And finding it hard to eat 🙈 I'm getting full so quickly

Big temp dip for me this morning and a negative test so wasn’t meant to be this month. On to the next!

@Mama09876 I’m trying to take the positives though, I actually think this is just the spotting that I normally get pre-period…which usually starts around 10dpo, I’ve been taking hormone balance supplements for the last couple of months and I’ve got to 12 dpo before it starts, which is much better!

@LuckyDuck93 I love the positive attitude! Looking at the benefits this cycle, and great news that the hormone balance tablets are working! I defo think positive mentality helps!

I’m the same, it was only our first month back trying so the likely hood of it happening was slim anyway! I’m going to make sure I’m more active this month and just see what happens! We only managed it once in my fertile window as well so will be trying more times next month and see what happens! 🥰

Look at my bloody test from this morning, evaporation line it’s so annoying seeing a line there but knowing it’s defo not a positive. Torture!! 😂

My period definitely arrived this morning so at least I’m not second guessing everything, oh well, only a couple of weeks until I’m ovulation testing like a mad woman again 😂

So frustrating isn’t it! 😂 I’ve chucked them now and on to the next.
Still no period here but my temp is low again this morning so it’ll be arriving in the next couple of days I imagine! So on to the next. Only two more week to wait! 😂
