Glad you have a female GP Mollie My male GP was useless after both my M/C's and he was very good at shrugging his shoulders!

MollieMooma · 10/04/2008 14:15

Emmsy No don't feel like that I really appreciated the advice and support they gave and will definately be putting my temps on here again when i decide to retry. I just wanted to stop doing them for a bit but thought I should explain. Please don't worry you'll make me paranoid that I've upset you!!! I'm not going anyway I LOVE your thread x x x x
Sparkly Have you had chicken pox? I'd check with a healthcare professional (or google) to see if it's OK to ttc whilst there is a risk, you never know x

Emmsy1 · 10/04/2008 14:15

mibbes where are you today? how's little miblet? hope your not neglecting us for your ante-natal thread!

Emmsy1 · 10/04/2008 14:17

No, you haven't upset me Mol please don't go all paranoid on me, that's what happened to me before I was put on my AD's!

Emmsy1 · 10/04/2008 14:18

Ei any news today missus??

Emmsy1 · 10/04/2008 14:20

will have to go now ladies have to squeeze a little ironing in before I pick up clan from schoolX

SparklyMummy · 10/04/2008 14:45

mollie You didn't OV and they didn't take any further blood tests to check if you did the next month? My GP explained to me that this is what they would do and then send me for a scan to see what was going on. I would def go back to the GP.
No I haven't had chickenpox

OP posts:
MollieMooma · 10/04/2008 14:56

Sparkly At the time I was really irregular it was about 6 mths after I came off the pill I had 6mths of being all over the shop! So she couldn't be sure they took blood at the right time, so when i became more regular I started doing OPK's then got pg last Dec so stopped. Now I'm back on the merry-go-round I might start shouting louder for some attention from my GP

SparklyMummy · 10/04/2008 14:58

Mollie Now your cycles are more regular it would be easy for them to test your hormone levels at the right time. It's great that you are ovulating and that your cycles have settled down.

OP posts:
MollieMooma · 10/04/2008 15:10

Sparkly Thanks if I can not cry when I go to GP I will push for more tests!

mibbes · 10/04/2008 15:51

Mollie so sorry she got you and that you are so down. At least you have made appt now so you'll feel like you are making positive steps. If the blood test showed no ov why on earth was it not followed up ? If you are not ovulating every month it is no wonder this is taking so long... don't leave that surgery until they have investigated fully. Stick around, we're here to listen xx
Bucky where are you with your first temp ?
Ei news ? Good luck at GP tomorrow.
Sparkly defo best to check before ttc this cycle as the virus chickenpox can cause has serious side effects for beany. If you do decide to stop this cycle just bl00dy well make sure you get it to make it worth the sacrifice !
Emmsy of course I'm not neglecting you lovely ladies for the AN thread - this is always my first stop ! Well miblet is ok, had a bit of pink CM this afternoon but took a deep breath and told myself not to worry. It is really difficult having half a thought hanging there all the time that it is not going to stick properly... but as long as I have no major pain or serious bleeding then I have to assume all is well... I just wish the danger weeks would whizz past..[scared yet logcial emoticon]

tinkerbellbringingsexyback · 10/04/2008 16:40

afternoon ladies

sm sorry about chickenpox
d sorry 4 bfn lets hope that you get an answer soon!!
mm good luck 4 drs

fruitl0ops2muchchoc · 10/04/2008 18:11

Afternoon all

Now I'm not gonna go crazy with excitement just yet but I think I may be about to ovulate (a BIG maybe). (TMI) Lots of CM but it's not EW. It's white opaque but very stretchy. Plus I had a small amount of ferning on my saliva microscope thingiemadgig this morning then did it again just now and have a good amount (not full) of ferning! Also been getting twinges in my ovary area (both sides, but mainly left), cervix seems to be doing the right things too. I did an Ov stick but only got a faint line so that's a negative, my temp isn't very high either. This could be PCOS having a bit of fun with me which is why I'm not going to get over excited but a little BDing cant do any harm can it!

On FF, there isn't an option for white opaque CM so I've just put EW. Do you think that's allowed?

fruitl0ops2muchchoc · 10/04/2008 18:32

Bloody hell, I've just thought, if all these ov symptoms are real then I could ov tomorrow or next day! I might actually get a 'normal' cycle! no way! It's too good to be true. Can you imagine, I might actually ov on CD14! STOP IT FRUITY STOP IT!!!

fruitl0ops2muchchoc · 10/04/2008 18:32

Somebody please slap me!

tinkerbellbringingsexyback · 10/04/2008 18:38

good luck fruity

mibbes · 10/04/2008 19:02

I really hope so Fruity maybe the progesterone has kick started the ov hormones, get BD'ing. I always class cloudy stretchy stuff as EW, as long as it stretches it is EW IMO xx

SparklyMummy · 10/04/2008 19:03

Hahaha fruity.
I normally get a faint + on OPKs the day before I get a strong +.....i'm not going to slap you because it sounds very good. How fab would that be!!!

fruitl0ops2muchchoc · 10/04/2008 19:15

yes Sparkly it is Ha ha ha! (as in completely unbelievable ) I'm off to the gym in a min when DP walks through the door but I should be back in about an hour

Emmsy1 · 10/04/2008 20:00

mibbes I agree, I really dont think that a tiny bit of pinkish cm is any thing to worry about, glad all is ok, lets hope it stays that way I see our kate popped into see you on your AN thread, how sweet of her, that lady has a heart of gold, she always has time for others, even when she is going through such a terrible time herself, she sure is one remarkable woman! I am definately going to start my fitness regime at the end of next week, just want to get my b/day out of the way first, I do intend to start really slowly, probably start swimming again before the slow jog on the treadmill!? will make my mind up next weekX

fruity really do hope you 'O' in the next few days, that will be a miracle in its self after your terrible lenghty cycles, get that b/d in asap, fingers crossed for you, also agree with mibbes if CM is really stretchy then it is still EW it does not have to be the same colour as eggwhites, just the same consistencyX

fruitl0ops2muchchoc · 10/04/2008 20:34

but girls if CM is opaque, those poor little tadpoles wont find their way! lol

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 10/04/2008 22:36

omg omg OMG!!!!
Was called back to the docs today. Was travelling south at the time and was about 70miles away (an hour and a half?).
About turn with the car cos was told that my hCG levels had Doubled!!
Scary news!

Went to the hospital again, with my full bladder for a scan.
The lady doing it said she wanted the consultant to have a look too and pos do an internal for a better look.
So I am lying there on the bed thing, dying for a wee, whilst the doc comes in, From Home!! Just five minutes they kept saying, he is walking in. OMG, Run man! I am going to explode!

So, in he comes wee scan over the tum and he sends me out to empty my bladder so that he can do the internal. He may have good news he says, Yeah like it is easily fixed and I won't need chemo, fab

In the thing goes and up on the screen comes.......................................................wait for it, it's good..............................................................................................A Heartbeat!!!!!!!!
Not only that but a baby!! I could see it's spine, its head and it's stubby little arms. And that heartbeat!? Wow!

OMG I am pregnant! 7+3weeks

WTF! I had a D&C!?
HTF did the little blighter survive?
But there it is, healthy and normal looking!

I am in shock and have no clue how I feel and what to feel.
Cross for the c@ck up, the anxiety, fear.
Elation, I am pregnant!
Fear again, I may still get very sick. Hyperemisis could still happen again.

omg omg OMG!!!

Emmsy1 · 11/04/2008 06:34

TF trying to get my head around whats going on, but its a little hard for brain function at this time. You had an Erpc and it didn't work! The hospital nearly killed your baby but it managed to survive. I wonder how many times this has happened and the baby's were murdered because of the hosptial's blunder, I am so happy for you but really annoyed that this is happening, its really worrying to think women take ages to TTC and then the hospital try to terminate healthy pregnancies, and probably get away with it because the baby's don't survive. CONGRATULATIONS that your bean is a little fighter and that s/he mananged to get throught this terrible ordeal and lots of love to you for having to go through this X

Ei a faint line that dissapeared?? good luck at docs to day! X

fruity don't worry about tadpoles not being able to see, your golden egg will be glowing and lighting up the way!
