Fruity that is quite a jump - maybe you are having a strange Sparkly-cycle too ! Is bleeding defo like normal AF ? It could be implantation if a bit less than normal... we'll see what happens over the next few days
Sparkly hope that is your temp settling. I wonder how common it is for temps to vary between cycles ? Maybe that can happen ?...

SparklyPiliPala · 16/05/2008 13:07

Mibbes YEY!! I told you so!! So happy for you hun. Congratulations. My EDD with DD was out by a few days after dating scan. I wouldn't worry too much. Mibblet will come when he/she is ready. . Can't wait to see pics. xxxxx

FruitynNutty · 16/05/2008 13:11

Awwwwwwwww mibbes that's FAB news! I'm over the moon for you hun!

now now sparkly

mibbes I dont really know what 'normal' AF is like as it's different whenever I have one, and let's face it it's damned rare! It's sort of medium flow, with the odd AF twinge, not too painful but definitely AF pain, cant possibly be implantation! But I love the enthusiasm anyway! I feel a lot better today, I think having the raging AF hormones flying round my body didn't help with my mood

mibbes · 16/05/2008 13:15

Fruity I had loads of AF cramps at the time of imp bleed and also for weeks afterwards - still get the occassional mild cramp even now ! Sorry not trying to get hopes up just telling you my experience

cricri · 16/05/2008 13:23

Mibbes I'm so pleased for you! It's fantastic isn't it when you see the baby on the screen for the first time! Especially when it's moving around and you can't feel a thing! I hope the retching this morning was just nerves rather than ms making a belated appearance...
Sparkly I'm really not impressed with the weather here either! Back to jumpers and central heating, hey ho!

mibbes · 16/05/2008 13:31

The retching was definitely nerves ! I thought I was going to 'lose' all the pre-scan water I'd gulped down and I wouldn't be able to see miblet ! The sonographer was laughing at me for filling my bladder up so much ! Mind you I wasn't laughing when she was pressing hard on my bladder with her scan-thingy !

cricri · 16/05/2008 14:00

It hurts doesn't it?! I always find scans quite uncomfortable! Still, it's worth it...

MollieMooma · 16/05/2008 14:59

Mibbes HURRAY See we all knew everything would be fine! So pleased you finally feel it's all "real" can't wait to see the pics x
Sparkly Sorry about your Auntie and BFN Glad you had a nice lunch though, jacket potato and beans for me Like the sound of your yummy gym guy, maybe he could feel your knee every week, sounds like good motivation to go to me
Fruity What is going on I wonder Let's hope it turns out to be something worth waiting for!

I just took out the bleeding to see what my chart would look like.

like this

FruitynNutty · 17/05/2008 08:07

Morning

My temp has dropped again now. Ignore my last post as I've put AF back now

I found this paragraph in my "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" book which might be of interest especially to Sparkly

"It is fairly common for women to experience several days of high temperatures during their period. This is usually the result of residual progesterone from the last cycle or fluctuating hormones that occur during menstruation. The high temperatures will probably be above the coverline"

Cricri I had my heating on last night and even wore PJs to bed. I hope summer isn't over before it even started.
Mollie LOL! I was quite good yday until dinner time when I had a gorgeous mushroom burger and chips -oops! I am managing to maintain my weight with exercise though but I wouldn't mind dropping a few more lb. Welcome back BTW .
Fruity Thanks for that. Can I class 11 days as several . I might feel normal then.

Well my temp is still low and I'm hoping it will stay that way so I can spot ovulation. Taking DD swimming this morning and then she's off to my parents for the night so hopefully the BDathon will begin. Happy weekend all.xx

ooh sparkly did you have that gorgeous mushroom burger at tht place you took us to? That was yummy!

SparklyPiliPala · 17/05/2008 11:53

fruity I did! Not the most healthy option though. I went on the slide at the pool and bumped my elbow. It's purple.

scully · 17/05/2008 14:59

Definitely haven't been dieting this evening, had 2/3rds of a bottle of champagne, yummy . Was at dd1's school trivia night and our table won, somehow
Great news on your scan Mibbes, it's so uncomfortable when you have a full bladder, but so worth it for the good piccies you see of miblet.
Hi to everyone

fym · 17/05/2008 15:13

Hi fruitloop - are you still around? How is it going? I'm on my 2ww now and due to test anyday...

Emmsy1 · 17/05/2008 16:12

Afternoon girls!
Hi fym haven't heard from you in ages, see your on the dreaded 2ww, fingers crossed you have good news!
Hello scully champagne, how lovely, alcohol is something I really do miss, but a sacrifice that's well worth doing for a 'mere' 9 months! The weather was lovely here last week, today is the first time that it's rained in the 'Wirral' Think the sun is coming back tomorrowhope so, it really does lift your spirits! just wish I could raise a few spirits!
mibbes really pleased that miblet is doing well, sorry I waasn't around to wish you well before your scanxx
fruity sorry about your appt at hospital, please ring them and tell them how upset you are. I have had my letter to confirm that my scan will be on the same day as originally planned (its even the same time!) I'm sure they would have put it at a much later date if I hadn't have rang to tell them I was upset and worried xx
sparkly what's going on with you then? you seem to be hurting yourself all the time. I bet you have more bruises than your LO
What's the problem with your man? hope he's treating you well!
cricri scan's don't hurt hun, they just rub a bit of gell on your tum and move a device that looks like a large rubber pen over your tum that picks up the picture of your beanie (if there's any problem, like they can't detect a heartbeat they would offer you a vaginal scan, they are a little uncomfortable but they do not hurt either)
mollie last but not least! congrats on temp promotion, the next time you raise your glass have a drink or three for me! xx

FruitynNutty · 17/05/2008 16:42

Fym I'm here with a new name good luck with the testing!

emmsy I've tried to call them but had to leave a message, I said to call me back asap but I'm still waiting! I'm in shock that they've delayed it so much, that's almost 3 months longer! In fact when I opened the letter, I thought they might have got me a cancellation appointment and moved it forward.

We're having a BBQ tomorrow, please wish us good weather!!!!!

MollieMooma · 17/05/2008 16:55

Fruity Snap, we're supposed to be having a bbq tomorrow too, but it's a bit chilly and very overcast with us at the moment, so I'll do a sun dance for the two of us tonight (especially when I've finished the 2 bottles of Chardonnay I bought today!)
Scully Champagne how decadent!
FYM Hi don't think we've met
Emmsy Lovely to hear from you, will have a bottle or two for you tonight hun x
Sparkly How clumsy are you getting? I get like that when I'm due on, in fact I'm sporting a nice injury still from last Sunday, dh and I were messing around and I punched his shoulder missed with my fist and hit it with my wrist, huge lump appeared, loads of bruising and now I've started gettng pains in it since yesterday, not sure what I've done (even hurts to type, but can't not come on here!) [girn]

FruitynNutty · 17/05/2008 17:11

well, it's supposed to be lovely tomorrow my end of the world. I looked on bbc website. I'm hoping they're correct for once!

I've just discovered the marvels of Skype!
It's wicked! We just spoke to and saw DP's parents and little sis in new york - For free!!!!

MollieMooma · 17/05/2008 17:18

Fruity Wow how cool was that for you?!? Where's your end of the world is it near me?

Emmsy1 · 17/05/2008 17:25

fruity wishing you and mollie warm weather for your bbq's tomorrow. fruity you need to ring them back on monday morning, don't take no s**t, if they tell you that they can't help you then tell them that you are going to write an official complaint to your MP and the Coordinator of the hospital department in question, they really must not get away with treating people in this way.>

cricri sorry about my previous post, thought you hadn't had a scan yet, but you must of as your 15+ weeks now? hope they didn't hurt you?x

FruitynNutty · 17/05/2008 17:28

sw london

FruitynNutty · 17/05/2008 17:29

emmsy thanks, I will I better make a note of that and leave it by the phone in case they ring me first! - unlikely though

MollieMooma · 17/05/2008 17:33

Fruity Not near me then! Good advice from Emmsy re your appointment, give em shit girl!
