Hello everybody - I've not had chance to get on MN in the past three days and it's taking me ages to catch up with all the news!
First of all, congratulations to Jollybear Wonderful news. The first couple of weeks after my BFP were very strange for me too as I really didn't feel very pg at all. However, the nausea soon kicked in so enjoy it whilst you can. I'm jealous of the big
(.)(.)though - mine are small at the best of times and don't seem to have grown much yet!
I had my NT scan at the Fetal Medicine Centre in London today and it was great. I was really nervous even though I had a successful scan at 7 weeks. But all is well, baby was jumping around like anything and risk levels for all three trisomies are very low so that was a relief. Strong hb and good blood flow to the placenta too. DH and I were in there for about 30 minutes so we got a good look at the baby - apparently there's a 70% chance it's a girl We'll wait for confirmation at a later scan though before decorating the nursery though EDD is now 1 November - eek! There's a picture on my profile if anybody wants to have a look.
Fingers crossed for some eggs and BFPs for all on this thread very soon

Sparkly good job doing an hour at the gym ! I am walking loads as low impact exercise advised my MW after bleed.
Well I found out last night that my parents aren't coming next week afterall so have cancelled week 9 scan and we have decided to hold off telling parents until 12 weeks - we'll just have to travel North to see my parents as really don't want to tell them over the phone. Am a bit that not having an early scan but a wee bit relieved as was very nervous.. this just delays the inevitable I suppose.

Thanks for all your congrats ladies - it's starting to seem more real now, although I know we're not out of the woods just yet.
Apparently they could tell it was a girl because the genitals are the same for boys and girls at this stage, but apparently if it was a boy they would have been pointing up whereas our baby's were horizontal. Interesting! The doctor did ask us to let him know in due course if he was right. And obviously if we hadn't wanted to know then he wouldn't have told us - I did actually make a point of asking.
Mibbes Shame you've cancelled your early scan, but I'm sure everything will be fine at the 12-week one. When is it exactly?

LOL at new name crossingallbutlegs ! I'd keep BD'ing if I were you as your chart doesn't seem to indicate an obvious thermal shift. it may be that today's dip is an estrogen rise which can happen a couple of days after ov but there is no big jump... you may be a slow riser but best to cover all bases and keep at it.
cricri 12 week scan is 16th May (I'll actually be 11+5) so can't wait to find out if all well. Given that my tum is swelling in the evening I am getting hopeful something going on in there (hopefully not just the food I am scoffing !).
Sparkly any sign of the egg for you ?

Oh crap I havn't called for a GP appointment. I wont get one for this week now. I dont make things easy for myself do I . I dont know if they bother to test for ovulation by the time I get an appointment.
