Am I still pregnant? Or chemical?

Last week I had light bleeding which I thought was my period starting. It was only when wiping for a few days. (Weds/ thurs)

On Monday I tested positive on a CB early digital 🥳

By Tuesday I was spotting again! Only light again, lasted less than 24 hours.
In my last pregnancy I had no bleeding so I don't have experience of any of this.

Wednesday I got '1-2 weeks pregnant'
I have done a few cheapies since and they seem light for around 20DPO, pic attached. The dates can't be that wrong because I track ovulation and sex.

Am I still pregnant? Should I test again? Will tests still show positive if Iv had a chemical?
Should I ask my doctor to do bloods? When will my period come if I have miscarried?

I'm thinking of you@justpeachy1234 and hope this is resolved soon.

When I had an ectopic it took a couple of weeks to actually find it! It was in my tube but was missed by three scans and only seen on the fourth when my tube was close to rupturing. I felt very sick, was pale and had pain that side beforehand so just be mindful of any symptoms which might indicate that.
So sorry you're going through this. It's really tough.

Thanks for your support.

I had my bloods taken. I have to call after 6pm for results.

She said depending on the result, they will make a plan. I think it will be another blood test on Friday. She said they won't scan until over 1,000 as you won't see anything so no point!

So the rollercoaster continues

Oh dear. I was kind of expecting that. I suppose they'll know better what they need to do when they've got the hCG result.

Yes they were reluctant to scan me too...if this goes on past the weekend, I'd push for a scan anyway, especially if you have any pain or you're bleeding dark blood.

The numbers are in... from 301 on Monday, to 380 today!

Iv got another blood test on Friday 😩
I just want to know what's going on. The waiting and unknown is soo overwhelming

I'm so sorry you still haven't got a resolution.

Yeah it's not good news, but I'm not sure how bad the new is atm.

I think the options are:

1. The pregnancy is not progressing and will miscarry at some point.
2. It's ectopic.

Unless my levels get to 1,000 a scan won't show anything. I'm not sure how they decide which option it is if my levels don't go above 1,000?

Surely I can't test every 2 days until I exceed 1,000?!

Aw crap sorry to hear that. They did eventually scan me even though my HCG wasn't at 1000. I think it's because I went to a&e in pain. So if you get pain and you're worried, go to a&e.

Iv not had any spotting for a week. Iv not had any real pain either. Iv been achey, bloated and cramps but not anything severe!
Il keep an eye out of any symptoms. Iv got a bad feeling that it's ectopic.

I just want it dealt with so I can physically and mentally move on. It's only been 4 days since my scan which said pregnancy of unknown location, but it's felt like a lifetime 😩

Yes I went again today. I had bloods and a scan.
I got the results wrong on weds, they were actually 318 (not 380)

So Iv gone Monday- 301, weds- 318, today-369.
Scan they couldn't see anything. No sign of anything anywhere! Still no idea what's going on or a plan of what to do.

She said my lining was thick (I think she said 23mm?!) and she could see I ovulated from the left side. She couldn't see anything in the tubes but couldn't confirm if in the right place or not.

Another blood test and scan Monday! I'm truly feeling up now 😩

What an absolute bloody nightmare!

I went today for another scan and bloods.
Scan was mainly the same. Thickness of lining reduced from 23 to 18! But no sign of any pregnancy.
The consultant said there was now a small shadow in my uterus which wasn't there on Friday which could be pregnancy tissue 🤷🏻‍♀️ he said his gut feeling it was a badly progressing pregnancy in the correct place, rather than ectopic.

I have another scan & bloods booked on Thursday. If shadow is still there, they will suck it out and test if it's pregnancy tissue.

I haven't got my blood results from today. But if they reduce at any point it may change the plan.

He just said they struggle to treat something unknown. He understands how fed up I am, but said time will tell 😩

My goodness, you're really going through it, aren't you.
I hope you get a resolution soon. I'd been hoping that they'd have a definite plan for you today.
