Should I prepare for the worse?

Hi ladies. I'm currently 13DPO. AF is due on Wednesday. I got a vv faint positive at 9/10DPO. Iv had 3 consecutive miscarriages so my anxiety is through the roof. Going to call EPAU this morning as I can self refer. These are my latest test (the digi was taken yesterday at 12DPO) just looking for a bit of support, re assurance or for some honesty.

@JNicko so happy for you, there’s no second guessing that it’s developing now. Had a panic this morning as my test looked the same/ lighter, I’ve just done one and it’s a lot darker again so feeling relieved. Very crampy, how are you? X

My only advice - a line being darker or lighter doesn't indicate anything other than concentration of HCG in your urine - this could be due to how hydrated you are, how long since you last emptied your bladder, etc

And you'll boil your head testing everyday. You've got your positive - take a step back and enjoy it

@LW678 I know exactly how you feel. A couple of times mines looked lighter and Iv just gone 'well that's it' tested again, and it's dark again. I'm feeling very tired today, twitching/spasms in my lower abdomen and also nausea at 3:00am last night. Iv not had anymore cramping. I want to do a digi to see if the weeks have gone up but I know for a fact if they haven't it will just send me on a downward spiral x

@JNicko mine seemed to be focusing on one side then sometimes all over. Yeah there’s no way I’m touching a weeks indicator yet! X

Don't know about you but I'm soooo bloody warm too 😂 Iv got all windows and fan on . Poor dog looking at me like I'm daft x

@JNicko when is your scan again? I’ve moved mine to this Thursday coming where by my LMP I’ll be 5 weeks and 4 days, I know I won’t see much but as long as I can rule out ectopic and see a yolk sac I’ll be happy! Will have another one then again in 2 weeks x

Mines not until the 23rd 😩 did they let you bring it forward? When they called me they said earliest they could scan would be 6 weeks x

@JNicko it will soon come around. Yeah I explained that I’m a nervous wreck and so worried about ectopic pregnancies, it wasn’t a problem at all. X

Oh really that's good of them. They just said to contact them if I have any pain or bleeding. X

I know it’s very difficult op, but step away from the pregnancy tests. It is so anxiety provoking and could be a factor in your cramping (anxiety can cause stomach pain in itself ) . I’d you can run to it why not get a private early scan next week ?

It's too early for any scan. It's so small, it can't be picked up. It'll at best look like a tiny dot because the blastocyst is just dividing into embryo and placenta. 6 weeks is really the earliest for a detection.

Same really! Tests are darker each day and got symptoms so 🤞🏼 x

You need to stop testing. It won't change the outcome.
Put the money you save into a savings account for the baby!

I feel sick on and off, so hot (my cheeks are bright red) and really tired. X

This is what mine looked like at 16dpo! Glad to see them getting darker 🫶🏽

So far so good. Still not got my dye stealer but tests seem to be getting darker

Good thanks, my test this morning was finally a dye stealer! Still got the one sided cramping but I’m hoping it’s the corpus luteum. How are you getting on? X

Not too bad. Getting cramping too on and off. Not got a 'dye stealer' but my tests as dark as control or not far off. Not looking to far into the test darkness and stealers etc because Iv read plenty of people that don't get one and not a big issue. Not long for your scan now? Here's my latest test. That's it for me testing now! Just going to relax and whatever will be will be.
