Should I prepare for the worse?

Hi ladies. I'm currently 13DPO. AF is due on Wednesday. I got a vv faint positive at 9/10DPO. Iv had 3 consecutive miscarriages so my anxiety is through the roof. Going to call EPAU this morning as I can self refer. These are my latest test (the digi was taken yesterday at 12DPO) just looking for a bit of support, re assurance or for some honesty.

I'm worrying about everything every hour of everyday

Sorry OP. Early pregnancy is stressful enough as it is without all this added worry. Hope it all goes well for you xx

TheShellBeach · 09/05/2024 15:40

I hope everything goes well for you, OP.

LW678 · 09/05/2024 17:37

@JNicko please don’t come off the thread!

JNicko · 09/05/2024 17:47

@LW678 I probably should. Everything I'm just over thinking. I know people only try to be helpful but sometimes it just sets a trigger off in my mind and that's it. I wish there was a pill I could take to make me sleep for 3 weeks until next scan.

@JNicko believe me I know exactly how you’re feeling after being there previously and here again. Life is being lived in limbo, I don’t understand how some women can carry on as normal and almost forget they’re pregnant!

JNicko · 09/05/2024 19:39

@LW678 I think it's the MMC that's triggering me. Because I'm constantly re living what happened and thinking that obviously I could loose the baby and not even know about it.

Once you’ve heard a heartbeat then statistically you're ok

@LapinR0se sorry I thought you said 'seen' a heartbeat. I haven't actually heard it yet

That's great. You must be relieved. Mines not until 28th of this month. I'm doing okay just constant on my mind.

@JNicko I do but I know soon enough the worry will set in. Hopefully that will fly by. In the mean time if anxiety gets the better of you can you book in for a private scan?

I may do yes. Just what the nurse said at the EPAU has put me off private scans a little

@JNicko that’s understandable

JNicko · 17/05/2024 09:29

@LW678 well I have caved. Got a private scan booked at 12:20 today. Iv been so anxious. I think it's mainly because I'm around same time I lost my first to MMC. Hope your ok x

@JNicko good for you. I don’t blame you in the slightest. Going through a MMC brings so much worry. How many weeks are you now? X

According to what NHS said at the last one I should be 7+5. I'll be honest as long as there's a heartbeat I'm going to try not get too hung up on dates and measurements. Bricking it to say the least but I need to do it for my own sanity. Good or bad news x

OP posts:
TheShellBeach · 17/05/2024 12:05

I really hope you get good news, @JNicko

JNicko · 17/05/2024 12:53

@LW678 well as expected. Baby has not grown and no heartbeat. Looks like another MMC. Waiting for NHS to call me now as private scanning place is calling them. I wish you all the best xx

Oh lovely. I’m so so sorry. That’s so sad and I’m sorry you are going through it again.

Sending you love.

I'm so sorry, @JNicko

That's devastating news. After all this, another loss.
Was your husband with you?
