And I haven't even had a drink since I got back from school either!

roquefortlover · 01/04/2008 18:17

Grrr, so much for waiting till Friday - did Tesco test on way home from work ( had to go to Tesco and it had my name on it...). AF due today, anyway it was a BFN of course andd I feel crampy now too so expecting period soon. Oh well. I'm not really suprised!

orchidgirl · 01/04/2008 20:25

Why do I have the urge to check today even though my temp has started to drop? I have managed to hold off today, but know that if AF doesn't start overnight I will be tempted to test tomorrow even though AF not due till Thursday.

Jackstini · 01/04/2008 21:49

Wow we are an impatient bunch - blimey there is just no holding you lot back!
Sticks being peed on all over the place

amytheearwaxbanisher · 01/04/2008 22:07

oh can i join af due on thursday really want to test!ive no syptoms this month where as i have loads of "syptoms"the last few months and nothing but bfn! so my thinking is "symptoms"=bfn no symptoms should mean bfpalthough i was sick this morning

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 22:39

Mmmm Amy, nice name

Yes I do fear the whole point of this thread (i.e. not to test) has been taken over by the impatient 'newbies' - Sorry about that...!

But will still add that period has not come, so am officially late (whooooooo hoooooooooooooo!!!) So does that mean I am allowed to test now?

kayzisbroody · 02/04/2008 06:46

BFN!!!

Its with a first response so I know its right and Im not testing too early.

93% of women get the right result 2 days early so it's bloody obvious. I might put of ttc for a couple of months to lose some weight.

NatalieJane · 02/04/2008 07:08

(C&P'ed from TTC thread.....)

Sorry Kay, but it is by no means over yet! Don't diet too soon.

OK, erm.... I saw a line, DH didn't, he says he saw a bit of colour, but wouldn't say a line, it was glaringly obvious to me, but since he can't see it, I have to err on the side caution and say perhaps I was making it up? I don't think I am though!!!! But it was a cheapie one, so it doesn't count, will be going into town later to get a proper one, can't believe I am going to have to wait till tomorrow morning....!

kayzisbroody · 02/04/2008 07:12

PICTURE!!!!

OracleInaCoracle · 02/04/2008 08:56

oh nj, sounds good. isnt period due today?

and hello to all! had my first itch last night, reckined that because period was a week late i may have ov'd a week early, so would technically be due today. managed to hold off... only a week to go....

OP posts:
artichokes · 02/04/2008 09:19

That sounds really good NJ.

Kaz - When I was pregnant with DD I got a BFN on a first repsonse the day AF was due. Even once I was 2 days late the line was really light...

Well I have managed to get out of the house without testing again. Am very proud of myself. Only 48 hours to go. Sadly I think I am beginning to feel slight AF pains though . Maybe I won't have to test at all.

OracleInaCoracle · 02/04/2008 09:20

artichokes, it aint over til the red lady sings!

OP posts:
NatalieJane · 02/04/2008 09:23

Period was due yesterday! Still no sign of it now

Sorry Kay and I carried on the convo on the TTC thread.

I can't get a pic of it, it won't show up.

The colour came across nice and quickly to show the control line, then about 2 minutes later, I peeled back the strip (t'was a cheapie eBay one) and a tiny bit more colour flushed across, it stopped at the test line, so to the left of the test line was slightly darker than to the right of it. DH could see the colour was ever so slightly different at one end than the other, but he couldn't tell where it stopped, even though it was blantently obvious to me (deluding myself?!!).

I did one last night before bed, and couldn't see a line at all, but when I looked at the side of the strip, (so like the edge of it) I could see a lot of colour where the test line would have been.

Am holding off peeing till I get back from town (have ran out of tests - typically!) but British Gas is here fixing the boiler, so can't go until they have finished, don't know if I can hold off going for a wee for much longer, gonna be running round town with my legs crossed!!!

NatalieJane · 02/04/2008 09:25

Oooooh yes Kay, and if I am pregnant, I got BFN yesterday (day period was due) with FR!

Artichokes, well done on holding off, I thought period was coming yesterday but so far, nothing!

kayzisbroody · 02/04/2008 13:17

I was nearly horrible to an old lady today.

I feel so bad.

Well done Artichokes!!

OracleInaCoracle · 02/04/2008 13:31

why? what happened?

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 02/04/2008 13:33

She said "You and Ross(dh) aren't getting any younger, when are you having another"

I'm 22 this month and dh is 26 in July.

Nearly shouted that we are f*cking trying.

I am so annoyed with myself!

OracleInaCoracle · 02/04/2008 13:44

pmsl some people have no idea! whenever i get "so are you going to have another? isnt it cruel to leave ds as an only child?" i tell them in graphic detail what has happened to us

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 02/04/2008 13:46

I know, they just dont think that maybe its not because you only want one.

I know its only my second month of trying but the day I get a BFN I really dont need it.

Right I better go back to work. YAY

tinkerbell2 · 02/04/2008 13:46

good luck artichokes

artichokes · 02/04/2008 17:15

Hi Guys

Having been very calm about testing for a few days I am suddenly obsessing about it. I am still stuck at my desk which is lucky because if I were at home I think my will-power would have broken.

AF is due Friday. Would it be sooo bad to test with FMU tomorrow? Its just one day early.

I do have some cramps so it is likely AF will appear before the morning. But if she doesn't do you think it would be stupid to test? I have internet cheapies.

NatalieJane · 02/04/2008 17:17

Testtttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

I mean no of course not

Testtttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

OracleInaCoracle · 02/04/2008 17:37

artichokes, dont test. if (god forbid) af arrives on friday you will have wasted £10 for the sake of one day. hold off!

OP posts:
NatalieJane · 02/04/2008 17:38

Oooooh yes, listen to Lissie

lennied · 02/04/2008 17:43

I'm with NJ, test with a cheapie. They are only about 40p each. I spent 60p on a newspaper today and it was rubbish, so 40p on a HPT is a good investment. Ha! Beat that logic!

Got cramps here, AF not due for another week but hope fading. Boobs not half as sore as they were 1st pg, I'm tired but have been working hard so no surprise. As soon as I convince myself there's hope I start work straight away on convincing myself I'm delusional. It's so cruel this 2WW each month. I don't understand why it has to be so long... and I used to teach Sex Ed!
