I know kayz, it was sort of part of my warped reasoning in buying it!! But also i thought if i wait until AF comes then buy it it would be too late to use it this cycle so....anyway we shall see one way or another

Yeah, its like tempting fate isn't it.

I thought it was time I joined this thread as I have a compulsive addiction to testing too early. This month I swore I wouldn't do it until at least 12 days DPO but I just weakened and wasted yet another test. I am either 9 or 10 days DPO so testing was silly, silly, silly.

Help me! How do I stop myself wasting my other two tests before Friday????

You can wait with me. I am due on Friday so I will test Friday morning.

If you feel an urge to test come on here and we will stop you from testing!!

Thanks Kaz. I might have to ask DH to hide the tests until Friday morning! My will power is appalling.

I can feel my resolve weakening...feel really nauseous today . Have had to be very firm with myself not to go and buy a First Response.....

I did exactly that last month Arti. They are locked in his briefcase.

I really want to go to Boots and get a First Response but I am not going to.

kayz you are an example to me! If I can get through today I have no opportunty to buy one before Thursday which will be good.

I was very bad last month, just ask Natalie. I did too many tests and I felt awful.

I think I'm being so controlled because I think we missed OV as dh was feeling ill. So maybe thats why.

Hi all - I am very pleased with myself this morning, I managed to resist the lure of the bathroom cupboard, ignore the box of tests and get out of the house without breaking. I am now at work and so have no oppurtinity to test until tomorrow morning .

I am not sure why I am getting all excitable this month. I am very unlikely to get a BFP as we only did it once because DH had a really, really bad back at the crucial point. Any way, roll on Firday...

thats great artichokes. every day is a step closer. it would be great if we could all resist the pull, and then get bfps!!

sorry ive not been on ladies, spending quality time with dh and ds, off to ikea in a minute. feeling quietly optimistic this month, dont know why, no major symptoms (if you dont count going right off spicy/garlicky foods) but period is due next weds (last month it was a week late tho) so only 7 days to go!

Hello everyone, I am trying to stay away because I have broken the rules and tested, all BFN, including todays (period is due today, no sign of it so far though)

Kay did use just about test going last month, all my her own fault though!!

Will be testing daily till period comes, I would love to say I won't but I know I will, so watch this space I guess!

Hello all. I am on CD22 and due anytime between 26-29 (this weekend). I went into Superdrugs to buy a new toothbrush and found myself in THAT aisle and I bought a CB Digital. Not only was I a complete weedy weakling buying it and literally ran back home and did a test which you are NOT supposed to do as you need the first wee of the day. Anyway, it was a bfn. I tested far far far too early and now Im all upset. Pathetic.

Ahhh Mono, thing is, you know it's too early, and you know it isn't over until your period comes, take no notice of BFN, it is not over by a long shot yet

I am now having the usual pre-period cramps, so looks like I am out of the race for this month, but am now back to worrying what is wrong with my belly.... any of you who have looked at the pic of my belly on my profile, what the hell causes such severe swelling???

NJ - I know. The last few days of waiting are unbearable at times. Anyway, your belly...get it checked out. Could be nothing, could be something and the sooner you go the better. Call the GP today and make an appt. It is obvs concerning you so put your mind at rest. BTW, your boys are gorgeous!

Yes I know the waiting feeling, I am in a way relieved to now be waiting for period, and not still be manic over the am I/aren't I question!

I am off to the docs on Thursday, seems like a long time away at the moment.
