@Xxfifixx89 I'm on day 8 of this cycle. Shark week over, shag week begins 😂. Should ovulate around Tues (CD13).

I used the pdg strips from 7 days after my first positive opk last cycle, what they call in the instructions 7dpp (past peak fertility) which was 6dpo for me. I only took photos on my camera app for the first two days whilst I figured out the Proov app. Just took photos straight from the app for 3rd and 4th test which annoyingly you can't access after (at least I can't figure out how). Attached pics from the first two days and the results from all four days according to the app. Even on the highest day I remember I did have a second line, though quite faint.

They apparently test pdg levels 7PO. You need at least 3 postive out of the 4 to determine a successor ovulation… its just a way of confirming you are ovulating after your peak Lh surge. You get 5 tests… use one at the start of your cycle and save the other 4 for 7,8,9,10 DPO… my baseline had two… for the test to be positive after ovulation it needs to only show one x never used them before so we will see ha x

Ah so you had high levels 9dpo only… i get it noe and what im to look out for. Needs to be positive at least 3/4 days doesnt it i read. They are expensive but thought id give them ago as a one off. Im only one month tracking and its becoming a full time job🤣

Sounds like a solid plan. They're definitely a good tool for getting an insight into progesterone but until they're as well researched and cheaply available as opks I'd be hesitant to make them a monthly staple. I might do a blood progesterone test in a cycle or two though now I know it's potentially an issue for me.

What vitamins are you taking?

@ThingsLineUp Currently taking these multivitamins plus these high-dose B-Complex with Vitamin C as both B6 and C are suggested to improve short luteal phases. When I conceived last time I had also started taking agnus castus but want to try for a bit with just the vitamins before I add that back in.

@Xxfifixx89 3/4 positive days confirm "successful ovulation" the website says. 1 or 2 positives means "weak ovulation": https://proovtest.com/blogs/blog/what-does-a-positive-pdg-test-mean. I'm skeptical though. Surely I either ovulated or I didn't?! They sell progesterone supplements so feels like they're maybe trying to artificially create more customers for those. On the other hand, I definitely didn't conceive last cycle so maybe I am a weak ovulator 😅 Going to do a month or two tracking BBT and then maybe look to get a blood progesterone test.

I do love data and getting so much insight on what's going on inside my body but you're right, feels like a full time job, I have to be careful not to get too obsessed!

Yeah they have now been fda approved but so expensive of you were to use them every month. Iv been on the pill for over 10 years and 38 now so i was just curious as to if i am ovulating or not as apparently you get a surge but still not ovulate.. which again is mental ha! I will put my results on here over the weekend and see if iv just wasted 25£ 🤣 theres also a finger prick blood test you can dost home before missed period but seems like the msrket to conceive is just making money from us desperately trying to get pregnant haha! X

@jellyfish2210 Sorry to hear you're feeling down about it all. It is depressing when you try so hard and nothing happens. It's a good idea to take a break and just chill for a bit. I sometimes get so wrapped up in TTC that I forget to enjoy life. I hope you can relax a little bit. 😊

I think I'm 12dpo and definitely feeling periody now. I usually get one or two spots before AF but now I have 8!!! And I've been cramping for most of this cycle. Grr. Not tested today yet because I ran out of tests. I have some now but should really use fmu. I'll probably end up testing in a minute anyway. Haha.

Hey anyone got increased CM which is white and milky? Iv noticed im wetter down there today? Only 5DPO

Lurker here on the other threads, it's been a great source of info and support. 39 and TTC for 8 months and although that's not long at all, thought I was done for (like you do 🙄).

Anyway

Had an absolute melt down the month before last at the mechanical nature of TTC.

Such a cliche I know but we said nope, not doing it anymore. Deleted the apps, binned the sticks and said if it happens, it happens. I even forgot to take the pre conception tablets! We had a few events coming up that we wanted to enjoy so we focused on that instead.

At the time I wasn't paying attention to where I was up to in my cycle but knew I was in the 2nd half. I had some strange cramps (not like period cramps, but like the sort of pains I get around ovulation) so much so, I was convinced I was ovulating. In my confusion, I managed to dig out a rogue ovulation stick from the deep dark depths of my handbag and it had a dark line. I only twigged the next day that ov sticks can get confused with HCG. Took a test and it was only bloody positive at 12DPO! Now about 18DPO so early days but hoping for a sticky one.

Aww this is great news. Congratulations. I am only 5dpo and today have increased cm and some right weird belly ache so guessing its not a good month🤦🏻‍♀️

@Lalaland13 well I'm cd35 and thought I ovulated 3rd March but am wondering if I ovulated later?? I haven't tracked using opk, was going to start next cycle. Only going by flo app based on period tracking and changes in cm.
Is it too light? I'll probably test again on Saturday.

Hi @SnookyPook, hope this isn't odd but I remember talking to you on here when I had my miscarriage last year, think we went through it at the similar time and remember how helpful it was to talk to you!!

@BussiBop23 aw it's nice to hear from you! I guess like me it's on your mind quite a bit as it's coming up to the anniversary of it all. Can't believe it's a year ago. I had quite a rocky year last year. After the loss last April I then had a CP early Sept and then a MC at 7wks around Halloween. I was then waiting for a referral to a fertility consultant so planned some time off over Christmas to just relax and put it all out my head a bit until the new year... Stopped tracking etc.. But someone had other plans. Had another BFP end of Nov and thankfully this one seems to be sticking 🙏🏼🌈 I'll be 20wks on Monday. Still can't quite believe it tbh but starting to relax into it a little bit more now. I think I'm beginning to feel movements now too which is helping! 🥺🥰

I think if you did ovulate 3rd March you’d expect it to be darker but who knows! A line is a line! Hope it darkens for you xx

My test very negative this morning! Feel like AF coming! So depressing! Another month. Hey I wasn’t sure on a Xmas baby to be fair so maybe it’s a good thing !

6dpo today and by eck its been the longest week of my life… think next month il switch off and not track and see what happens🤣 how’s everyone feeling xxx congrats on BNP’s to those who have one x

I usually not bothered most of the month it’s just TWW and in some ways when AF shows you know where you are! I’ve given up now, negative at 12… pretty sure was positive about 10 with my little man! It’s his second birthday party today!
