@Westy22 yes, as long as little one cooperates!! Yes I must say since the 12wk scan time has actually picked up the pace on this pregnancy. It feels like another week rolls around so quickly now which is crazy after how the first trimester felt like it lasted a decade 😂

@Jadeypie hope you had a nice meal with your niece! Lovely to hear you sounding so positive ☺️

@Westy22 that’s great to be discharged from epau, another piece of positive news. It doesn’t feel that long ago you got your bfp, before you know it, you’ll be back for your 12 week scan.

@Sez281 so glad to hear it all went well. Hopefully the anti sickness meds help you out, it’s exhausting enough without feeling unwell too.

@Westy22 ah didn't realise you were over 7 weeks, that's gone quickly. Have you decided not to have any of the testing?
@SnookyPook nearly half way already, that has gone quickly.
@xxcxdonxx how many dpo are you now? Will you wait to test?

Clear blue test was negative this morn yay, so onto daily ovulation strips 🙈 although my mood seems to have dropped off a cliff, hopefully that'll change before peak haha.

@Paws4thought aw that's good news. Glad you've got your closure. On to the opks now!! I'm sure your mood will pick up soon - you've been through a hell of a lot and also had hormones all over the place, so go easy on yourself! 💗

@SnookyPook thank you, hopefully hormones will settle down a little now too. If I get a bfp before next period it'll be due around Christmas day 🙈

Glad your finally able to have a fresh start, as Snooky said your hormones will still be all over the place so totally normal for you to feel your mood has dropped x

@paw @Paws4thought aw hehe. Funny when you hear people wanting to avoid certain dates etc. Somehow that all matters less after loss I think! My birthday is 29th Dec and I don't mind it too much. It is what it is! I know a couple of people with Christmas Eve birthdays and even a Christmas Day!

@Paws4thought thats good news.. and the thing is, ovulation could be anytime now so abit of blind cycle lol omega 3s vit c and d can boost your mood, and maybe a higher dose vit b6 to give your hormones a help to settle
@Westy22 tbh not finding out is a wise decision if it makes no difference and you will be both plsd not having those figures infront of you worrying. Whats your plans now then, ride it out until your dating scan?

@Sez281 your sickness must be bad to need them 🙁 lets hope they work and it settles on its own soon. Did you stop the pessaries?

@Supertrooper101 I'm going to try and ride it out now till 12 weeks 😱 I've got my booking appointment on the 9th so that breaks up the wait a bit, bit worried my 12 week scan may be late as I've not got a date for it yet assuming the midwife sorts it? If I have a wobble there's a private scan place 5 mins away 🤣 how you getting on?

Anyone found any bloat remedies lol my bowels are slightly more active now but still bloating alot, I read peppermint tea/capsules help but Google says to avoid in first trimester 😫

@Westy22 yeah the midwife sorts your scan out, you should get an appointment letter withing 1-2wks after seeing her. Oooo a scan place 5mins away haha thats toooo tempting lol bloating, i tried rennie deflate, didnt touch it.. infact nothing has/is. So if you look 6mths pregnant already, id say its normal lol i drank boiled water and just had fybogel. Some days it was really uncomfy tho... am still day by day lol mw app next week. Half term for easter too so just taking it as it comes 🙂

@Paws4thought that’s good you have had your negative and are able to start a fresh. Joys of testing in some aspect never leave us!

I think I’m 7/8dpo today. I’m meant to take these pessaries for 10 days so I’ll need test at that point to know whether to continue to take them. Annoyingly I’ve ran out of 200mg. I thought I had another box of them but it’s the 400mg.
I am meant to take 2x200mg daily so I wonder if I take 1x400mg instead it will still do the trick?
My hearts not in it this month, normally that would freak me out but I’m just winging it over here right now 🤣

@Westy22 I think it always goes quicker for other people than yourself. That's good best not to know then 😊
@SnookyPook my bday is just before Xmas and if I'm honest I don't like it so close and didn't really want that for my child but I don't want to waste time not trying just to avoid the date when anything could happen!
@Supertrooper101 thanks for vitamin advice, I'll have to go shopping haha I'm taking vit d and folic again now but nothing else yet. I said to my oh it could be this week but also might not be for weeks. How many weeks are you now?
@xxcxdonxx ah only a couple of days til you test then, what is it you're taking? I imagine the 400 mg is the same as 2 x 200mg. That's good that you're not too caught up in it all this cycle.

@Supertrooper101 after a lot of arguing with my OH who kept telling me to trust the consultant, I can fully off the progesterone. He's right, I need to trust the system and she is highly recommended as knowing what she's doing 🤷‍♀️

@xxcxdonxx id have definitely gone for 1x400 as it does the same thing I'd imagine. Plus one less thing to do in morning/night 👌 your heart not being fully in it this month could actually be a good thing!

@Westy22 there's a private scan place 5 mins from me too. I don't think I'll last the 4 weeks until my next one 🙈

Just got a call from the hospital with the NIPT chromosome blood results. All came back low risk which is so good 🥹 (obviously still very aware that there are a number of things it doesn't test for) She’s posted them out so we’ll also find out the sex of baby in a day or two 🙈🩵 🩷 Obviously a long way to go but a little more hopeful and we can start to tell more people our news ☺️

@Sez281 oh that's wonderful news! 🥰 So happy to hear this!

Yep I'm pretty excited and just slightly anxious. Going for a Doppler check this afternoon so hopefully that will help the nerves a little more before the scan. 🙏🏼🌈

@Sez281 its a tough one about the pessaries, but i guess you have to let go at some point lol isnt it when the placenta has taken over its not needed? Maybe they saw that and thats why they said stop. Thats great about the results. Do they give you a figure breakdown like the nhs or is it just a low etc. Did you have the standard nhs one at your dating scan too? Be interesting how they compare. Thats so exciting finding out the sex !
@SnookyPook good call on the doppler 🙂 must be so much easyer just being able to do that now instead of fighting epu for a scan lol good luck for the little one playing ball tomorrow

@Supertrooper101 thank you! All sounding good! Heart rate has dropped to 143 which is apparently great for this gestation. Midwife said it sounded strong and nice regular rhythm. Can definitely go into tomorrow a bit less anxious now! 💗 Have you got your 16wk coming up? Or just had it? I've lost track! X

@Supertrooper101 nope it was just a run of the mill scan 🤷‍♀️Maybe she didn't bother because she knew I'd had Nipt? I was really thrown by the fact that she used my lmp and wrote due date by that snd not measurements either 🧐

Hi all! Hey! All good! It's another little boy! 🥰Structurally looking healthy - only thing is he's a bit on the dinky side (9th centile overall and head circumference and femur length were below 5th centile 🫤) so they want me in again in 2-3 weeks to check in. Was expecting growth scans anyway from 3rd trimester. Feeling slightly thrown they want us back in so soon but my son was born 5th centile and is now 90th centile for height!! So hopefully nothing sinister. Trying to get my head around being a full on boy Mamma!! 💙💙🥰 Xx

Aww @SnookyPook that's amazing! There's nothing like little brothers 🩵(I say this as an aunt to multiple nephews!) I get the worry about the measurements but you'll be well monitored and it sounds like it didn't affect your other little lad in any way.. So happy for you, it's hard to believe how far you e come since late last year. Such a story of hope 🥰

@Sez281 thank you! Yes, a this stage last year my son was 50th centile for everything but obviously growth slowed a bit after that. Hopefully this one will catch up and all will level out. I clearly don't make massive babies but as I said, hopefully it's all ok. They've marked down no anomalies seen in the skull/brain/femur so it looks like they are all fine apart from measuring a bit small. It's so easy to get worried about things. However, he was also in a very odd position - he was tucked up with his legs over his head and his knees touching his nose 😂😂 and the sonographer mentioned a couple of times it was a bit tricky so I guess it's very possible that some of the angles of the measurements weren't ideal either!

@Sez281 thats bizarre that.. whole point of a dating scan is to measure and date accordingly lol did they give you the measurements of baby so you could work it out yourself lol no way could i wait till 20wks so got one tomorrow. Reading on what they do, its kinda like an early 20wk one with the checks etc. Il be 15 just over.... can even tell.the sex if there in a good position!
@SnookyPook youl just have to habe a 3rd now for a girl lol ive two nephews and they fight like hell lol but you know they would always protect each other. My boy was classed as restrictive growth. He was nearly full term and still only a tiny 6lb 1oz. He was 10 last week and taller than average. I guess some just dont want to get beefy in there lol only issue we had with him though was he wouldnt keep food down when he was born so was in nicu for the wkend....but...... that didnt last long as was a fat baby 🤣 until he started moving, then never stopped moving so scrawny now lol there so random but i wouldnt be put off by it. Yours was tiny and is fine now 🙂

@SnookyPook congratulations! Is your little boy happy with a brother on the way? Hopefully measurements will be higher at next scan :)

@SnookyPook awww congratulations, another boy is lovely. It’s hard not to worry about sizes but sounds like he had got himself into all sorts of positions so I’m sure it was tricky to be precise. Good news you will be monitored.

Thanks @xxcxdonxx and @Paws4thought hoping it will come in the post today, if not it will be next week because of the bank holiday. I can survive a few more days without knowing anyway, the risk factor with my age was my main concern🙏
