@SnookyPook ive seen that alot online about 2yr waiting list so not suprised at all. Are you not able to chage to part time cor the allocated nursery hours you have so far?

Hey everyone - I've not been on mumsnet at all in a couple of weeks, with the nicer weather and wee man getting bigger I've not been online much at all which I guess can only be a good thing?!
Had over 100 unread posts on here so I have just skimmed through but @xxcxdonxx I'm so so sorry you're going through this again. It's not bloody fair.

So pleased to see things are progressing well for @SnookyPook @Sez281 @Westy22 @Supertrooper101... I haven't missed anyone have I? So busy on here!

@jt130593 welcome and sorry for your loss that must have been so hard.
I'm 35, have a 3yo daughter and had a miscarriage in March 23 like many of the ladies here. I was lucky to fall pregnant again on my second cycle after the loss, about 11 weeks later. That was a healthy pregnancy and my son is 12 weeks old now, which is hard to believe, time is going so fast. Wishing you all the luck in the world with ttc

@Hankthehonk Great to hear from you. Can't believe Rory is 12 weeks now, I'd say he's all sorts of cute! 🥰 Rori was actually always one of my girls names (like from Gilmore girls the tv show) I'm trying to persuade my OH to put it on the list but he thinks it's just for boys 😂

@jt130593 I'm sorry to hear that you think you're out this cycle but it still is really early like @Jadeypie says. I know it's easier said than done but try and distract yourself as much as possible. Still no sign for you @Jadeypie ? How many dpo are you now?

@Supertrooper101 @Westy22 @SnookyPook I highly recommend this holiday lark as a lovely distraction if you can (easier with no kids to look after I know!) I'm currently sitting on the balcony looking at another mini break to Italy maybe in July🤔 😂

@Sez281 I'm just waiting for fertile week to begin, got the blood tests booked for Wed and just passed when my first pregnancy was due, I don't feel terrible about it which I guess is good. Hope you have a lovely holiday 😀

I'm so jealous @Sez281 the weather here is so crap. I'm desperate to book a little Spain getaway but trying to work out how much leave I take this year or do I bank it and add on to mat leave. Plus we have a house to finish so maybe a holiday isn't so wise 🤣 I'm on a little 3 day break from work now...spent the day yesterday sorting the garden...today we're tiling the kitchen and tomorrow I need to try and add some rails to the wall in the dining room as I had the great idea of doing raised skirting 🙈💤 so it's not really a break tbh 🤣

@SnookyPook ahh I love Morocco, I hope he's left you lots of cash for treats if your being left behind 🤣 your nursery info has given me anxiety 🤣 there's two nurseries a stone throw away from me which would be first choice and now I'm worried I won't even get them lol although my friend recently put her son in one and I'm sure it was available quite soon so maybe its certain areas. I might start enquiring.

@Paws4thought that's great that you've got bloods booked for Wednesday. If nothing else it might give you some extra insight into things 🤞

@SnookyPook I think after 10 days at home alone running after a toddler you'll deserve a holiday! 🤯😂I'm minding 2yo and 1yo nephews the weekend after we get back and don't know how we'll cope. Told my OH it's good practise 😂

@Supertrooper101 how are you doing?

I'm having a lovely time on hols, struggling to sleep a bit with my back which is annoying but I kind of always knew it would flair up during pregnancy 😣 (my age probably doesn't help!) Every now and then I find myself freaking out that I'm still not big enough and haven't felt movements yet 🤯 but I push it to the back of my mind. I might book a private scan early next week if I'm still worried but for now I'm pushing through and saying everything is ok to myself repeatedly 🧘

@Sez281 morning from another shitty overcast day lol back ache during the nite, am going with age lol getting less n less slp but never got any of these special pillows etc the other times so am hoping its a phase lol had the 2nd scan last week, she said all ok thankfully. Was on about my boy being small and she said this one is big, but she wasnt clear in context...big big or big compared to too small so average 🤔 lol ... are you about 17 now? They say with your first it can tame longer to feel them.did they say where your placenta is? Just have a private one mid holiday, if it gives u peace of mind whats it matter lol

@Sez281 glad your enjoying the break!! I find toddlers easier than newborns tbh it's my favourite age. Also I agree with @Supertrooper101 can be abit later to feel movements don't worry and don't worry about size either my boy lived in my back and caused all kinds of back pain leg pain ect haha. Yeh nice 6 day af so starting tracking with opk in the next day or so xx

Thanks ladies, that was nice of you to message. That was it confirmed today it’s been a missed miscarriage. I opted for the mva again but they only do them once a week so the earliest I can go it next Tuesday. I’m worried that stopping taking these pessaries will make me miscarry at home again though so we will see. My little boy has an induction day at school on Tuesday too which made me sad I could possibly miss that for him.
Just feeling a bit rubbish about it all just now.

Thanks @SnookyPook , I did ask about any chance of cancellations etc but they apparently only do them once a week
now so just need to wait it out. All seems a bit unfair.
It’s been a bit of a day. My friend text me to tell me she was pregnant. She obviously didn’t know what was going on with me. We would have been due around the same time too so it’s all been a bit heavy.

How is everyone doing anyway? When are you back for your next scan @SnookyPook ?

Next scan will be Friday 17th while my Hubby is away so hoping it will all be fine. 🙏🏼

I know, I couldn’t make this stuff up. I was off today but I think I might just work the rest of the week. I just feel like I’m going to be moping about the house otherwise and work will keep me busy. I’ll see how it goes though. I’ll be working from home so easy enough to log off if something happens.

@xxcxdonxx I know what you mean, sometimes too much time to think isn't helpful. Working from home can be really handy sometimes. After my losses it was good to get some routine back but also to be able to just step away from the comp for a quick sob or a walk in the sunshine if the mood took me. Just listen to yourself I guess and allow yourself to process it all etc.

Yes, hopefully so. I still find occasionally the fear ramps up again even as we approach 3rd trimester. It's mad what a mental slog pregnancy after loss is. And so many women silently getting on with it, or going through further pain as you are now. It really is crazy what we go through isn't it.

I'm so so sorry @xxcxdonxx I really hoped this would be the one for you 💔 look after yourself, I can imagine how tough and heavy it feels right now 😔 really can't believe this is happening for you again Xx

I really get that @SnookyPook and I can’t imagine that fear ever really goes until you have your baby in your arms. I was saying to my friend that even if we did try again and find out I was pregnant, there would be so much to dread. I know I’d need to go for an early scan at epau and then follow ups two weeks apart which would bring a whole new anxious wait. It’s mad the hoops we need to jump through.
