Thanks ladies,I know it’s just a waiting game now and worrying about it isn’t going to help or change anything.

@Jadeypie that’s good ovulation is on the way, hopefully a more ‘normal’ cycle for you.

I only really had some light cramping for a bit yesterday @Sez281 and you are right it can be completely normal so just need to remember that.

Westy22 · 11/04/2024 14:51

As the others have said @xxcxdonxx I've had alot of cramping early on along with back ache which freaked me out, but things are still OK 🙏 hopefully this the case for you x

I've booked my scan 🙈🤣 were going Sunday eve after work when I'll be 10+4, that then leaves a two week window before my NHS one. I'm nervous but feel like I need to do it. X feel a bit rotten today, can't shake the hunger feeling even after eating and I think my comfy jeans are starting to cut off the blood supply in my stomach 🤣🤣

xxcxdonxx · 11/04/2024 16:12

Thanks @Westy22 🥰

That’s exciting! When did you have your last scan? I’ve never had a private scan before but if all works out this time I’m sure I’ll need more reassurance than the nhs ones.

Westy22 · 11/04/2024 16:57

@xxcxdonxx So I had one with EPU at 7+5 so nearly 3 weeks will have passed by the time Sunday comes 😱 this will be my first private one I've read really good reviews and it's a popular one so hopefully it will be OK x think the OH thinks I'm insane but oh well he doesn't have to come 🤣 I think I've done well to last 3 weeks so the two week wait for the NHS one will go quicker 🤣

xxcxdonxx · 11/04/2024 18:25

@Westy22 it is a huge wait for the 12 week scan so I think you are quite right. It’s worth every penny to give you that peace of mind. The wait for the next one will be a breeze then 😊
My oh would be the same but they don’t feel all the anxiety we do!

Supertrooper101 · 12/04/2024 08:16

@Westy22 i like the 'well he can stay at home' lol they dont feel or get it so dont blame you lol av started with cramping again and trying to remember, does it actually ever end lol
@xxcxdonxx like you say, worrying wont change anything, i wish i could follow that advise myself lol
@Jadeypie did u get any new goodies to try this cycle, gels, pills what other fads we buy lol

SnookyPook · 12/04/2024 09:15

@Supertrooper101 cramping comes and goes as womb periodically has to stretch out some more! Where are you up to appointment wise? You must be coming up to 20weeks in a couple of weeks or so...?!

@Westy22 don't blame you at all! It's such a long wait with no scans! If my EPU hadn't been so obliging I'm sure I'd have ended up with at least one private one this time! X

xxcxdonxx · 12/04/2024 09:32

@Supertrooper101 how many weeks are you now? Have you told anyone now?

Sorry you are cramping again, it’s just a constant worry isn’t it. I’m sure at your stage it’s perfectly normal though and everything is just stretching out. Mine only seems to be a bit in the morning then I’m fine for the rest of the day.

Just had someone call me to make a second appointment for the sticky blood test, which I now can’t get. Talk about timing!

Westy22 · 12/04/2024 11:24

@supertrooper how far are you now? I still get the odd aches now, more so as I approach a new pregnancy week. Yeah he doesn't really get it but he's just rolling with it now lol can you believe he's been telling me I need to start exercising 🤣🤣 I'll be the first to admit although I'm slim I'm not fit at all and do no exercise other than the fact I'm on my feet for about 8 hours a day, he's like you need some muscle 🤣🤣👊

Supertrooper101 · 12/04/2024 17:52

@Westy22 wow 🤦‍♀️ frigging men. I would say 8hrs on yoir feet is enough. And it bloody states everywhere....if u didnt work out before, do not start now...only mild amd gentle. So i would say 8hrs on it is mpre than enough. Tell im to ram it lol. My oh asked if the m/w weighed me last time. I was like, why, should they habe done? What you getting at...... thing is i worked out every day before, probably too much and would have carried on until i foumd out about the bleed. That shook me up and tinernet and dr said no exercise so i didnt. And that didnt clear up till around 12wks lol cramps ive had are not the normal type, more like a cold sensation under the lower stomach so ofc google says cold uterus so it worrys me about blood flow etc. Esp since i had these type on the loss . All abit of a mind fuck.

Am around 17 now so nxt one beginning of next mth. Been so hard going from weekly scans to none lol apart from the private one at 15.
@JM1997 any luck your end 🙂
@Jadeypie are your sticks still 'pissing' u around lol

Supertrooper101 · 12/04/2024 17:53

No not told anyone 🤣 but ppl know me for working out being slim and smoking, so there not bloody stupid surley lol

Sez281 · 13/04/2024 09:03

Ah I'm glad you've got the scan booked for tomorrow @Westy22 That'll speed the time out nicely before the NHS one. My OH is the same and doesn't see the need. But in fairness he knows what I'm like and has found ultrasound clinics beside where we'll be in Spain "just in case" 😂

@xxcxdonxx that's typical about the sticky blood test! Are you still on progesterone and aspirin? You have enough to cover you till you see somebody?

@Supertrooper101 can't believe you're 17 weeks. I'd say your friends have definitely sussed with you not gyming it or smoking 😂

@SnookyPook how you feeling? Lots of movement these days?

@Paws4thought hope you're out of limbo at this stage one way or another 🙏

@Jadeypie hope fertile week is going ok and you're nearly in the tww!

I'm smothering with this cold/chest infection and have horrendous headaches ever since I came off the progesterone (which is a side affect I didn't know about) I could deal with it just about but the cough is so bad that it's making me physically sick. I can't believe I made it to over 14 weeks with just nausea and now I'm puking 🙈 I'll definitely be hitting the GP on Monday, maybe I can get a safe antibiotic or something 🤞

xxcxdonxx · 13/04/2024 13:54

Aww @Sez281 sorry to hear you are feeling so rubbish. Hopefully you can get something at the GP. I didn’t know about the progesterone headaches, another joy to look forward to!

Yes I’m still on them. Interestingly when I spoke to a midwife at the epau, she said it was really unlikely to have had two ‘normal’ pregnancies and now have this sticky blood so wouldn’t suggest the aspirin and heparin. I’m not stopping it until told otherwise though!

Supertrooper101 · 13/04/2024 14:55

@xxcxdonxx so how would that midwife explain ur loses and sticky bloody results 🤦‍♀️.... keep doing what your doing lol
@Sez281 well thats shit... yours drs good isnt she so am sure she will sort you out. Did you wean off those pessaries or go cold turkey? Wonder if that made a difference. Hope younfeel better soon 🙂

Supertrooper101 · 14/04/2024 11:00

@Westy22 is it today your scan 🙂

Westy22 · 14/04/2024 11:13

Yeah @Supertrooper101 it's a at 17.30 so going from work, feeling nervous 😱

SnookyPook · 15/04/2024 09:36

Morning ladies! Another week begins!

Today is the anniversary of finding out about my MMC last year. For some reason I'd got quite superstitious about the date, even though I'm so much further on this year. It wasn't helped by waking in the night and not feeling little man moving. I was awake for about an hour and went to a bit of a dark place in my head. After dropping my son at nursery this morning I popped into my midwife base which is along the route home. They kindly listened in for me. Little man was hiding a bit but was there and his heart sounded strong. Towards the end he even kicked the Doppler a couple of times for good measure. Feeling relieved.

I've been doing so much better lately that this little anxious moment caught me off guard a bit. Anyway, thankfully had my reassurance now. 23wks today!! Absolute madness!

Hope everyone else is doing ok? Any updates? Xx

xxcxdonxx · 15/04/2024 10:07

I’m sorry @SnookyPook , I can imagine that regardless of now having another healthy pregnancy growing away that the sting of the previous mc ever leaves. That’s great that you were able to pop into your midwife base to give you that reassurance and that your little one played ball ☺️

I’ve just had a scan at epau, I should be 6+4 according to lmp but measuring about 5.5weeks. She was only able to see a pregnancy sac and yolk sac at this stage but trying not to get too caught up in that as I know it’s early days. Now waiting on the Dr to come and sign off on a blood thinner I’ve to take and I’ll be back in 2 weeks for a follow up scan. Relieved and worried at the same time!

SnookyPook · 15/04/2024 10:13

@xxcxdonxx aw glad the scan was ok. Remember my very first one measured me a whole week behind and I've stayed on that trajectory. Hopefully just a late ovulation/implantation combo for you. Good you've another scan booked in already.

Yes, it's weird. I sometimes think gosh if that one had worked out I'd have a 5 1/2 month old by now and would be through all the pregnancy stuff and the sleepless early days! Instead, here I am still in the middle of it all. But as previously mentioned, I'm sure when this one gets here I won't be able to imagine it being anyone but them in our family. Just odd sliding doors moments isn't it. Even wondered like what if that one had been a girl... How would it have been different etc... all pointless thoughts but sometimes just pop up. Xx
