Thank you guys ❤️ I feel so much calmer now but imagine the nerves will kick in as I approach the NHS scan on the 30th x

@SnookyPook I can imagine how anxious you must've felt, I totally understand though and probably will feel the same as I approach my date next month. So glad they were able to reassure you and all is well. Thinking of you today ❤️ 23 weeks though 🥰

@xxcxdonxx glad they've finally seen you at epu hopefully the next scan will show more progress for you and as @SnookyPook said could just be late ovulation 🙏 I have everything crossed xx

@SnookyPook Aww I'd imagine the anniversary of finding out has subconsciously triggered your anxiety. I don't think it will ever go away completely will it 😔 I'm so glad that you were able to go get checked out so quickly, sounds like the little lad was just playing peek a boo! 😂 So amazing to hear that you've reached 23 weeks 🙌💖

@xxcxdonxx I completely forgot you had your scan this morning. It's really reassuring to hear that everything is in the right place. I totally get the worry though but as @SnookyPook said she was in a very similar boat so hopefully you're the same 🙏 The main thing is to try and distract yourself as much as possible before the next one. Easier said than done I know!

Thanks ladies, the relief lasts for about 5 minutes doesn’t it?!
I’m just worried that they haven’t seen enough development for where I should be at this stage based on people seeing heartbeats really early on but I guess only time will tell.

I’m stocked up on medication though so im
doing everything that I can to make it work xx

My last mc baby was due on my wee girls bday and that’s coming up in a few weeks so I think it’s all just heavy on my mind.

@xxcxdonxx do you think you will get a private one in between? Like you say, your doing all you can.. like the others have said, all depends on when you ovulated etc etc, but i can imagine your a little gutyed regardless. Am your two little ones will keep your mind occupied tho lol

@SnookyPook wish mine was that accomadating lol ive been feeling off a few days had started feeling movement last week n half then nothing so asked to have a check over. They were too busy and said i should be going to triage not them anyway..... pretty sure the last m/w said you can see us anytime lol amyway am plsd i went up there anyway. Your there for ages but there very thorough. Showing a uti and dr did a swab too to send off. Listened in and felt the stomach cos thats been tender as hell latley too. Said all ok. This morning, full own nose bleed lol when i was there tho there was two others, 39+ and 38+ worried about movement. Felt abit of an amature at my stage 😅
@Sez281 how you getting on, did you manage to get some meds from the dr?

@Supertrooper101 it's really wrong how much care varies depending on where you are! Glad you pushed on and got seen though - especially with having an infection. Hope all clears up nicely for you. X

@Supertrooper101 yeah I’d naively hoped I would get an ‘everything looks great’ which in reality was never going to happen at this early stage. It all just feels similar to the last time when I had to go back multiple times so making me feel nervous. I’m not going to get a private one, I need a decent comparison against yesterdays and regardless of what a private one would show I’d still need to go back to epau so I’ll just wait. If things do progress as hoped I’ll maybe get a private one before the 12 week scan just for that reassurance.

That’s good everything was ok. It’s great when you start to feel movement but then just another thing to have to monitor. Did you get something for the uti?

@xxcxdonxx you have a good mindset and alot of willpower haha.... did they hell lol they said we will send it off to the lab and let me know. Least the drs give you sumat in the meantime lol
@SnookyPook tbf i was best of going to triage so i ges were lucky we do have that as an option

Aw @Supertrooper101 don't feel silly for getting checked out. You were right to if you were concerned. My GP likes to refer to it as a "precious" pregnancy. Not that every pregnancy isn't but especially those after loss or that are high risk. Hope your uti clears soon 🙏

My GP said I have an infection and has me on antibiotics and steroids ( I've read mixed things on steroids in pregnancy 😕 but i have to trust her that it's important to clear the infection and it's only a 5 day dose)

@xxcxdonxx You do have serious willpower but are right to stick to the same place so you know exactly what the changes are. I really hope time goes by quickly for you 🙏

@Supertrooper101 thank you for checking in! My AF came last week and finished yesterday, so I am just looking forward to going into the next cycle now. Fingers crossed for this one 🤞🏻 I hope you are well and having a lovely day!

I think it’s more of avoidance than willpower at this stage! It would be amazing to get through these early scans like you guys did but just need to see how I get on now.

@Sez281 fingers crossed they do the job and clear the infection up for you.

@Supertrooper101 that’s rotten you’ve not been given anything, hopefully the swab the DR has taken comes back quickly and they can prescribe something for you.

My main gripe today is my OH giving me my injection this morning, he didn’t do it properly and made me bleed. Think I’ll need to be brave and do them myself now 🤣

@Sez281 its hard isnt ot to know what to do for the best. Wont you have your 16week scan soon? And that will be after the course of treatment so at least that will put your mind at ease 🙂

Think I’ll be trying that tomorrow @Supertrooper101 . You need to push it right in until the needle retracts and I think that’s scaring him and he’s pulling it out instead. All a bit grim!!

@Sez281 sorry to hear about the infection but deffo best to get it treated properly and clear everything up in there. Hope it works well and you're all cleared up asap.

@xxcxdonxx moments like that I'm glad my DH is a doc! I don't think I could manage to do the jabs myself - it just seems to go against all my instincts 😂

@xxcxdonxx am fuming with my eldest school. Sent me a message saying she hasnt turned up . Messaged her but it didnt go through and usually does. I was scared is an understatement. She messaged after awhile with a pic showing me she was there.....school....didnt even bother to ring to confirm. Rang them and she want interested in my concerns and panic attack lol still shaking now with bad forts of what could be. Sending the head an honest e mail! They shuldnt do that without being 100% sure 🤬... apart from that not heard from triage for a uti antibiotic so they clearly suck too 😂.... told my self to stop being paranoid about things and be bloody calm minded then boom that happened. Feels like a shitty game is being played on me lol annnywayyyyy
@SnookyPook as if your husband is a doctor! Dosent he reassure you and keep your aniexty at bay lol id love a dr in the family...although ad probably tell them they were wrong cos google says different 😂

@Supertrooper101 oh that's awful!! All that worry for nothing! They should be extremely apologetic!!! Hope you get a decent response from the head.

Yeah haha he trained as a graduate entry after we got together so it's a proper career change (was in IT before at HSBC!!). I got him through Med School 😂 He's currently on specialty training for GP but would you believe it, his current rotation (just started 2 weeks ago) is Obs & Gynae at my hospital!! 😂😂😩 Couldn't write it. Just glad this pregnancy seems to be working out ok or could have been really tough for him. The other day he was on the Women's Health Unit where I had to keep going back last year with my losses. I asked how his day had been and he just said "it's best I don't go into details" 😌

@SnookyPook thats crazy lol but in a way its like u having ur own gyne clinic and consultant on demand 24/7 lol yeah id probably not ask him anything about gyne work at all, may cause a few triggers so he did right not saying anything lol when r u back for ur next scan?

It's on Monday afternoon! Finally coming round a bit quicker now. I'm feeling ok about it (for now...!) just hope little man has had a decent growth spurt. If my bump is anything to go by he's certainly got bigger!!

I might be brave and try it tomorrow but I’m with you @SnookyPook , my instincts tell me not to! What a strange coincidence your dh is working there now.

I’m having a bit of a wobble today as I’ve started to get some brown spotting 🙁 I noticed tiny amounts yesterday and then a bit more today. Trying to tell myself it’s maybe just some sensitivity from the scan on Monday but difficult not to think the worst. Will see how I get on the next few days xx

@SnookyPook that has come round quick! Well if your bumps growing then thats gota be positive.....just ask ur partner to measure it and check it on the grow chart or whatever the frig it is now a days lol
@xxcxdonxx the 'safe guarding' teacher called, the head teacher had to go out. Yeah ok. He understood where i was coming from and my girl knows him well so he should follow thr with making sure it dosent happen to parents again. If your on the pessaries it could be them, or with the extra discharge some get, might be just having a clear out. Brown is good tho isnt it, isnt it meant to be old blood.

@xxcxdonxx ah bless you, it's so triggering seeing stuff like that. I agree with @Supertrooper101 brown is meant to be good as older. Also, definitely possible that the scan irritated things (was it an internal one too?). Will you ring your EPU or just brave it out? Anything like that just played on my mind so much it was impossible to ignore.

Haha yeah I said he should measure the fundal height for me, although that's notorious for being a rubbish measure isn't it 😂 Ah well, we'll see! I think the most useful thing he's able to do for me at the mo is regular BP checks (got gestational hypertension in third trimester last time and Sis had preeclampsia so it's a good one to keep an eye on!).

@xxcxdonxx ah its horrible waiting between scans, even more so with the spotting, hopefully it's just everything settling down.
@Sez281 are the antibiotics helping? Hope you're feeling better :)
@Supertrooper101 ah that's so stressful, can't believe they didn't check she definitely wasn't there before calling you! Hopefully triage will call you today, you've lost you're knack for getting what you need 🙈
@SnookyPook ah that's great your oh being a Dr, I'd be asking 100's of questions haha weird that he's now ended up in gyne. Ah not long til your next scan now then, he must have grown if bump has :)

My opk finally went to high on Sunday, think I must have missed the proper peak but I'm counting it so officially in tww, feeling OK about it as I'll either be pregnant, or AF should arrive which means everything is OK after mva and I'll have the blood tests done then too, sort of feels like a win win at this point

@xxcxdonxx Oh I'm so sorry you're having to deal with that now on top of the wait 😣 I echo what everyone else had said about brown blood being old and usually nothing to worry about but I know it's easier said than done! (It could also be irritation from the pessaries) How much longer till next scan? Can you call and ask if they'll see you a little sooner maybe? X

@Paws4thought Yay I'm so glad to hear that! At least you're finally out of limbo no matter what happens. Obviously hoping for a BFP for you but as you say if not then at least AF will show and you can get the tests. I do think it's going to happen really soon regardless 🤞 x

@Supertrooper101 oh I'd be absolutely snapping over that too! I mean the main thing is that she's ok but what are they at! 🧐Hope the stress levels didn't raise too high! I was pmsl when I read your reaction to @SnookyPook's DH I think if he was yours he'd be claiming overtime 😂

@SnookyPook I know nothing but I'd imagine a perfectly growing bump is a really good sign of growth. Fingers crossed for some more reassurance on Monday 🤞

I'm on day 3 of the meds for my infection snd definitely think I'm coming out the other side. Work has been too busy to take time off but will make the most of this weekend. I have my 16 week consultation and scan on Monday, hopefully all going well that's me done until after my holidays then in a month 🙏

Thanks ladies. Unless it gets any heavier I don’t think I’m going to call epau. I’m a bit nervous about going in earlier and then not being able to confirm how it’s looking and having to go back the following week anyway. So at the moment I’ll wait it out 😬

@SnookyPook i think its madness how they still predict the size by the size of the bump. Surley theres so much in play there..... fat, fluid, i dont know, uv other stuff in there not just the baby lol ive been having low blood pressure, they said its normal for me......that was going from my other two appointments at the M/W lol ive my own bp monitor so can test anytime but i aint getting into that yet lol
@Paws4thought tbf i rang triage and they cudnt tell me what wasnt there so i cudnt argue lol just seemed odd drs get results back same day or next and them, already at the hospital it takes 4 days 🤷‍♀️... theyve come back now and way negative in the lab aparently. Just waiting on the swab results.....but me being me, in the meantime i took a sample in to the drs lol they called earlyer and gave me antibiotics regardless lol be handy to have some spare! Thats good feeling good about ur cycle, for once there wont be that dissapointment.
