Aww I'm sorry to hear that you're in the shit anniversary zone. It's so hard not to replay what happened in those hours and days 😢. And it's even stranger now being in the position we are. Allow yourself to be sad, hopefully when it passes you feel a sense of peace and be able to move forward while also not forgetting x

I know, who forgets their scan pic! I think the consultant flustered me a bit, one day I won't fear her 😂 My nausea has become less frequent, don't know if it's the meds she gave me or the fact that I'm 13+2 today. I decided to stop taking fybogel or lactolose and of course I was crippled again so I think I have to continue taking it every day until god knows when! The joys! 🙈😂

Oh @SnookyPook you poor thing being in that in between limbo of movements. I don't have any experience but I'm sure that's quite normal for your dates? I'm going to have to remind myself of this when I no doubt start spiralling in a few weeks 🤯 I hope they get more frequent and more defined for you soon xx

@Jadeypie oh ffs 8 days and it's only just proper started. That's such a pain! I'm glad to hear that you're back to the endocrinologist in May but agree that you should definitely get it all logged with the GP next week too. Hope you get some answers soon xx

That first section is as meant for you @Supertrooper101 which I'm sure you gathered but just in case!

@JM1997 oh we have all been there countless of times with the testing haha! If it helps you get through the waiting game then order some cheap ones off Amazon xx

Jadeypie · 06/04/2024 10:33

@Sez281 I know I was only off for 12 days before it started again how is there even enough lining to shed away?? Anyway I'll be taking the @Supertrooper101 approach and be demanding I need answers for my crazy hormones haha xx

😂 we all need a bit of the @Supertrooper101take no shit approach! 💪 hopefully something just needs a little tweaking like meds etc and it will all get sorted soon because 12 days between is so awful. It only happened to me once, I'd go crazy if it was all the time 🤯 keep us updated x

JM1997 · 06/04/2024 10:54

@Jadeypie that is such a good idea! I’ll do that and order some off Amazon, as I currently have ones from my pharmacy just down the road they were clear blue and cost bloody £17.00 for two!! I can’t be affording that every time!!

Westy22 · 06/04/2024 11:03

Trying to catch up so I'll read through soon guys ha 🙈

Having a right wobble today, weirdly very similar to you @Supertrooper101 I think I've triggered it last night after realising that it was the 11th April when I found I was pregnant last year, then I started over analysing myself and symptoms again...my bowels seem to have calmed right down and slowly feel like there going normal again and nausea is still very sparse, the only change this week is my boobs have started aching a bit again and im still super hungry. Hopefully I'll drag myself out of this mood and the midwife will reassure me a bit on Tuesday - as if I'm moaning for so far having a relatively easy first trimester 🙈🙈

Supertrooper101 · 06/04/2024 13:55

@SnookyPook yeah i know what you mean...you dont realise just how many milestones there are tbh...did they mention where your placenta is? That can make a big difference as to how much movement you feel as if its at the front, in theory your babys kicking that not you lol
@Jadeypie defo take some of me with you lol
@Westy22 dont get your hopes up to much with the midwifes, some can be, erm, just there, but not there lol your nausea mite be calm cos your eating loads, eating helps it so you could be easying it without even realising lol
@JM1997 17 for 2 lol sod that....follow the cheap route of amazon lol

SnookyPook · 06/04/2024 14:33

@Supertrooper101 sadly can't comfort myself with that as placenta is perfectly positioned - posterior and high up!! I'm sitting here currently getting lots of little kicks and bops after a big lunch so feeling lots better! - think they've enjoyed the food 😂

@JM1997 deffo Amazon cheapies! You get about 50 for £6 😂

xxcxdonxx · 06/04/2024 15:32

Thanks @Jadeypie 🥰
oh I’m sorry, that’s horrible only having 12 days ‘off’ inbetween, it must take a bit of a toll on you physically too.
Hopefully you can get somewhere with your gp this week 🤞🏻

JM1997 · 06/04/2024 18:20

@Supertrooper101 I will absolutely be checking out the Amazon one I couldn’t believe the price, it actually hurt handing my card!!

Hankthehonk · 06/04/2024 22:15

Thanks for tag @SnookyPook - yes it was me who had a crazy long cycle, second cycle after my loss @Paws4thought. I just kept taking opks even though I felt so confused and frustrated with my body, and peak came out of nowhere on day 40-something...and I got pregnant with my baby who is now 8 weeks old.

I haven't been on mumsnet so much recently but do occasionally skim the thread to see how everyone's doing. It's hard to keep up but so happy for @Sez281 @SnookyPook @Supertrooper101 and @Westy22 that your pregnancies are continuing well, and so much exciting news recently finding out the sex of some of your babies!

I'm happy and exhausted in the chaos of two child life, still have moments when I can't believe the wee man is really here. He's growing like mad, the time is passing so much more quickly this time around.

Sending a hug and some good old baby dust to those of you still ttc xxx

Paws4thought · 07/04/2024 08:49

@Hankthehonk I'm on day 20.... day 40 something is a long way away 🙈🙈 hopefully I'll have your luck if it does take so long!

Westy22 · 07/04/2024 12:25

Just caught up guys

Welcome @JM1997 I'd be lost without these ladies! Can't remember any signs before my bfp...think I was just obsessively early testing and got faint lines from 8dpo (still convinced my dates will be ahead based on that) good luck tho, the only thing we did differently this time was literally dtd every other day from CD6 to CD16 and I caught it somewhere 🤣 I also took maca and used preseed x good luck 💕

Definitely go in with a load of @Supertrooper101 strength @Jadeypie they need to figure out what's going on. Hoping you get some answers soon 🙏

Glad you've started feeling some good movements @SnookyPook must feel so good 💓your flying through your pregnancy!

@Sez281 glad the nausea has slowed down for you, isn't it mental that your trying to stop yours and I'm over here wishing for it 🤣🤣 good luck with the scan on Tuesday, I've decided if my scan date is more like 13/14 weeks I'll book a private one for nearer 12 just to check in as the anxiety is growing.

@Supertrooper101 maybe your right, my appetite has grown lol I'm obsessed with cereal atm then have porridge mid morning then start twitching for my lunch a couple of hours later...dread to think what I weigh 🙈 I hope my midwife app is a good one I'll be dissapointed if they don't give me a good vibe 🤣 hope your okay x

Ladies have you continued with all pregnancy vits/folic after 12 weeks? I've read the folate isn't necessary.

Got over my little phobia of dtd 🤣🤣 dunno why but I just didn't want to, it's been like 7 weeks and felt like it was so obvious how much I've clearly used him ttc so I give in 🤣🤣 I'd started dreaming about it so even my brain was like bloody do it 🤣🤣🙈 poor OH.

@Paws4thought I'd prepare for a long cycle 🙈 I didn't get AF for 8 weeks last time. I don't think we really tried though whilst I was waiting and i didnt really use OPK, don't think I was in the right zone for it. But @Hankthehonk obviously proves it can happen during that time 🙏 wishing you all the luck 💓

@xxcxdonxx how are you? Xx

JM1997 · 07/04/2024 13:15

@Westy22 thank you so much for the welcome! What is DTD?? Thank you for the tips as well I really appreciate it! I’ll let you know how I get on I’m due on the 11th but just seem to be getting really bad cramps at the moment!

Westy22 · 07/04/2024 13:16

@JM1997 doing the deed lol 🙈 x

JM1997 · 07/04/2024 13:18

@Westy22 thank you for letting me know what it means!! Love that acronym I will 100% try that next time if I’m out!! I use Flo, so it shows me when I’m most fertile, fingers crossed!!

xxcxdonxx · 07/04/2024 15:48

How many weeks are you now @Westy22 , you guys are all such similar timings I can’t keep track!

Laughed at your comment, I don’t know what it’s like to dtd these days without TTC in mind 🙄

I’m ok thanks, starting to get nervous though about next steps etc. I’ve convinced myself that being on this progesterone is going to mask a mc. I know I can only confirm that with going for a scan but it fills me with dread. I also really don’t want to be in the position where they can’t be sure and tell me to come back 1/2 weeks later. That happened last time and it was an awful wait 😫

Westy22 · 07/04/2024 16:21

I'm 9+4 today 🙏

Ah it's awful the first time round i had to do that and they ended up measuring hcg to see what that was doing which i became obsessed with, how long are you going to wait till you get scanned? I was 5+4 this time and literally held my breath for what felt like a lifetime whilst they checked things. I'm crossing everything for you xx

xxcxdonxx · 07/04/2024 21:49

Thanks @Westy22, it’s such a horrible
process. I called epau on Friday for an appointment but the process is to leave a message and someone calls you back so I’m hoping that’s tomorrow to arrange a scan. I’ll be 6 weeks on Thurs so I’m not sure if they’ll say it’s too early to be sure or not.

Almost 10 weeks 🥹 I know you’ll naturally still have some worry but it hopefully feels like you are entering a more reassuring space now xx

Sez281 · 07/04/2024 23:40

@xxcxdonxx ugh the dreaded 1st scan wait is the worst. I was in a similar position to you and was torn about whether to go or not. I think I was 5+2 when then confirmed the sac was there and I knew not to expect anything else until the 6+ mark but it's still like the tww on steroids 😣 Hopefully you'll get a call with a plan tomorrow 🙏
In relation to the progesterone my midwife told me that it won't mask a miscarriage so try not to worry about that side of things too much xx

@Westy22 I lol'd at the dtd comment too. To be honest if I was physically able I would but it's literally the last thing I could think about it 🙈 I do feel bad as we dtd when ttc no matter what, but he has been very understanding about how crap I feel (it helps that he bought a book and it pretty much tells them not to expect it) I might surprise him when I'm feeling up to it though 🙏😂

Paws4thought · 08/04/2024 09:58

@Westy22 did you have mva when it took 8 weeks for period to return? I'm only 3 weeks since second one so potentially long way to go, did you check in with Dr about time scale or just wait? Can't believe you're 10 weeks, that's gone so quickly! Are you going to book a private scan?
@SnookyPook hope the movements get more consistent, do you have anymore appt coming up?
@Sez281 oh no, do you have to wait til next scan for a pic now? Glad you're feeling less nauseous!
@Supertrooper101 how many weeks are you now? I can't keep up 🙈 hopefully this pregnancy will make the anniversary of mc/due date easier to manage.
@Jadeypie hope you get some answers from gp, I always get fobbed off, need @Supertrooper101 on loud speaker haha.
@xxcxdonxx hope epu get back to you quickly, I agree about not wanting to do the week waiting after a scan to see progress think I'd rather just wait slightly longer for first one.
@JM1997 welcome! Hope tww is going quickly for you :)
@Hankthehonk it doesn't seem like 8 weeks since you had your little one, hope you're enjoying every moment, is your eldest happy with little brother?

Sorry if I've missed anyone, these threads fill so quickly!

JM1997 · 08/04/2024 10:10

@Paws4thought thank you so much for the welcome!! Honestly it feels like I’ve been waiting for ages to get to the week of when I’m due, I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed though that it doesn’t come!! 🤞🏻

Westy22 · 08/04/2024 10:13

@Paws4thought no it was natural as I'd already started bleeding so decided to wait it out. I reckon I was only 5+ weeks development wise so very early too but it took forever for my hormone to drop, think it was 6 weeks later I was still showing a small level of hcg. I rang epu and had a blood test to check levels and it was like 8 , they repeated and it dropped again so they were happy. My doctor was useless x

My anxiety is ramping up atm, midwife tomorrow, if I don't get a 12 week scan date that's relatively soon I'll probably book a private scan for the next few days, the wait is driving me insane. X

xxcxdonxx · 08/04/2024 10:49

Thanks @Sez281 thats good to know. I think at this point I’d be more surprised that it all worked out rather than not. Still not heard from epau, I’ll
give it till lunch time I think and call them
back.
I can’t keep up of where everyone is either @Paws4thought 😅
