Yes all is fine Thankyou. How’s your journey

shoegirl36 · 25/05/2024 14:48

@Panda101x it's been a bit of a crazy few weeks. Been referred to a gynae fertility clinic, my gp has run bloods which show slightly high testosterone but nothing to worry about and my cd21 test result was at 27 when 30 confirms ovulation so not too far off but the day I went for the blood wasn't the day it should have been so that result is open to interpretation. How's your journey going?

Does sound it glad u have a referal tho. Hope it’s a quick wait also :) And I came off for recovery time as wasn’t trying anymore for a bit

shoegirl36 · 25/05/2024 20:33

@Panda101x sometimes the break is the best thing, abit of a reset and shift of focus. I hope you're feeling refreshed and ready for whatever you plan next x

Decided to re speak to gp. You kind of gave me the push I guess. Booked my two sets of bloods the day 21 and the 1-5 one. And got my scan booked for few weeks time. Re doing partners sperm count just encase of changes in meantime and then we’re go to the fertility clinic all being well in few months time on the nhs. It’s just been scary and a huge fear to start again and I just wanted time to not worry if you know what I mean. I feel much stronger now and more mentally prepared and want to try do things the right way now and with support as I can’t take anymore where I feel usupportive and alone

shoegirl36 · 03/06/2024 22:05

@Panda101x as long as you are comfortable and feel supported then go with it. I do believe what's meant to be won't pass us by but I also believe that we have to make these opportunities for ourselves also. Please keep me posted on the process with the gp and fertility clinic. My partners sperm analysis is Wednesday so a long wait for the results from that pending I guess. And I'm still waiting for an appointment from the gynae fertility clinic for more checks for me.

Very wise words. I agree with them also. Hoping your appointment comes quickly and the sperm results should be quick. Never known it not to be. I just have a form and pot drop it off to the hospital lab when suits and normally five days till results emailed. Hope ur the same. Maybe they won’t give the appointment till all is done and filed in like a report

shoegirl36 · 04/06/2024 10:45

@Panda101x thank you... I'm hoping that it won't be too long, if it's a couple of weeks that would be good but even if it's a day I know I'm going to be anxious.. I just take every day as it comes at the moment, I'm learning to be about more patient as I've got so much other stuff going on too.. just trying to find a balance with everything x

Had my bloods done. I’ve very high prolactin and been told may have a tumour on pituitary glandso referred for mri :(

rather scared even tho it can be reduced and shrunk and harmless ie not causing death. It alters alot of other things. Just feel very upset

shoegirl36 · 19/06/2024 16:36

@Panda101x omg I'm so sorry to hear this.. any kind of tumour is scary so I can understand being scared and it's completely normal to be. I had something similar years ago with a gland so understand the worry. Ahh I wish there was something I can say or do to help. Make sure you look after yourself and just take one thing at a time. How does this affect your fertility journey if you don't mind me asking? Sending loads of hugs xx

Clinic won’t accept me till I get the level lower. Cant get the treatment to do that as nhs a year wait for specialist first apt. Then need least six month of it stable before they accept me. So probs looking two years. Then by then my endometriosis might’ve grown back and I’ll need scan and bloods again which have taken a couple months. I’m looking at estimate three three half years before I’ll walk through the fertility clinic doors I’ve been told. So now I’m just trying to come to terms with It it all and probs won’t get anywhere before 30. Just have to pray for a miracle and it sticks to then avoid it all.

shoegirl36 · 20/06/2024 11:42

@Panda101x wow that's intense but to try and be positive at least you know this time frame and you're not guessing with most of it, you can mentally prepare yourself instead of not knowing and waiting in limbo indefinitely. I know there's not really a bright side to any of this. Just really concentrate on taking care of yourself and let whatever comes your way meet the strongest version of you. I'm turning 30 this year and if you'd have asked me years ago I'd have said that's too old for me to be a first time mum, always wanted kids and marriage by 25 but one thing I've learned is I was never truly ready until now for the whole process of children and clinics etc. What's meant for you won't pass you by 🥰

Lowered the level naturally myself so accepted. Panic over. :)

@Panda101x well that's amazing news. So glad you were able to take control over it all. Still abit mad for me here, cd63 no sign of period, negative pregnancy tests now and all blood test levels normal aside from fractionally high testosterone. Don't know what's going on with me at all. I want to ask my GP to send me for an ultrasound to see what's going on inside. I'm so so happy for you again. Hopefully it's a big step in the right direction for getting everything you want x

shoegirl36 · 08/07/2024 14:48

@Panda101x it's crazy my head is going round and round. I had a faint line on a clear blue but then had a blood test that said my hcg was not pregnant levels, they've resent me for another test this Thursday (2 weeks later) to see if it increases which is highly unlikely. But now I'm worried that something is wrong because for the last year and a half I've had no cycles longer than around 30 days so for it to be double and abit more I'm so worried. Tried inducing a bleed with Norethisterone but no bleed came so now I'm doing to opposite and taking letrozole to try and induce an egg release so that one way or another I'll bleed and can start again. Also got a doctors appointment today to see if she will refer me for an internal scan to see what's what and also chase up my referral to gynaecology because it's been around 2 months now and I haven't even got an initial appointment date yet. I'm stressed so badly which probably isn't helping all the while my partner is adamant I'm pregnant because he see a positive clearblue and some hcg present in my bloods albeit not at a high level.

Panda101x · 08/07/2024 15:07

Completely get you. I had positives in past clear blue. Tiny hcg and that stayed for ages. Had to have a scan which sadly for me was a blighted ovum so no baby but hence the hcg. And no period.

are them medications safe encase you are pregnant. I’d be getting a private scan done asap if your Able to rule out anything sinister due to the hcg. Really keeping fingers crossed for u.

Have they mentioned chemical ? I hope ur ok x

Someone in my family also had hcg as they had an ovarian tumour and didn’t get cycle as didn’t ovulate due to it so no period suddenly. Do push for a scan x

shoegirl36 · 08/07/2024 15:14

@Panda101x just got off the phone with the doctor she has sent me for an internal ultrasound to have a look, my last one was 2022 but was perfect health in appearance. I did say to her about my concerns over cycle length and mixed results on pregnancy tests. She doesn't believe I'm pregnant but says really all I can do is what I'm doing and wait until the referral to gynae comes through. She basically told me to constantly phone them until they give me my appointment. I did say like imagine being regular for 2 years then now being cd66 or something like that, having mixed results on hcg tests and what happens if my internal is clear again and my blood results came back healthy, then there's no logical explanation as to what's going on and why I can't fall pregnant, it's kind of urgent to me to be seen by a clinician. She did agree which was good I guess but she said her hands are tied because she's already done the referral. She said it definitely seems hormone related but I don't know how we can investigate this further. Plus my partners sperm analysis came back with a low count and low motility so we also have that to deal with which is proving difficult as my partner isn't doing much budging when it comes to lifestyle habits. Ahhhhhh I'm driving myself mad lol
