Let's keep each other sane during the next two weeks.

Like @Panda101x I'm 1dpo today. Cycle 8 for us now.
I already have one DC conceived in 2021, born in 22 who took us 6 cycles to conceive. I had an ectopic last summer (1st cycle TTC) and had the tube and a large cyst removed. Cyst has come back already. This month I ovulated from the side with the tube and the cyst (I get ovulation pains), I've only ovulated once from that side since the ectopic.

Hi. I’ve no idea what cycle number I’m on been four years. Still nothing. I hope this months our months

@Panda101x and when I did my tests the morning I had the faintest (think it could be an evap) on my hcg test. I tested just because I think I could have ovulated earlier than the app thinks.

What type of test was it

shoegirl36 · 12/02/2024 17:54

@Panda101x a pregnancy test, I believe it was an easy at home brand test and I've never had a false line or evap on them before

Panda101x · 12/02/2024 17:56

Ok I only ever trust the frer ones as had so many false positives and issues with others but if u never had any before then fingers crossed

shoegirl36 · 12/02/2024 17:57

I'm not going to get too excited as I said I do think it's only an evap line as it's so faint but I still will live in hope that my little miracle has finally come along.

Yes re test again I always did better first wee of day. And from when my period was due I never got anything beforehand. I have gotten to 11 weeks before and with all six pregnancies I never got positives before the due on day

shoegirl36 · 12/02/2024 18:01

I'm going to test again in a few days, I don't know when my period is ever due as I have an irregular cycle so I never know when I'm really late. The time I had a miscarriage I only found out as abit of a joke. I was going to start a medication that you couldn't be pregnant taking and I was late as per but I took a test anyway and yep pregnant.

Ah I see. I’m quite regular luckily. And yes I booked centreparcs and whilst there I found I was pregnant and was like oh no can’t do things now haha typical. My partner made me test as he guessed and I didn’t have a clue haha

shoegirl36 · 12/02/2024 20:49

@Panda101x what was it that your partner had guessed? Like what were the signs?

We went to the swimming I put bikini on and he just looked at me and I kept saying what what and eventually he said your boobs are bigger and your skins clearer you’re pregnant and j was like woah errgh ok. And then after luckily they have them onsite in the shop haha I did one and yep he was right.

We then got to ten weeks but I sadly lost it :(

@Panda101x that's wonderful, I love that he knows you so well. They do say sometimes partners know before we do but it's so lovely to think they've paid that much attention to us to really know x

It really was. He is very involved and clued in with everything. Even tho he works full time he knows me perfectly all the time.

shoegirl36 · 12/02/2024 21:07

@Panda101x that really does warm my heart x

It is lovely. He even said he will do fertility reflexology if I want him to and come to sessions and learn more. We’re see how it goes and his semen analysis results but he’s doing all he can aswell diet wise. Cut out certain things. Exercise. Not tight pants etc etc

Panda101x · 12/02/2024 21:13

@shoegirl36 is your partner doing anything to help

shoegirl36 · 12/02/2024 21:14

My partner is really good too. He has listened massively to what I need from him throughout all this and he's acting on it without hesitation really. He's not so hands on when it comes to testing and timing of things and especially medication but I knew that this wasn't him and accepted that and was okay with that. Then for Christmas he gave me a sneak peak gift and he gave me a sperm analysis test. Sounds so weird I know but we weren't actively trying before Christmas as he said he wasn't ready though we were never careful, so by giving me the test he sort of said that he's ready, he'll check he's all good to go and I've even managed to get him to take a men's fertility supplement every night.

Panda101x · 12/02/2024 21:20

That’s good to hear

shoegirl36 · 12/02/2024 21:21

Plus he's also agreed to go to a doctor with me when the time comes and be put through all the poking and prodding at the fertility clinic. For a lot of men there just little things ie cutting down and sperm tests but for him these are huge and I really do appreciate him doing them. Makes me feel like we're really on the path together x

Yes mine said the same. We have a saving pot for it but I said I’d want to have enough for a few rounds before we start so if first doesn’t work I don’t have to stress off not having money for another and Having to wait ages again as that would be to upsetting for me. Nhs won’t fund me yet

shoegirl36 · 12/02/2024 21:44

@Panda101x yea I know what you mean, it's almost like battling against the body clock though. Sometimes I feel like days quickly turn into weeks and weeks into months then I'll be too old for it unfortunately. Such a fine balance of not stressing but stressing about things enough to make them happen

OP posts:
Panda101x · 13/02/2024 07:23

luckily for me I’ve noticed all my issues quite young so I’ve time on my side. I’m glad I didn’t wait

shoegirl36 · 13/02/2024 08:51

That's good really, means you don't have to do anything in a rush
