I'm pretty lucky with my body that it reacts to medication very quickly. I think three months is a sensible amount of time for me.

shoegirl36 · 22/02/2024 10:49

If there's one thing I know it's that charts can be as random as anything and aren't a guaranteed result.

glad to hear it. How’s the journey going

shoegirl36 · 20/03/2024 17:12

@Panda101x it's been a strange few days. I was told I was misdiagnosed with PCOS and I just have a hormone imbalance but it also means I've been treating the wrong condition for around 10 years. My Gp has sent me for blood tests on cd 2 and 21 but I was supposed to have a period last week but only bled a tiny bit for 1 day. Tested hcg but negative unfortunately. Doctor also said to start losing weight so I've kind of put TTC on hold while I use Semaglutide and I'm down 9lbs this week and only been using it 1 week. She did say after reviewing my scans and test results she doesn't see why I won't fall pregnant naturally. Promising to hear I guess but then I'm kind of like it should have happened by now then. Partner also going to go for sperm analysis in May so getting the fertility ball well and truly rolling. Just hoping ivf isn't needed as I don't qualify on the nhs as he has two children from a relationship 10 years ago.

@Panda101x where are you with everything now?

OP posts:
Panda101x · 20/03/2024 17:32

Won’t be trying again till may time as wanted to rest. But had all clear. All fine and recovered. I just wanted time. Getting back into more hobbies and adopted two little boy lambs that I’m bottle feeding to keep on our grounds which is a lovely distraction and joy to have in the family. :)

just carrying on with my supplements. My charting so I notice anything that could flag my endo so I know when to act and have documentation for future if needed. And I’ve changed some foods to get healthier now aswell and I actually feel it’s helped so so much.

Panda101x · 20/03/2024 17:32

That’s not great with your misdiagnosis but hopefully means a quick fix for you now you know what to do :)

shoegirl36 · 20/03/2024 18:03

@Panda101x awww two bubba lambs how adorable. That must be so wonderful. Something I've always wanted to do was feed baby animals. Definitely an animal woman aha. Maybe the stress free approach of TTC would work, so many times couples say they fell pregnant after they stopped trying for a while. Even if it doesn't happen I'm sure your body would appreciate the relaxation from the constant stress. I know my body is feeling different after shifting my focus from TTC to weight loss. Keeping everything crossed for us both x

Thankyou after yet another loss. My grandad soon after passed away. Theres been way too much stress. So I’ve been going to reflexology and just doing what I want to do and putting me first in things. I needed me time. Started studying again and using our other room as a me room for hobbies. and yes huge animal lover. Ex vet nurse here !

I do hope the meds work for u and the new found approach takes a positive note

shoegirl36 · 20/03/2024 18:10

@Panda101x I'm so sorry for your loss. Me time is never a bad things. I'm pretty lucky as my partner is his own business owner so I don't have to work so day times I really do get to relax and do the things I want to do. Aww that's cute. I was looking into vet school when I was younger but unfortunately it was never something that came to fruition. I love going in and around Kent, I was always there when I was younger visiting all the farms and farmers who used to do open days come the springtime with the baby animals. Absolutely love it.

I’m also Kent ! Did young farmers too. Got lucky vet nursing didn’t need to pay anything as started when I was 17. So free for me as started under 18 tuition was paid and I did get full income for age not apprenticeship and learning via nursing school for three years whilst in full time role at vets. Hard work but great rewards. Only left as developed a disability with my arm and hand and couldn’t do what I wanted anymore sadly.

shoegirl36 · 20/03/2024 19:13

@Panda101x omg that's crazy, part of my stopping work was due to disability also. Long story short I was attacked then diagnosed later on with fibromyalgia and spinal disc disease. So lucky my partner is the godsend he is. Would you mind me asking which part of Kent? I've explored most of it but we base ourselves near Deal/Walmer/Dover. Who knows we could have crossed paths and never known each other aha. What a skill set to have and to be properly rewarded for your talent at even such a young age is great.
