1 DPO TTC 1st - company for the TWW?

Hi all, my partner and I have been trying for a while with no success (+1 year). About to start fertility tests. I am on cycle day 16 and had a positive ovulation (LH surge) test 2 days ago so think i'm 1 DPO. DTD yesterday and two and three days before test. Hoping this will be the month.

We've also both started taking pre conception vitamins, which includes vit D and folic acid for me. I really struggle with sympton spotting and i'm going to try and relax this month.

Would love to connect with some people in the same spot/keep us all sane during the TWW!

So test I took using window light to show the difference in my test. The one from yesterday and today, one from seems to have a very faint line where as todays is completely blank. Think I got an indent line on the first one annoyingly.

I decided am going to wait now till either I get AF or till it’s at least Friday. As I said had some brown this morning but that seems to have gone as well. Keep thinking my AF coming but nothing is.

I believe my AF has started so on to the next cycle. At least it shows that my luteal phase can be longer than I thought. Kind of gutted, must be this bug I got that’s caused the sickness. At least I can move forward to the next cycle.

@shoto2024 i think that's a good idea, at least then you'll know either way! do you usually spot before AF starts?

I'm currently on cycle day 28 and no spotting which i usually get before AF, i do think those vitamins i took for 5 days have delayed my cycle though! As i have no other symptoms apart from slightly tender boobs! As i said before the nausea was from the folic acid i think....

why do our bodies have to trick us so much!

Yep, my periods recently have been really light and not very heavy, so I take any small amount as my period as long as it’s they consistently which indicates flow. Rather than last couples of days which has been odd spots here and there. Really thought this was our cycle, got our timing bang on. Do wonder if the meds my husband on are impacting his sperm quantity and quality. One more cycle of trying and than to docs I think for test as am 35

9dpo and still bfn, I also feel like im getting my usual PMS systems (hopelessness and depression - yay to being a woman). Think I’m also out!

Fingers crossed for you! You never know until AF. I feel like PMS symptoms would be the same if it’s due to the rise of hormones? Xx

@Hannahttcjourney nothing since the spotting last night which is strange - I usually have brown CM the day before full flow (sorry for the TMI) but just had a bit of pink/red stretchy CM last night and nothing since. Lots of twinges and cramps though so who knows. Here's my test from this morning 🤦🏻‍♀️ xxx

I still have nothing myself at CD28. I’d just like to know now!

@Hannahttcjourney Going off my cycle I'm 11dpo I think but not 100% sure. I thought a saw a line on this cheapie but BFN on CB digital ☹️ This whole thing is so frustrating isn't it xxx

I had quite a few cramps today so expecting AF. I'll test this evening but not expecting anything. It's so strange how wet get our hopes up then manage to convince ourselves there's no chance. All in the space of two weeks 🤣

Okay ladies I am 99% sure I have two VVFLs on cheapie tests. Top one was taken earlier so has dried out, bottom one taken just now - both lines appeared within the timeframe 🥴🥴 Very difficult to get on camera as they're so faint but here's the pic xx

Been lurking here and really enjoying how supportive everyone is.
Felt a bit off the last few days - but my natural cycles changed my ovulation day from day 18 to 24 (wtf?!) so was sure I was out for the month…
But can anyone see a vvvfl on the bottom test? Compared with a dried out one from this morning… much like you @tryforbabynumber2 I think I see something faint on yours, what do you think about mine? Added one with flash too.

Bloody hell. I hoped it wasn’t just me!
I’m 10DPO going by OPKs and symptoms and on CD 29 (I range from 27-32)… but going by natural cycles only 6DPO - they’re also now predicting my cycle to be 35 days?!
How likely is this to be an evaporation line? I’m quite new at all of this 🤔

I'm getting faint lines on all my cheapie tests now so it's either a bad batch of tests or I'm pregnant 🙊🙊🙊

@tryforbabynumber2 same, unless we are both super unlucky! Are you late? I'm going to take another later but thinking I should take a FRER. How likely are these to be evaps?!

@LCJar No I'm not late yet, AF due on Saturday 😬 I've got some FRER and Clearblue coming today so might check with one of those. Fingers crossed for us both xxx

CD29 today and have woken up to some spotting :( thats me out then, have mild cramping too so AF definitely starting. what a rollercoaster. I don't think we're going to try again for a few months now as I'm debating starting a new job! we'll see..... fingers crossed for the rest of you ladies xx
