1 DPO TTC 1st - company for the TWW?

Hi all, my partner and I have been trying for a while with no success (+1 year). About to start fertility tests. I am on cycle day 16 and had a positive ovulation (LH surge) test 2 days ago so think i'm 1 DPO. DTD yesterday and two and three days before test. Hoping this will be the month.

We've also both started taking pre conception vitamins, which includes vit D and folic acid for me. I really struggle with sympton spotting and i'm going to try and relax this month.

Would love to connect with some people in the same spot/keep us all sane during the TWW!

Eeekk. I'm not 100% sure as I didn't do consistent OPKs as we were away but maybe 8/9 DPO xxx

@tryforbabynumber2 that looks very thin to be an actual line. Unfortunately I would say it’s probably an evap

7DPO and have had quite a few symptoms but they must all be in my head!
Stupidly did a test today (I know it's far too early) and was of course negative!

Heya I want to join the chat and the tww! This is my first post on Mumsnet as well, it's a bit exciting.

I got a positive ovulation test result today, went straight up to my husband and asked him for a shag, he rolled his eyes and said are you ovulating 😂 we DTD though so I let him off the cheek

This is only my 4th cycle since having a baby and breastfeeding so I'm not sure how that will affect my chances, but we've been regularly DTD and haven't got pregnant yet. Hoping for a little brother or sister 😍

@shoto2024 how are you today?? 10 dpo for me. Had a couple of bits of nausea but think it’s just all in my head!

Had a couple of bits of nausea Friday which I thought was in my head, yesterday was feeling it all day. Still feeling it today, I don’t usually get nausea as a pms. Just been feeling a bit bluergh last day or so. My breast have been ache rather than sore last couple of days. 10dpo today, won’t test until 12 dpo or 13dpo as due my AF tomorrow as that’s normal length of my luteal phase.

Gosh I’m the same. Why are our bodies tricking us like this! I just feel it’s all in my head. The opposite of a placebo affect 😂

My AF is due 14th, will know in a day or 2 if it’s coming as I’ll get all the usual signs (a bit of cramping and spotting)

it’s been easier over the weekend to be fair. Weekdays I’m too much sat at a computer googling and reading instead of working haha. At least won’t have long to wait tomorrow!

Yea normally I get a little cramping, day or 2 before which I haven’t had. My AF always starts with spotting, that’s gets heavier, so if I get that either today or tomorrow, I will known am out for this cycle. If I don’t get anything, than it’s going to be hard to hold off from testing. I don’t think the nausea in my head now as yesterday had it all day, walking around shopping centre and rest of yesterday. Thought it had gone but soon as I got up, I notice it again. Hasn’t stopped me eating but definitely want less sweet food over savoury. Definitely sweet food makes me feeling more nauseated than savoury.
So really not sure whether am just unwell due to some bug or food poisoning but haven’t had D or V. So don’t think it’s a bug.
It’s been hard not to test.

@Hannahttcjourney I've tested this morning and looks negative to me! I'm still only about 9-10dpo though so still very early. Feeling very nauseous this morning and some more light cramping. AF due in 5 days xx

@shoto2024 @Hannahttcjourney same! Massively symptom spotting and getting very impatient here. Have had cramps over the last couple of days and today I'm so hungry, can't stop eating! I know this could just be classic pms/luteal phase symptoms but had a HyCosy this month so feeling hopeful. AF not due until next Friday so feels too early for symptoms. Will test tomorrow with FMU. I'm sure it will be negative, I've never had a BFP in the ten cycles of trying, and yet I regularly convince myself this might be the cycle! Why do I do this to myself!

Today is 7 straight days of cramping (AF only due in 5 days). This is very unusual for me, unless my cycle is messed up this month?!

My AF is due today, not shown up so far but still earlier and could come on later. Still have tender ache breast and nausea which hasn’t gone away. Don’t normally still have breast discomfort when due on. Which is something, very anxious currently as don’t want AF to show. Haven’t had my normal cramps that indicate it coming on. As last cycle has cramps in evening just over a day before I came on.

I do find my symptoms usually for me as I don’t get nausea as a pms symptom and had this last couple of days. My breast discomfort is different from my normal pms symptom. So again not sure. Won’t test yet as still earlier on at 11 dpo today. All my previous cycles I get AF at this point, so if I get past it. It gives me a lot of hope. Either testing at 12 dpo tomorrow or trying to hold off until 13 dpo Valentine’s Day. Ideally that’s when I want to hold of until. If I am pregnant want to give my husband the news that evening. Flo says not to test until Friday but doubt I’ll be able to hold out until that point.

literally panicked earlier thinking I got my af, had a couples spots of blood when I wiped. Thought I was out as always start with spotting. It’s since gone completely. So either just a spot of implantation bleed or a bleed from my bladder as have a bladder conditions that occasionally causing bleeding or will get more later and af will beginning. Still got sore breast and a little nasusea. Normally breast I gone by this point

@shoto2024 oh i bet that was nerve wracking!! Hopefully not a slow start to AF? keep us posted.

I've been nauseous on and off the last couple of days which i never normally get, but i do also have a little bit of cramping - so who knows. My app is saying AF is due Friday which I feel is late! I'm normally 28 days which would make it Wednesday.....i guess i'll wait till the weekend to see if it turns up!

@tryforbabynumber2 that is strange. I tend to get mild cramps on and off a few days before AF but not for 7 days! Have you done another test??

@CatmumTTC how are you feeling today?? Any more symptoms? I'm exactly the same, convinced and checking every way possible and then AF comes....I feel oddly ok today, it's exhausting obsessing over it isn't it! Sending luck your way!

At the moment, no sign of AF which is positive based of length of time. So think it might be my bladder as have had a lot of pain from it. No more spotting either, so keeping my fingers crossed. Hoping nothing appears.

I think AF due around the same time as you, app says friday so will wait till then i suppose! I'm actually not tempted to do a test before then, not sure why!

I tested today and negative - only 7dpo though. I’m in totally two minds as to what I want the results to be, I don’t think we’ll try again (as DH will be being made redundant). Logically I know it doesn’t make sense to try again if this is neg, I need to concentrate on my career and making more money 😂and DH concentrate on his future career, but also a massive part of me still wants another baby. So conflicted.
I’ve been symptom spotting like mad. Feel like I’ve got a massively strong sense of smell right now! 🙃

@Chairwoman Such a difficult decision! 😩 I suppose what's meant to be will be and all that, but doesn't make it any easier. Do you think you'd be happy with a BFP if it happened this time? Xxx

@Hannahttcjourney I go through phases where I test and most cycles I don't bother. This is definitely a testing cycle! Did a cheapie this morning, BFN. But 10DPO so could still be too early. I'll try wait now until Thursday I think.

Cramping seems to have gone today but I'm definitely exhausted, like I'm coming down with something. Went to bed at 9 last night! But I always feel pretty shattered in my luteal phase so that's not unusual.

I just want to know either way! We've got to make some decisions soon about fertility treatment and part of me is holding on to this hope that I can do it naturally 🥲

Think it was just implantation bleeding as had a little pink on wiping this afternoon but that also went away as well which is completely unlike my the spotting I get for AF which is continuous spotting small amounts and usually has clots and than goes into flow over a day or 2. This is furthest I got times wise without having that. I also heard implantation bleeding doesn’t happen straight away after implantation can take a few days to a week after. So keeping my fingers crossed, going to hold of on the testing for a day or 2 just to be sure. So much of today I thought AF was coming but it hasn’t.
