Looking for fellow mums to be starting their TTC journey :)

I’m officially starting this cycle (currently CD6). Last night was the first time without any contraception (v early but hoping to continue all throughout fertile period). Not gonna lie it felt very strange now the actual TTC has started!

But very excited and wanting to hear from people on this journey too!

Anyone else get really bloated around ov? Not much EWCM today (had some Sunday and yesterday) but bloating so much today. To the point where it’s uncomfortable.

looking back at my apps I do log this quite a lot as a symptom around ov. Just wondered how common it is ?!

im super paranoid of timing ov wrong due to my rogue month last month 😞

@ToeBeans24 I definitely get a little bit of bloating but not uncomfortable. My boobs have been so tender the last few days just starting to settle down now!

1dpo for me today 😬 going to try my best not to symptom spot or test early this time

Thanks @2doggos got EWCM yesterday too so think it was ov bloating. DTD so fingers crossed !

Sorry for TMI I’m 8dpo and had this today - used tissue in pants to monitor. Is this implantation bleeding?

I'm on my 3rd cycle after an early miscarriage and 8dpo, no symptoms and trying to avoid early testing and holding off.

@LaurenLoveday I must be the same stage as you! I can't comment on implantation bleeding though as I never had it with my last pregnancy! Most likely could be at this point in your cycle though!

Welcome @Ash4317 😊 how you feeling and when will you test? I’m fatigued and have sore breast and then this but of course test BFN which I knew it would be. I’ve been pregnant many times but miscarriage and never had this bleed. How strange x

I've had light cramping but nothing major so far. I've got one test strip left so might do that at the weekend and see. Are you just testing every day?

Well i told myself I wouldn’t and I have 😂my boobs have been sore since ovulation which is strange and I’m not due my period until next Wednesday. I’m cramping both sides as we speak makes no sense! Maybe AF is coming early 😞 when is yours due x

Maybe it's your month! ☺️🤞🏻I've been the same my last cycles testing every day and it was draining especially with the early miscarriage.

Mine is also due next wed. Its such a long wait when TTC isn't it!

@LaurenLoveday it may well be! Keep an eye out for symptoms and if you wanted to test early maybe test in 2/3 days? If it is implantation you likely wouldn’t get any symptoms before now tho as HCG won’t rise until after implantation.

I’m only 2po so got ages to wait 😔 im not due AF until 13th 😬😬

@2doggos how are you getting on? Think our ov was exactly the same time ? 29/30th. So we are 3-4dpo!

im away until 10th now and AF due 13th so I hope I can keep occupied and not symptom spot. Asking for a miracle there 🤭

@ToeBeans24 I'm 3po according to my many apps 😂 I'm doing ok mentally but I've had a horrible cold for most of this week, just about feeling ok today.
I do CrossFit and I've got a competition this weekend and I always get really nervous before comps so I'm trying not to stress too much.

I'm going to try hold off to test until next weekend.

How are you feeling?

im ok I just hate this waiting. It’s only cycle 1 for me but already know I’m gunna be stressed and gutted if I don’t get a bfp 😞

Trying to remain positive tho.

we DTD cd 5, 8, 10, 11, 12 & 14 though so I’m hoping that was a good enough effort 🤞🏻

I know what you mean this is cycle 2 for me and I was the same last month. Even though I knew that it probably wouldn't happen first time I kind of got my hopes up that it would. We're not in a rush but would be nice for it to happen sooner rather than later!

I ovulated on CD19 and dtd on 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 19 and 20 😅

Do any of you use pre mom app? I’m only on my second cycle tracking ovulation. First month showed a definite peak. But this month it hasn’t, shows them all as long. But I feel like CD13 looks quite dark. Not sure if I just haven’t ovulated yet, or that as I’ve not been using the app for long it’s not picking up a usual pattern yet

@piechipsgravy hey I’m 30, Ttc first and also cd1 unfortunately after our third month. On to month 4 fingers crossed. How long have you been trying ?

Hey! I've only just started using pre mom so can't offer much advice but Do you reduce liquids and hold wee before you test? I found I was getting better readings with second wee of the day and no drinks between first and second wee.

Also are your cycles regular? Could you have not reached peak yet? I didn't peak until cd18 this cycle

Hi @2doggos yeah I’ve been trying that the last few days, as at the beginning was only able to test in the morning due to work.
I had a MC couple months ago so my cycle isn’t in a normal rhythm yet - think I’m trying to fool myself into thinking i could have already ovulated, when reality is I could be waiting a while yet!

@Jeragade123 - last month was my first month trying however for the last 5 years DH and I have just used pull out method and I've never gotten pregnant so I do worry that something is wrong!

@Anonxo I use Natural Cycles for tracking. What do you use?

@Anonxo I use the flo app and ovulation tests and log those on prenom app which seem to work well

@piechipsgravy I have a friend who used pull out method for 6 years and then randomly fell pregnant recently so definitely doesn’t mean anything is wrong

@piechipsgravy im just trying to figure out tracking I think I’ll dystrophy with a bbt thermometer and ovulation strips for now.

and I agree with@Jeragade123 i think that just means you have good timing

I did a few ovulation strips last month and temperature and thought I'd try and ease off this month to stop me overthinking everything but I don't think I'll be able to resist- I love having lots of information!

Has anyone got any good non-TTC projects to occupy them? Our house needs loads of renovation- we bought it in December 2022 and left it for a year as we were wedding planning and put all our money on the wedding. We initally were actually going to wait another year before TTC to sort the house out but realised we didn't want to. In the meantime I'm trying to put a lot of time and energy into thinking about paint colours and tiles and plastering to not focus so much on babies!
