Looking for fellow mums to be starting their TTC journey :)

I’m officially starting this cycle (currently CD6). Last night was the first time without any contraception (v early but hoping to continue all throughout fertile period). Not gonna lie it felt very strange now the actual TTC has started!

But very excited and wanting to hear from people on this journey too!

Hi all, thought this might be relevant for people trying for their first, I found out about it on a different thread.

This has to be your first pregnancy and they need to see you BEFORE you're pregnant. You can have been pregnant before but for whatever reason not progressed past 20 weeks.

I went for my first visit today, you get paid £35 a visit but probably the biggest financial benefit is the free tests. You get 18 OPKs and 12 pregnancy tests (pictured).

I was there for an hour and a half. Had a pregnancy test, some blood work, LOADS of blood pressure measurements, my arterial stiffness (!) measured, body composition done and then I had to do some light steps to get my heart pumping.

They have bases in Cambridge, Glasgow and London but I think are opening new sites soon. They were delighted to hear I had heard about it through Mumsnet and asked me to spread the word.

Just got the notification from my watch that it predicts I ovulated on the 2nd, so that would make my 7dpo! At least that somewhat shortens the TWW!

Been having some cramping today, like mild period pains. Predominantly on my right side. Trying not to read too much into it. But it's so hard not to!

My temperature has dropped to baseline so I think that means I'm out already. Read that it stays up if you've conceived. Bit disappointed but who knows, not out until AF arrives!

How’s everyone feeling? I feel like a few of us have given up hope! I’m still spotting today so I didn’t bother doing a test. I have no symptoms. At least I can drink at this wedding tomorrow! Little wins…

I can already tell I'm out. DPO10 and not a single symptom. I'd had a positive test by now last time. I don't think it would vary much going by what I've read.

I didn't really expect to fall this month because of all the stress I've been under, but I'm devastated anyway. I did feel hopeful when I managed to catch my ovulation so well, but it's dwindled now. After our loss, it's like there's a big hole and seeing two healthy lines on a test feels like the only way to heal it. Sounds silly, I know, but I've been waiting and waiting to feel those little bubbles and twinges I felt last time. I knew I'd know before any test could tell me. There's just nothing.

I've found the last two weeks so hard. I've obsessed every single day, time has moved so slowly. I think I need to take a little break away from it all.

@KittyFantastica I’m so sorry you’re so disheartened. I know exactly how you feel, I said those exact words to my partner after our first loss. I said I feel like there’s a hole and until I’m pregnant again it won’t be filled and I’ll feel sad and lost until then. So every month is so hard because it’s another 4 weeks waiting game.
BUT, I started to look at it at another month closer … it’s not happened, but it’s just got another month out the way until the day it does. It’s so hard to be positive, and it’s ok to have a cry, a break and feel angry at the world. Sending hope you’re way x

I'm CD8 today so beginning to gear up for the ovulation phase. We had sex yesterday and today I'm wondering if I have ewcm already or if it's some... remnants (😳) will do an opk this evening just in case but now I'm worrying about whether I'm ovulating too early! I feel like I've never felt more distrustful of my body until TTC

@Nbaby I got a vvfl at 9dpo and I'm 11 dpo today. I started testing really early cos I have no patience 😂

@2doggos amazing! So so happy for you. No real symptoms here. Boobs hurt at the sides but I’ve been doing a tonne of walking on holiday so thought it could be that. Did have the old painful twinge but no other signs of implantation / pregnancy. We will see. If not onwards and upwards 🤞🏻. I’m 33 so chances of it happening in month 1 was always slim! Not impossible, but slim!

12dpo for me and BFN this morn 😞

10/11DPO today and I've had 2 sleepless nights... this never happens to me!! Cue me frantically researching to see if it's an early pregnancy sign... this TWW is messing with my mind! Kind of tempted to test to put myself out of my misery!
