Sorry to butt in girls, but oh my God, I'm so excited.

I finally got a positive on ALL the tests. I just wanted to say thank you for the help because I'd never have known to test a bit later in the day. I've had a peak on the monitor before, but not with anything else. I actually did a strip this morning at 08:30 before I left the house and it was noticeably darker than yesterday's, but it was still only reading 0.48 on Premom. Did one when I got back and that one reads 1.09. It reads it as 'high', but I've changed it to peak so it will know for next time. So what I can deduce from this is that I have a sudden surge, not a gradual one.

This probably seems a bit of an over reaction, but I was convinced there was something wrong this month due to the early loss I had.

We DTD 24th, 25th and 26th because I assumed I'd ovulate around then (when I'd usually ovulate). We had Saturday off and DTD again last night. To be honest, I didn't think it would happen because of last month, so I thought we'd be done and back to normal frequency by now, so I hope we both have the stamina 😂.

We will go again today. I'm not sure whether to go for tomorrow, 31st and 1st as well? Or just tomorrow and 31st? Last time, we did a similar pattern and it worked okay, but you just never know. We all know it's sadly never guaranteed.

@KittyFantastica the way I looked at it was you will ovulate 12-36 hours after your peak & then the egg can live up to 12 hours…so I worked out the soonest & the latest my egg would be alive as such & covered that

@Cazzy87 i turned 36 in November too!
I have PCOS, with cycles all over the place - ranging from 34 to 45 days.

I stopped eating sugary snacks to help with insulin resistance relating to the PCOS, and I take metformin for it too.

I’ve conceived on second cycle of trying. I listened to a fab episode of a podcast called ‘the pregnancy podcast’ about conceiving over the age of 35 which you might want to give a go.

I also saw a gynaecologist last year who was not concerned about my age at all if that helps!

Absolutely. At this stage, I'm just happy to see that my body seems to be getting itself back to normal after my chemical.

i may give it a listen tonight! thanks @FantasticalCat with my daughter i got caught within 6 months not even trying but i was only 27 so a long time ago! and now with a new partner who hasn't got any children already so i'm hoping we can have our own ❤

I'm fine - feel like I'm just riding this cycle out, I'm fairly certain we missed ovulation and only DTD once as the OH is away - Did a test before I went out drinking on Saturday just in case and was BFN, so just waiting for AF to arrive so I can move on to the next go haha. Got OPK and BBT that I'm going to be using properly next cycle, so looking forward to hopefully getting a better idea <3

Officially 1DPO. Anyone else? Twiddling my thumbs already. It's going to be a twitchy few weeks.

10dpo and tested again this morning and BFN so won't bother testing again this cycle as in my heart I am out this month.
Cherry on the cake is that I am on antibiotics for a chest infection and tonsillitis 😭

@Mummysparrow I'm still waiting for ovulation! I've had the discharge but no positive OPK yet, on antibiotics for urine infection so I feel you xx

@Lowrilawson UTIs are horrible. I hope you feel better soon. what CD are you?

@Mummysparrow they really are! and I'm CD16 I usually ovulate day 18 but last month I ovulated day 14/15 so it's a bit odd aha xx

@Mummysparrow oh my goodness, you must be feeling so rubbish, you poor thing. Concentrate on resting & getting better if you can! 🫶🏼

@Lowrilawson urgh UTI’s are the worst! & not great for ovulation coming up! I hope it goes away quickly for you. I guess your cycles are looking back to the usual CD18 then 🤔 What’s your DTD plan for your fertile period? x

@4LeafCloverBaby yeah really odd I have felt my cervix and it's the lowest it's ever been and slightly open so I would assume that's ovulation but not got an LH surge yet, my temps have been 37.5 in the mornings too, confused! and just DTD every day since 10dpo but not yesterday as UTI was very bad yesterday! Aha xx

@Lowrilawson I never could tell anything from my cervix. I read that it was supposed to only go low at the end of the tww for your period…mine was low & open & the. I got a bfp so 🤷🏻‍♀️
Well I guess if you are doing it that much the. You’re covered anyway 😊🤞🏼🍀

@Lowrilawson we are similar! i'm CD 11 and nothing on OPK yet - 2 apps say i'm at peak Sun or Mon so plan to DTD Sat and Sun and maybe Mon? its so hard to know and as i've said before my partner isn't keen on everyday (strange i know 😂) and i dont tell him when im ovulating to keep the pressure off a lil

thanks Ladies it certainly is! and doesnt help a lady at work has now announced she is 12 weeks pregnant and wasnt even trying!😟

@Cazzy87 I know that feeling my best friends sister in law is 11 weeks and she wasn't trying for long at all, it's like you're happy for them but disappointed that it's not you yet! Xx

@Lowrilawson definitely! but what makes this worse is she has been playing the field from her husband and wasn't trying for a baby 🙈xx
