Thank you all ❤️
@Racket81 Of course, this is third time lucky (hopefully) for us. We started TTC in December 2023 and we were successful on the first try. It was a HUGE shock and we were absolutely elated.
Sadly, I had a MC at 6 weeks and my tests never really progressed, so it was a chemical.
My cycle went straight back to normal, so we decided not to have a break and to keep going, and we conceived again straight away. That pregnancy ended at 10 weeks in March. I'd been measuring 10 days behind pretty much the entire time, and baby passed between 8-10 weeks, but was only measuring just over 6 weeks. It was very traumatic and I still feel so much grief. I still think of my due date as being October and can't believe I'll be leaving 2024 without that baby in my arms (as much as I am, of course, EXTREMELY grateful for the one I am currently growing).
It took my cycle nearly 8 weeks to return after the MMC, and I was so worried because I'd always had a clockwork cycle. I was having random intermittent bleeding and didn't seem to be ovulating, so I had some blood tests done. I thought I caught the tail end of ovulation at the end of May, so we chanced it just in case and that lead to this pregnancy.
I realise we have been exceptionally lucky in terms of conception. Every time we've tried, we've conceived. We've paid for it dearly, though in some ways. Nature is a bizarre thing; it's beautiful and incredible, but so cruel at the same time.
