Hi Ladies please may I join. I'm 42 ttc baby no 3. I have 2 boys from previous relationship age 10 and 8 and my partner of 4 years and I have been ttc for 2 years fell pregnat in May 2023 but ended in MC in July. Take vitamins and use clearblue fertility monitor for ovulation, having forst lot of accupuncture tomorrow to see if helps. Considering ivf but worried my age I won't be accepted. I'm currently 7dpo with tender nipples and am hungry all tje time however could just be pms..I should also mention i am overweight bit very active. Prob 2 stone overweight which I knkw does t help. My partner is very fit and active. Just nice to have some support from other women in same boat.

Hi Racket81, I'm the same age as you and ttc too. I'm due on this Fri or sat, I have the usual pre menstrual tender/heavy boobs, bit more moody than usual, though that could be January blues. I haven't slept well for the last two nights, and last night had cramps and was sure I'd be on my period by the morning but no sign of it. I've had a need for sweet foods today, again pretty normal pms symptom for me. I have a friend who is a year older who is pregnant so take hope from that x

Thank you I am still hopefully I just don't want to be too old so hoping for sooner rather than later im 43 in august.. I'm 7dpo atm I'm due AF in 8 days time. Hope you get your bfp this month. How long have you been trying?

Did another test this morning (bottom one) the others are from the past two days, I'm so sure it looks lighter, with these cramps it's really stressing me out even though I know there is nothing I can do

@hol92 yours tests look fine to me hun. Cramping I’m early pregnancy is very normal. It’s just your uterus changing & getting ready for your baby. Easier said than done but try to relax x

Ok so weird shit is happening…probably nothing but you know what the 2ww does to you! 🤪
So last night I’m lying on the sofa & my stomach to the right & a bit lower than my belly button starts twitching…like a muscle spasm & it went on for ages…was so weird & honestly looked like a baby was kicking 😂🤣 & then in the night I had a shooting pain in the same place, very painful it woke me up! I’m 6DPO today…no implantation bleeding but no idea if I would get that anyway. I’m hoping so much but I know it’s probably me symptom spotting! Lol. How’s all my other 2ww ladies getting on?

Also getting a lot of painful crampy shooting in lower abdomen today!

@Racket81 Helllo! Welcome - definitely join. Sorry you're having problems and so sorry to hear about your MC. My Mum had me at 38 and my brother at 42, after previously having infertility problems, so there's definitely hope! Keep trying, and don't be afraid to ask your GP for what help might be out there for you xx

@hol92 Cramping is really normal! Try not to worry - it's really common side effect of early pregnancy <3 xx

It's my first month temping - so that's interesting! - and waiting for my husband to get home from his work trip. We're actually hoping he should get home tonight or tomorrow morning, and he'll leave again Sunday, so I think it's a very well planned weekend off work thank god haha.

@4LeafCloverBaby i dont think i have any symptoms, again i try so hard not to symptom spot! 🙈but have had a few headaches this week and weirdly boobs feel bigger but they are prob not 😂

@Lowrilawson & @Cazzy87 I really try to not symp spot too but this was just so weird! I never get any pain or cramps in the tww & now it’s very much there. I’m on CD 23 & not due on for another 8 days so can’t be af pains…who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

i think someone has said before sometimes it is so hard to determine between possible early preg signs or start of AF coming .. mines due Mon according to 2 apps i have

Cd12 and getting egg white mucus but still low lh but I reckon I will get a surge tomorrow. Told my husband and his response was let's get banging then 🤦🤣
I have been meaning to ask. I am not taking any pre natal vitamins as I take liquid iron that contains other vitamins. I have been on iron since pregnancy number 1 due to it leaving me with a iron deficiency. The iron contains a really good amount of folic acid. I also take magnesium and vitamin d. This should be sufficient shouldn't it? I don't want to stop the iron and use pre natals as pre natals contain too low iron levels for me and pre natals are more expensive. Added photo of what I am using.

Just realised how poor that image was so added a clearer picture. I take 20 ml a day and these amounts below are for 5 so taking 4x times this

@Mummysparrow they say 400 of folic acid which you have covered. I take a shot tonne of other but mainly because I’m 37 & did loads of research on what to take & ended up taking 11 pills a day now! 🤣 Good luck for your surge! 🍀🤞🏼

7dpo update…last night I was very bloated…not normal at all & today still a bit. The shooting pains & cramps have gone, just keep getting ovary twinges today so far…no other symptoms. I can’t believe I have another 7/8 sleeps to wait for af to appear or not!!

hopefully these are signs you’re heading for a positive 🤞 the waiting is a killer. Are you feeling better now?

I’ve got 2/3 days to go. Full of the cold. No spotting which is unusual for me (normally starts 4 days before) and chest a bit tender sometimes. That’s it though!

@onetwoandthree hmmm trying not to get my hopes up! I really wish there was just a way of knowing either way! My flu has gone apart from a horrid cough & stuffy nose but feeling much better in myself.

Ok I’m going tww crazy…as of about an hour ago I have tender nipples…which I only ever get at ovulation! 🙈🤪 I really feel pregnant & I know I’m probably gearing myself up for massive disappointment 🤣😂😭

A few people I spoke to said they just ‘knew’ they were pregnant without specific symptoms…more of a gut feel. Have you got that @4LeafCloverBaby ?
