Anyone due AF around Christmas day and wanted company?

About me: cycle 3, TTC no3, 33 (common theme here)

currently on CD 14, ovulation expected CD16, temping, OPKing, banging.

AF due 21st December.

Jumping back on after lurking for a while! I'm about 9dpo (didn't use OPK so just went on natural signs) but feel like I'm out already this month as had a huge mood crash yesterday which I usually get in my luteral phase. DH thinks it's too early to know and I'm being dramatic but I just know my cycles!

I find Christmas such an emotionally amplifying time so feel quite gloomy despite all the nice things to look forward to!

Now according to app I am 10 dpo, CD 22. BFN this AM. Not sure if ovulation is correct or just not quite right, it seemed early.

How is everyone getting on? I’m 9dpo today and sore boobs (usual for me) and no other symptoms- I think I’m out this month! But onwards and upwards for January and at least I can enjoy the mulled wine over the weekend :)

@Secondtimettc I know how you feel! Especially when you know your body so well. I’m also 9dpo. I think the hope of a BFP for Christmas Day holds some extra pressure (I’ve been dreaming up fun festive ways of how I would tell DH!) there’s definitely a bigger feeling of disappointment with lack of pregnancy symptoms this month :( but onto the next cycle!

Morning! 14 DPO today, faint positives but I don't know if that's my HCG trigger shot still (last shot was 0.4ml on 15/12). I'm not 'supposed' to test until Christmas Eve so we'll see. Definitely feel like AF is on her way though.

My BBT has started trending upwards in the last 2 mornings, going from 36.3 to 36.4 yesterday and now 36.5 (all rounded). I'm 11dpo according to my app though I'm not sure if I could be 9dpo.

So an update from me. AF is now 2 days late (I am never late) and I've just taken a clear blue digital and it says 'not pregnant'.

What a cruel trick my body has played on me :(

@Itsrainingfrogs you won't get any symptoms yet if you are pregnant. When I've been pregnant I've had no symptoms as opposed to PMS. Different for everyone though!

That said currently in my head as I've got kind of feeling like morning sickness (mine was always all day and like being hungover) but I'm sure it's just my AF hormones. Also not sure when I ovulated so AF could be due Christmas Day or Boxing Day or after! Which is annoying!

@5rosebud I'm so sorry about your BFN but you are not out until AF comes.

I'm spotting so AF will be here tomorrow or Sunday.

I vividly remember assuring myself last Christmas that 'It'll be ok, we'll be pregnant by next Christmas' and here we are. My heart hurts and my womb remains empty.

We'll be buying our first home next year, and I'm worried I won't be bringing a baby with us. A big house for just the two of us.

DH gave in his sperm test today so we'll know if he has fertility issues too in the new year. It stings knowing that IVF isn't an option for us due to my low AMH levels.

I have had a little too much wine, thank you for allowing me to indulge my melancholy. I hope the outcome is better for the rest of you ❤

@5rosebud It might be too early for a digital to show a positive. Maybe try a regular pink dye test.

It appears AF has come for me this month, which means this cycle was shorter than usual (25 days not my usual 30) I’m wondering if I even ovulated to be honest as I’m only technically 10dpo according to when I got a positive on the opk. Glad at least it’s come ahead of Christmas so I can deal with my disappointment ahead of the day itself!

@JuniperandI so sorry to hear this, hope next year you get your positive. I guess the small positive we can take is that we can indulge in whatever booze, cheese we want to on Christmas day 😭

I'm so sorry @JuniperandI just know that your feelings are completely understandable.

AF has just arrived for me. I am stunned to be honest. I am regular like clockwork and it was 3 days late, plus I had (thought I had) symptoms. Obviously my brain was just playing tricks on me. Apart of me feels relief as the TWW is just torture, but the other half is obviously gutted as I was so sure this time.

Is it possible I may have had a chemical? Obviously I won't know now but I just don't understand why I was so late.

Actually after doing some reading I'm pretty sure the Pregnancare vitamins delayed my period. Apparently lots of women have had this side effect. I won't be taking them again.

Did anyone get their magic 2 lines?

@Nic2908 Yes I did on Monday. I’m 4 weeks 1 day today. So crazy that it happened this month as we were sick with covid during ovulation.

@nic2908 negative this morning at 11dpo so still in with a chance but can't help feeling disappointed.

@Paws4thought the game of TTC is wicked isn’t it. In every single way. I have no idea what has happened to my cycle this month. I never for a positive ovulation, I’m getting negative tests but I am day 35 of my cycle today which has never happened before.

@Nic2908 ah how frustrating, how long are your cycles normally? Hopefully you'll get an answer either way soon, I sometimes feel like the waiting is harder than just getting AF. Fingers crossed its a late bfp :)

@Paws4thought i average around 29-30 days. Since my second trimester miscarriage in March I have had slightly longer cycles but still consistent. I really just want af at this point and be back to day one with a clean slate.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage, must be awful so late too! Hopefully af will arrive so you can start again 🤞
