About me: cycle 3, TTC no3, 33 (common theme here)

currently on CD 14, ovulation expected CD16, temping, OPKing, banging.

AF due on Christmas Day. TTC #2. 1DPO today.

I tracked with OPK’s for the first time this month and got a peak a few days before the app’s suggested. Definitely gave it a good go this cycle, don’t think we could have done any more so at least there won’t be any wishing we’d done more if it’s another bfn this time.

5th cycle trying, just turned 39 ☠️😆

Just in my fertile window, hope to dtd every other day for the next week. DH winces at the suggestion of every day (rude!).

Hopefully we will get the best Christmas present of all 🎁🥰

hi everyone 👋🏻 ttc number 2, cycle 3, 5dpo and losing. my. mind. already 🫠

I think af due around 22nd but sadly had a chemical last month (at 4+5) so maybe a bit out of whack. took 13m to conceive baby 1 and I have everything (except my legs) crossed that it’s much faster this time!

Doing ok! think I am 5dpo now trying to keep occupied I have been carolling this week with my hobby group and xmas lunches so far this week! plus my little one just keeps me running around, although think I may be overdoing it as feeling rundown now grr.

@tryingfortwo2 thank you humour seems to be imperative when TTC. I've gone completely bonkers so far in this TWW. p.s glad to hear your legs aren't crossed 😂

@WindyHarbour We tried to DTD every day and as much as I love DH, I don't love him that much...

@MarieeeG I feel exactly the same, we completely nailed this cycle. No regrets here.

@Fingerscrossed2005 Glad you're keeping super busy, I'm trying to do the same, but keep ending up Googling symptoms!!

Hey everyone - hope you're all hanging in there! I'm 7DPO today and honestly this feels like the longest TWW yet. I was going to try and wait until 12dpo to test but I'm thinking I may end up caving on 10 or 11. It's just so hard not to, especially when I know I have tests in the house!!

@Saffie920 i can’t believe I’m only 5DPO. I was so crampy last night and panicked that maybe I was ovulating so DTD again just incase. My mood is SO LOW today. I guess hormonal. Maybe just winter blues though but genuinely can’t remember being so low before 😭😭

Sorry to hear that @Thetwilightscone 😔 it's so tough isn't it. I hope you can distract yourself with some festive cheer in the coming days - I'm trying my hardest to.

We also decided we aren't going to tell anyone we are trying so the only person I can speak to about it is DH. But he is also interviewing for jobs atm so whilst he cares lots about TTC, and is being v supportive, he also has a lot of other stresses on his plate. I'm considering telling one of my friends just so I have someone else to talk to about it. Unfortunately none of my friends have children yet though (I'm 31 and my friends are all the same age but are all taking their time!) so I'm not sure how well someone else will understand. Have others been telling friends or family?

@therealpatmustard same, fully lost the plot this cycle. I’m 6dpo today and this is definitely the most consumed I’ve been in a tww this time round. I hope it doesn’t just keeping worse each month - by the time we conceived our first, I had totally lost it!

@Saffie920 i feel ya. It’s dragging! At this point I’m just trying to get to 9dpo without testing 🫠

@Saffie920 thank you! I think I just need a sunbed or something (naughty I know but just 4 mins once or twice in winter has saved me before! Wouldn’t do for tanning purposes).

I am telling everyone I meet that we are trying haha, except for work people and my mum lol - don’t really feel the need to keep it a secret? I am maybe in a different position to you as most friends are also trying so I don’t feel like an outlier and we all seem to be struggling so it’s nice to talk about it!

@Thetwilightscone I had the worst mood of my life last cycle, quite genuine ready to throw myself out of any window. This was a symptom with DC1 but unfortunately didn't pan out last month. But feeling optimistic for you.

@Saffie920 I'm trying so hard to get to 12dpo without testing. It's going to kill me. My close friends know we are TTC and my Parents I don't think we will outwardly tell anyone outside of people I actually see in person though.

@tryingfortwo2 Oh snap I'm 6DPO today, trying desperately to hang in there until the 21st. I'm not going to make it.😬

@therealpatmustard the 21st! You’re SO much stronger than me! I’m just trying to make it to Saturday 😂 I got my bfp with my first at 9dpo and because that’s now in my head, I never make it past then without testing.

Afternoon ladies

Symptom Spotting R Us! 5 DPO today with -

Nausea (so bad I was worried I was going to throw up in bed last night)
Loose bowels (if you know what I mean 😂)
A crampy tum
A headache that just won't quit
Bad mood swings
Very tired

Considering skipping the gym today, I've got an image in my head of me throwing up on the treadmill. Might just stay in and have a bath instead, just to be safe 😉

I'm taking gonasi injections to get my progesterone up (plus I triggered on peak -1), so some of these symptoms could be that plus PMS symptoms but a gal can dream!

How are we all holding up?

@tryingfortwo2 Darn it, all of a sudden Saturday is looking very appealing to test, I'm so darn weak. Maybe Monday at 11DPO is a sweet spot.

@JuniperandI So many symptoms! I just have an unfulfillable need to eat anything and everything in my wake, which could be pregnancy, PMS or Christmas. The jury is still out!

@therealpatmustard I’m sorry for inadvertently being an awful influence!

Currently out walking the dogs and thinking about how it would be wonderful to get a wee update on whether or not each stage has been successful. Sperm met egg test? Positive. Travelled down tube? Positive. Initial implantation? Positive. Ya know?! Just a wee running commentary would be nice!

@therealpatmustard tracking! That’s it. That’s exactly what we need. I’d like to be able to track my little egg on its journey, so that a) I could know if there was a pattern as to when it fails, b) be put out of my misery earlier if it does fail, and c) not be entirely losing my mind not having a clue what’s going on in there!

@Saffie920 I know how you feel about the telling people thing! It’s so tough. I’ve told a couple of close friends who have a baby/are pregnant but not parents (hoping to surprise them!). Have also found that I can’t speak to DH too much about it as he starts feeling the pressure so it can all feel a bit lonely! Also turned 31 recently and my in-laws have suddenly gone nuts making constant comments “you two need to get on with having kids” “when are you having a family” and I was asked by 3 separate people at my work Xmas do if I’m going to have kids(!!!)
Almost want to tell people we are trying to stop the questions but that also kind of comes with it’s own pressure 🫠
Agh! Dreading the questions over Xmas tbh.
But thankful for this thread! ❤️
