Anyone due AF around Christmas day and wanted company?

About me: cycle 3, TTC no3, 33 (common theme here)

currently on CD 14, ovulation expected CD16, temping, OPKing, banging.

Hello.

CD 17, TTC no 2, I have a 2.5 year old DD. 38 years old. Cycle 3.

I’m 1DPO, AF is due on the 19th so a bit earlier than Christmas Day. I’m hoping that if I’ve caught this month I can tell my parents on Christmas Day as we’re spending it with them.

When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter I had a funny feeling two days before my period was due so took a test which was very positive. This time I’m going to wait until the day after AF is due to test if it hasn’t arrived.

Morning everyone happy Saturday

Keeping positive mindset for everyone for Xmas anyone finding the first half of the month goes quick then draaaags? Especially this month!

So my ovulation being later last month has not happened this time I appear to have in fact ovulated a couple of days earlier than usual got blank circles all week on cb then Thursday morning bam static I was surprised not had that before but opk was nearly positive also, so went to work where I had a lot of ewcm throughout the day and as I thought when I got home took another cheapie and it was positive so got to it! Was in the mood as well so definitely been listening to my body better this month, Dh was surprised (bless him I think he tracks in his head better than I do these days! He is a such a bloke as well it's bizarre to hear him talking about all this)

We're away today so gonna keep going tonight just in case if both still feeling up for it, my temp appears to have risen this morning also (had a bit of an up and down night with little one) and my opks went back down last night so think I may be 1dpo (just) but who knows... loads of fun this isn't it lol

Well ladies, my fertile period has come to a close. Now we wait.

Does anyone else's mood just DROP after ovulation? I was sat on the sofa and literally felt my mood switch along with my hormones.

Hiya all I'm currently cd 16 af due 23rd my body is like clock work had positive opk's on cd 14 but I'm not feeling very hopeful for this cycle unfortunately :( but will keep my fingers crossed for us all anyway

I am cycle day 17 today, I’ve been peeing on opk since day 12 and nothing. I’m beginning to wonder if I have ovulated early this month and completely missed the window 😥 so frustrating.

@Tiffany88 i use the one step ones. I pee on two a day one in the morning and then one in the evening. Usually I get two positive days so four fully strong positive tests. But this month nothing so far.

Im a newbie to temping- does anyone have any experience and can help me as my temp shift hasn’t arrived and I’m 2dpo judging by opks and CM… help!?

Have you been taking temp at same time after 3/4 hours sleep any disturbances can alter the measurement , also did you continue with opks after positive I read that when they go down its usually good meaning surge then ovulation had happened...maybe dtd again just in case your body is still revving up to ovulate

@Nic2908 keep going with the tests you never know, this was me last month normally ovulate cd17 like clockwork, last month I ovulated cd20 and this month I've ovulated cd15! Makes no sense I think it might be down to weather shifting (clutching at straws lol)

@JuniperandI yep my mood plummets I think its because you know there's not much more you can do and now it's the long wait luckily this week I'm busy and next week but it's always gonna be at the back of my mind. Last month made the mistake of chatting to a work colleague about it (was just feeling so low) who helpfully told me that many years ago (her dc is an adult) she just wanted a baby and then got pregnant because she never thought about it at all. That majorly helped my mood NOT why do people say that! Also I sit there like well yes I already have a child so I do know how it works just some of us aren't super bloody fertile like others it seems so thanks!!!

I'm keep everything crossed for us all, come on Christmas bring us a nice present !!

Would love to join! In my 3rd month TTC no 1, cd 10. Feeling a bit despondent this month even though I’ve been trying for no time at all, but time isn’t on my side at 37. Cycles are very regular and usually about 30 days long so I’m due around New Years. Nobody knows we’re trying and my family regularly make jokes about how me and DH will never have kids - we have just never been in the right place mentally and physically until recently to be honest. Fingers crossed this is our month 🤞

@Tiffany88 i would give it a good go! Certainly helps for cross referencing everything and trying to pinpoint various markers of ovulation.

@Fingerscrossed2005 so I finally had a peak this morning which would be 3DPO, have it a google and apparently it takes 1-3 days with the majority of women being within 24 hours- perhaps I’m just a little slower?! Feel v glad about it, hopefully it stays up there now.

I continued to use an ovulation stick with FMU and even with a bit build up they have all come out negative which seems like a good sign.

CM is now non existent for me. CD19 11 more to go…

@therealpatmustard I know! I am so sick of people telling me to 'just relax, don't think about it, my sister did X' etc. Going on holiday isn't going to fix my fertility issues 😤

Anyone symptom spotting yet? I woke up in the night feeling a tiny bit sick so obvs we've conceived..I'm 2 DPO 🙄

@JuniperandI I too am fed up of the "relax and it'll happen" people. I'm not a relaxer in general, so it would be ridiculously out of character.
Snap for symptom spotting I'm now 4DPO and noting everything. 😂

I’m feeling a little broken, I’m cycle day 20 and still not ovulated, my mind started playing tricks on me and I thought maybe I ovulated super early and I am pregnant so I bought a test, of course it was negative. Not even a whiff of a line. Honestly I need to get a grip

Just got a positive on OPK yesterday (cycle day 11) which is weird because I had no flashing smiley, straight from circle to static this month. Planning to DTD every couple days but have a friend over this weekend so have to work around that as the walls are a little thin in our house…

I'm due AF 21st December too. TTC baby number 2... this will be cycle number 3. I'm going to try and not test too early...and by that, I mean if I can hold out until Sunday when I will be 10dpo, I'll be proud of myself, haha.

I'm 4 DPO and I'm sat in front of Dr Google too! I'm looking at cervial mucus changes at the moment.

DH is going to do this sperm test this week, I'm so nervous for the results.

Just had my gonasi shot, bring on the nausea 🤢

I’m due AF 21st dec as well! I think we might need to get DH tested though as he’s been having some prostate issues and semen volume has been on the lower end. Will do investigations if this month doesn’t work. Cycle 4 properly trying now.

I'm also due AF on 21st December. TTC baby number 2 following a miscarriage in the summer. This will be cycle 3. Getting myself into a pity spiral when trying to symptom 'spot' and realising I don't have any... 😞

My respect goes out to those who have been trying much longer because this shit is hard!!
