Hi, alI!

I thought it would be really nice to start a new thread. This thread is dedicated to those TTC in November 2023. We can give each other advice, talk through our emotions (because sometimes, hearing from another woman is so helpful!), and at the end of the cycle - update on pregnancy test results.

I'll introduce myself real quick. Feel free to do the same.

My name is Kelsey. I'm 26. I'm from Ireland. I've been engaged to my fiancé, Sean, since September. We started dating in December 2022 (when ya know, ya know!!). We have been trying to conceive since I came off the pill in May. I was only on it since December 2022. Unfortunately, we received a false positive Clearblue digital in June :(. So this TTC journey has been very stressful. I have PCOS and irregular cycles but something seems to be switching up in me.

My last period started October 19th.
I feel I ovulated on Halloween night. We DTD the day before and the day of. It's the first time I've caught ovulation so perfectly.

If going by 28 day cycle since I ovulated on time, my period is expected November 16th. I am so nervous as I want a baby so badly. Something in me is telling me this cycle is different but that little voice in my mind is telling me I'm not pregnant and I'm wrong. I guess we'll see.

Symptoms so far:
Ovary pain (but I have that almost every day anyway)
Backache
And then....nothing.
Which is unusual for me as my PMS symptoms usually begin 2 weeks before my period (whether I end up bleeding or not lol). I often feel nauseas and experience cramping. Nothing so far.
Also, currently 3dpo.

I know exactly how u feel, and the wait is so horrible !

I am currently 4dpo, ovulated on the 30th.

Been TTC for 3 months now, been keeping a track of my LH with OPKs, I peaked on the 29th and ovulated on the 30th after which the levels went right down. Woke up with sore breasts this morning, did another OPK this afternoon and 2 dark lines have shown up! This is really unusual for me!

I really wanna do a HCG test but I know is well too early 😂

I will do, this is how I was with my first! So hopefully will turn into BFP! Never used opks with my 2nd as it was a surprise :)
I don’t want to test too early but it’s going to be very difficult!

Omg you inspired me to take an ovulation test, too. I am way too impatient lol.

But um!? It's dark!
Totally getting too excited.
I know I definitely ovulated as my cervix was open on Halloween night and it's been closed since the 1st, plus my mucus is sticky and barely there (tmi lol).

Are we delusional hahaha? I'm only 3dpo.

I should also add it was negative yesterday! Almost blank.

I'm 30, currently trying to conceive my 2nd. With my first it didn't take long at all, only 2 tries! But this time I'm on cycle 6 currently! I ovulated (or I think I did) really early this cycle so currently 7dpo. Really want that bfp!

How exciting ! I take it as a good sign ! It’s going to be a long and painful wait before we can take a pregnancy test tho ! I will be definitely using the OPKs for the next few days… and same with me the ones I took straight after ovulation were barely visible !!

Hi everyone, I’d like to join in too! My husband and I are currently TTC our first. I’m about to turn 31 and this is our second cycle. I haven’t been doing anything specific to test when I’m ovulating at this stage, but I think I’m 1DPO today (cycle day 15). I’m going to hold out to test as long as possible though think I’ll probably cave on 12 Nov as it’s my birthday! Fingers crossed and baby dust for us all this cycle!

Hello everyone, joining this November group too.

I am on my 3rd IVF cycle (1st - cancelled, 2nd - 1 embryo, fertilised, Day 3 Transfer, did not implant) all of these are within July to October timeframe. We are not wasting any months as I am already at 43 yrs old. We are with the Lister Fertility Clinic and so far was happy with them.

I just finished my baseline scan yesterday (day 8 of cycle). Nurse said my endomitrium is at 5.7mm now and i have 1 dominant folicle on my right at 7mm. A couple of small ones on the left.

Same protocol since last time. Letrozole and Menopur 150iu as I respond more with low dose.

Weve decided to bank embryo if we only get 1 again this cycle and have them PGT A tested. As we would like to transfer 2 to max the chance of implanting.

Dr said reason of not implanting is abnormal embryo which is 75% with my age.

Just need to find that 1 golden egg. 😊

Taken another OPK at 5 DPO, I couldn’t help myself 😂 lines still quite dark! I hope it’s the same case as with my first one and it will result in BFP ! Also found this article online xx

Hi all, joining this thread. Also 30, TT2 #2. This is cycle 1 for me, though due to personal and occupational reasons, this would be most ideal time to conceive.

I'm just entering 2WW. Believe I've ovulating today. DTD this morning, and in days leading up to now, so now we wait!

I took one with fmu and the line was barely there. Read you're not supposed to so I took another one, as well. This is the second one. Hoping it means something as my cervix is still closed and firm but is now high.

Yeah, the same thing happened with me 1st, with the 2nd I wasn’t testing as we wasn’t planned xx

@Jadehiggs I couldn’t help myself and took a pregnancy test… it’s driving me mad as I am the only one who can see a slight hint of a line 😂

I took the picture literally about 5 minutes after taking the test. That was my last one I will go out and get some more tomorrow…
it just seems well too early. The line is barely visible though and so thin, it’s driving me crazy! But I’m am hopeful it’s a good sign xx

Hi everyone had ectopic July this year. Been having a strange sensation of a lump in my throat which has been making me feel nauseous for about 3 days now.. due on 11th of this month had some slight cramping anyway these are tests from this morning. Not sure if I'm imagining lines or not. Could anyone shed their opinion. Thank you. Feeling very anxious about a pregnancy second time round aware I've tested quite early!

I would save your money, and test at least week later. Even a faint positive test at this stage is not a confirmation of pregnancy. But good luck
