So that month, think it was August, I ovulated on CD21 (very late for me) and my cycle was 38 days long. Then September I didn't track and had a month off, now I'm CD13 and waiting for peak using OPK's. The chemical happened on my first cycle month PP (month 12) so it's hard to say what my cycles will be like going forward x

How is everyone doing?

Ive decided to go back to my private doctor (who treated my recurrent miscarriages). My GP had agreed to prescribe the meds protocol but the private dr also offers ovulation induction so you can basically track and confirm ovulation and then time sex perfectly around it. I think that’s what I need this time to try and up the odds!

I had some repeat bloods yesterday to check that the meds are still the right dosage etc and all being well can start trying again in early Jan - aiming for a September baby 💪🏻. Feels quite positive to know I’ve actually done something to help things along, though it was pretty £££ 😬

CD15 - OPK not increasing but CM getting there....waiting game

Hi there! I just got back my test results from the GP and everything is normal. I think I might do that antimullerian test thing too, but I'll have to do it privately.

Everything that involves private Drs is so expensive :x it's shocking!

I'm now on 8/9 dpo... we only did it once, so I'm not getting my hopes up. Not sure when I ovulated lol it's just chaos. I'm alone with the kids this week, I'm exhausted and need to rest for about another week now lol so at least it's keeping obsessive testing out of my mind...

I still haven't received first EC cycle bill, only 1k of grnetic testing, and then medicine cost around another 1k..
Had pre-cycle consultation, very good number of eggs, so dr very positive and optimistic (at least someone!!) I am in a very low mood due to downregg pill, till 13th of November! But then should be better and EC last week of November.

What a difference in medical care logistics! Here I could have had all tests for free but since I didn’t want to wait and have additional healthcare insurance from employer I went for private care ( but also there that primary testing and analysis are no more than maybe 300 euros.
Even IVF is for free until you turn 50.

I have tested with advanced CB opk now and only circles appear for 3rd morning. That is also how I would expect it to be. Fertile window should start tomorrow/ Sunday if chemical didn’t alter my cycle.

@AnaReis can’t send help as there is no cure for our situation 😂 only patience helps and time.

Yesterday I spent the whole day yawning and cranky and really thought I might be pregnant. I should be around 9/10 DPO. I tested today again and BFN, stark white. The one from yesterday is completely white now, so it was probably just the dye... Oh well..... 🙄 When AF arrives I'm going to buy the antimullerian test....

@AnaReis that’s pretty comprehensive. I have hashimotos - is that what you have? - so my private doctor also tested all my anti thyroid antibodies, plus other immune tests because that was the cause of my recurrent mcs. And did normal bloods as well inc iron, vitamin D etc.

The only one that is poss missing is AMH levels which can give you an indication of your ovarian reserve. But tbh I’m not sure how valuable that is as it says nothing about egg quality and there’s nothing you can do about it anyway!

i opted for my GP to do the tests that you’ve had to save some £ and need to get those scheduled in too.

My private doc was very reassuring about my age (36) but I’m definitely less fertile now than when I conceived my kids.

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow yes, that's exactly what I have, Hashimotos.

I think I'm going to do the AMH test anyway... The cheapest I've found is £45, not cheap, but less that the others I've found.

I think my husband might be invited to do a spermogram as well, so we'll see.

Omg I have also thyroid issues but no tests so far is it Hashimoto's or just functional problems. That was one of the things I hoped fertility doc would cover but our meeting yesterday was cancelled and now it’s postponed until 23.11
That was also one of possible reasons why my last pregnancy failed in early phase. I discovered it in June and took too low dose and as hcg was 51 THS was 4,86.
Now dose is corrected so hopefully no more complications from this.

Yes, hypothyroidism can cause miscarriages 😔 that's why I'm a pain in the bottom of my Drs and demand a thyroid test before I start trying and as soon as I get pregnant as well...

Here it seems like there's no explanation why we haven't been able to conceive. It must be my eggs... ? 🤔 Who knows.... 🙄

Another day, another BFN. I think I'm 10/11 DPO so I feel like this isn't our month either... 🙄

I don’t even want to think about THAT testing time yet. Too many solid double stripes from last time ( and that one positive the cycle before that)that lead to nothing still lingers on my mind. I bought fertility set where 3 cheap sensitive tests were added for free so most probably won’t still be able to resist the temptation 😝 and I have a good reason to- AF is due (in case there’s no delay with O) on the same day as fertility doctors appointment. So it’s needed information 😂

My CB gave me first flashing smiley today after 3 blank circles. It should give me at least 2 - 3 more if my cycle already is back to normal.

2dpo and I had a peak on OPK and have now got thrush which for me is a sign I've ovulated.

We managed to DTD twice in the week which seemed like a bit of effort 😝

I have lots of events coming up for drinking and dancing so either way I think I'll be ok. I think come January I might feel different

@MrsPepper82 CD17 today got my peak on OPK. Came in at 3.19! Pretty high for me. DTD today and will again tomorrow🤞🏻

I will introduce myself, hello I'm Weight, I'm almost 30. This is our third cycle ttc no.3 immediately after coming off the combined pill. My kids are 5 and 2. DC1 took 5 cycles and DC2 4 cycles. However we are older, never had any losses before, I'm not in great health (not sure if that would impact or not tbh, still undiagnosed), and DH has a varicocele (although he thinks he's probably had it the whole time but seems it's enlarged more recently). I use Fertility Friend to track my cycles and we try to have sex every other day around the days it suggests but that's all the tracking I do. I never test unless my period is late either. So relatively relaxed about it all and fully understand it could take awhile. Nevertheless, of course would love it to happen as soon as possible. Although I get HG in pregnancy so there's the apprehension of going through that again which means mixed feelings.

I'm so sorry you had HG, it must be horrid. I vomit a lot in my pregnancies, have very bad nausea the whole time I'm awake, I get food aversions to lots of foods and the sensitivity to smells is not very pleasant either (my sofa smelled disgusting, couldn't sit on it during half of my second pregnancy 🤣)... I wonder why I want to go through this again 😅 so I completely understand your apprehension... HG is a terrible beast and many Drs don't take women seriously when they complain about it. 😒

Do your health issues affect your fertility? At 30y you're still quite young😊

I'm on 10/11 DPO, I think... Took another test because I can't be relaxed at all 😅😅 I got another ghost line. Not sure how long after I took the tests did the line appear as I looked at the tests after 1 or 2 minutes, got annoyed as nothing was happening, felt silly and went downstairs. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know HG is awful, although not suffered myself, so I'm completely in awe of anyone who goes through it and then wants to go again 😅😘
You're still a spring chicken! So I hope it happens quickly for you!

DC1 is 6.5 and DC2 is 14 months.....3rd cycle TTC #3 after a chemical in August. I'm 37 so aware is could take longer, and with 2 early losses and my first having a rare genetic condition, I do wonder if it will happen for us but keeping optimistic.

CD19 and OPK suggest ovulation today 😬

I caved in and used a CB rapid, all hopeful due to the phantom line on the IC test... Negative 😭 I'm going to stop testing and wait for AF.... 😞

Hi guys, not even sure where I am in my cycle as never caught my peak on OPK 🤦🏻‍♀️ It was half term and DS1’s birthday so never had time to test twice a day, I think by the numbers I ovulated early too so god knows!

I’ve got tender boobs and cramping so think AF is on her way. Gutted isn’t the word for it because I really believed cycle 9 would be it ☹️
