@Rose38 I hope you see a darker line tomorrow! 😍😍

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow I really hope everything turns out ok ❤️❤️ it must be so stressful these weeks until you do the ultrasound 😖

I don't know if it's the supplements or stopping breastfeeding (would that make a difference already?!), but it looks like my body is gearing up for ovulation nearly 10 days earlier than it had done in previous months!

Of course, we currently we have friends staying with us for the weekend and we haven't DTD since Wednesday, which I didn't think would matter since I wasn't due to ovulate until next weekend!🙈Having said that, my CM is still creamy, so perhaps nothing will happen for a few days with any luck!

For about 4 months after stopping bf, I was ovulating between CD19-21, which is very late for me usually. I'm now back to CD14 which makes sense with a 26-28 day cycle

Supplements definitively change my cycle. B6 lengthen my luteal phase, but didn’t lengthen my overall cycle, so I just ovulated 4 days early instead which totally threw off my dtd plans! Then I’ve been seen cycling this cycle and my follicular phase lengthened meaning I ovulated 3 days later, so we started dtd way too early this month! It’s normally only the first month it changes for and then those changes become the new normal and I’m more regular again.

WhatTheEll · 21/01/2024 08:08

Has anyone had really slow LH dropping after ovulation? Mine normally drops right back to faint. But it's still pretty high 3 days after peak. 🤔
May be because I'm taking supplements too for the first month

Update: the CM changed to fertile yesterday evening and I caught my peak this morning. Somehow managed to fit in DTD early this morning before everyone else woke up, so hopefully we're in with a chance this month after all! Looking back at the cycles I conceived DC 1 and 2 I ovulated on CD 18 both times, so I'm very pleasantly surprised that my cycle seems to be normalising so quickly after introducing supplements and stopping breastfeeding.

I haven't had this, so don't know, sorry. Your LH looks like it might be on a downward trend now, though.

MrsPepper82 · 21/01/2024 17:51

it is always such a relief to catch a clear peak and clarity. And of course even more important is to use that peak time in correct manner 😂
Can’t wait for positive updates from 2 stripe ladies here. It is so inspiring.
CD 2 here and thought I need some cheering up and went on a shopping trip. Got me some a set of red lace to take my DH down🤓only a bit more than a week and my hunting season will begin. I love that there is little time to feel discouraged and out as new targets are so near.

Truly have my hopes up as this is soon now been 3 months where I have had my additional egg quality supplements.

Rose38 · 21/01/2024 18:04

I've become obsessive with the testing 🙈 Because I had the chemical last week I have now become paranoid that I will lose this one too.
I have done 2 tests today. One first thing in the morning with Easy@home & a faint line appeared. The second test I did was Boots and there was a clearer second line on that one. Pic included. I'm thinking I should continue testing and maybe by Wednesday ask the doctors if they can do a blood test to confirm the pregnancy?

I haven't worked for a few years and I now have a second interview for a completely remote 40 hours a week job tomorrow 😱 It's my final interview..I had one earlier this week with a HR member. It feels like everything is happening all at once..feeling completely stressed. Also have my family holiday to Canada in 3 and a half weeks.....

Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow · 21/01/2024 18:38

@Rose38 theres definitely a line in the second one - congratulations!

When is your period due? I’d honestly leave it 48 hrs (the time it takes hcg to double) before testing again, and if you want certainty just keep testing every couple of days.

I know everyone approaches these things differently but I wouldn’t bother with a blood test as the urine tests will give you a conclusive answer if you can wait it out.

I think you should do the interview too if you can - best of luck!

MrsPepper82 · 21/01/2024 19:13

My miscarriage lines looked progressive :( although blood test firmly confirmed CP after 30 hours from home initial analysis. So I distrust stripes totally when it comes to progress checks. Also one can’t tell difference if it’s just rising or doubling as needed.
I also like blood test because one can pay less 16 euros and go and let blood drawn just by walking through without any paperwork needed and 2-4h later you receive notification with number, so very easy and sure way here. I think for me it’s needed as I am control freak 😂

MrsPepper82 · 21/01/2024 19:14

@Rose38 for me it definitely looks a lot more pronounced line than on first picture 🤞

Rose38 · 21/01/2024 19:21

@MrsPepper82 I'm like you...I feel like I can't trust the line now..not until I see it getting darker. It feels like I am waiting for the line to disappear like the previous cycle when I had a chemical pregnancy. Even my husband doesn't seem to be letting himself react to the positive tests just yet.

Here in the UK the blood tests are free. Let me see how next week goes...just praying that this sticks..

MrsPepper82 · 21/01/2024 20:33

That is the hardest part - kind of getting there with lines on a test but not making it till finish line 🥺
Here you have free test when doctors say you need to go but that early I don’t plan to ask them. Well last time still because I suspected UTI or kidney issues and ruled out pregnancy

Rose38 · 23/01/2024 07:21

So far tests seem to be getting darker each day little by little. This is today's Clearblue digital. So fingers crossed it continues.

Had my interview yesterday morning and went well. They will let me know outcome in 2 to 3 weeks so hopefully I should know before I go on holiday.

How's everyone else doing?

Congratulations! It's lovely when you see that progression, isn't it?!

I'm 2DPO, and I'm a self confessed testing addict, but will be sitting on my hands to stop myself testing until at least 8DPO! I conceived first cycle of trying with my first two, but I think this time it'll be more of an uphill battle just because my hormones haven't fully regulated yet since stopping breastfeeding and I know my cycle has been a bit random compared to the last two times I conceived.

Rose38 · 23/01/2024 08:00

I am the same..always testing & I always symptom spot too 😂😂 Last two pregnancies were quite quick and this is the longest it has taken for me.

Hopefully you get your BFP soon 🤞

Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow · 23/01/2024 09:08

Congratulations @Rose38! and for the interview as well!

In my first 4 pregnancies (3mcs and DC1) I was obsessed with testing and symptom spotting but each one was quite different with symptoms and I lost 3 of them despite good line progression so it kind of put me off and was not good for my mental health! With the next 2 (mc no 4 and DC2) I only tested twice and then waited for the early scan and was much more zen about it all.

Following that approach this time too. I think I’m 5 weeks today and still feeling basically normal, except for awful bloating in the evening! And still haven’t told DH 🙈

Rose38 · 23/01/2024 09:45

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow My husband still doesn't believe it fully..I think it's because of the chemical pregnancy last month. Probably wants to wait a bit longer before feeling any excitement...I suppose I feel the same.

I went online and saw that you have to do self referrals when pregnant (same as it was last time when I had #2). I might just fill that in and see if they think I need an early scan or anything. What week did you have the early scan? I think I had one at around 6 weeks in my first pregnancy.

Congratulations!!

Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow · 23/01/2024 10:07

@Rose38 I think 6 weeks is the earliest you can see a heartbeat. I’m going to hold out until 7 weeks this time because I’m not completely sure of my dates and I want it to be conclusive. My losses were all caused by an autoimmune issue and never got to heartbeat stage.

In my area they don’t refer you for an early scan unless you have had recurrent mcs (3+), so I’ve previously booked private ones.

If you’re not in a huge rush then the best time is probably 9 weeks as miscarriage rates plummet from 9 weeks on so if the scan goes well then it’s a pretty reliable result.

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow and @Rose38 how are you both feeling?? 💜

I'm 4DPO and just saw the tiniest bloody streak in my CM. Bit odd. Too early for implantation and too late for ovulation spotting 🤔🤔

Rose38 · 23/01/2024 15:41

@WhatTheEll I have been having an upset stomach for the last 5 or 6 days usually every morning. I read lots of posts of other people having the same thing so I'm guessing it must be from the pregnancy. Have been having a lot of stretching pain.
Today I feel like I could fall asleep right now because I feel that tired. We went into London to do some holiday shopping and it really tired me out.

Are you sure you didn't ovulate earlier than you thought maybe?

Oooww I hope you're managing ok. Yes I've heard the same about upset stomach in beginning of pregnancy.

Pretty sure I ovulated CD14, as peak on CD13, and in CD18 today. But saying that I tested 12 hours apart on CD13 because I was in London so at a push, I guess I could have ovulated then but who knows?! 😆
