TTC baby no2. Dpo 4. Anyone else?

From this month on, we are trying for an other baby.

I know that it might take some time, but I have a strong feeling that it happened this month. I had a similar intuition with my first child - I just knew it. I'm afraid I'll be extremely disappointed if the result is negative.

I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way and I will get some support here. I feel lonely this time around- cant really talk to anyone about it except my husband (who is very relaxed and doesnt get that this is the only thing on my mind right now). Looking for some support here!

Hopefully not, try to leave it a few days, I know it's hard 😔 but sounds like a positive. I came on this morning 🙈

@MrsP21918 Sunday for me. BFN today, silly to do it so early but I did it anyway!

I was looking back at my last pregnancy, I got a vvvvfl at 7/8DPO on an IC, I thought it was a faulty test so emailed the company saying these shouldn't be sold, I would like my money back because it wasn't even being picked up on a FRER & a few days later I got my BFP on a CB digital 😂🙈🙈

@ReginaPhalange12 Ah it’s so hard not to test though, I can feel myself getting desperate and feel like I’ll crack in the next few days 😂 trying to at least wait until Monday.
Oh no way!! I can’t remember how many DPO I was last time, but it can vary can’t it according to when you implanted etc so you’re definitely not out yet. Hope AF stays away! I am feeling super hormonal and teary so I really think AF is coming

@MrsP21918 it really is. I'm feeling emotional too, I cried twice last night over such small & silly things, I feel so quick to anger too. Let's hope these signs are a BFP result and not AF 🤞🏽

@ReginaPhalange12 I’ve just started bleeding so that’s me out 😞 5 days early and meaning my luteal phase was 6 days so feeling very disheartened.

How is everyone today? I'm 8dpo and I've been feeling a bit funny today. Probably not related but I've been feeling a little nauseated, dizzy, refluxy, cramps etc. Could be anything I suppose. I really want to test but know I should hold off. I had my bfp at 11dpo previously and it was strong at 11dpo so wonder if I'll get a faint line at 9dpo tomorrow morning if I'm lucky? Someone talk me out of it!

@HRHXO I caved today after promising I wouldn't! I'm 8dpo so crazily early, obviously a bfn! Just so wanting to be pg x

I can’t tell if I’m imagining symptoms or not…. Do I get sore boobs when I’m not TTC, and I just don’t notice??

Does anyone else have this?

this is my second cycle for baby 2. First baby was first cycle so I’m finding this all very emotionally challenging!

@Pupsandturtles i do get sore boobs a few days before AF but not every cycle enough to notice.

I am hungry, exhausted and emotional today, so I’m like you, is this a symptom of possible pg or just because I’m having a v stressful week and AF is incoming?!
I have no idea when I actually ovulated (as in which day) , I’m going off my iPhone health app of my fertile window and I am going to try and hold out testing til the day before my predicted AF (unless it comes early).
I tried using Premom app and ovulation sticks and found it so stressful so a bit worried I’m hoping to be pregnant but wildly miscalculated my fertile window.

I'm similar to you @FSGirl I only use my prediction on my app for ovulation, so I could be miles out. I think I'm about 8dpo but I have no idea really. AF is meant to be due on Thursday I think but I'm expecting it earlier. Might have a sneaky test on Sunday if AF doesn't arrive then.

How early do you all test? Is 10dpo insane??

I always get my symptoms first before the positive: I have had sore boobs since yesterday and now and my test came back positive this afternoon (I didn't want to test but my husband got too excited about my yesterday's faint line that he bought me an early prediction test 😅).
I never get sore boobs only when pregnant!

It is very emotionally challenging...the waiting and testing! I thought after a healthy baby I would be more relaxed but more stressed.

@TTCNoTWO @Pupsandturtles well I just stupidly tested at 8dpo at 6pm with a wee I only held for 2 hours. Of course bfn. Very disappointed in myself! Still time though...

@HRHXO which tests are you using? 8dpo is definitely too early, its just so exciting though isn't it! I'm a major POAS addict 🙈😆
I'm out of options if this month is unsuccessful too, weve tried everything! Even joined slimming world to get to a better weight now. Just trying all I can. My first was conceived within a month but sadly mc. Then my DS was conceived 1st try too, so now on month 5 trying for my second it's horrible! I'm 2 years older though x

I‘m not even 8dpo and I did a cheapie test this morning, bfn (obviously - because it’s way too early 🙈) I have 100s of the cheap ones though so reserving the early detection one for later on.

@TTCNoTWO I just used the easy@home cheapiea but I got my bfp on them at 11dpo with ds. It took 10 months to conceive ds and he's 14 months (12 corrected). It's only cycle 1 ttc no2 but I get so addicted and obsessed!

@FSGirl omg I'm a POAS addict too I think I might wait until Sunday 11dpo now though. We shall see lol

We are on our second cycle ttc our 2nd baby. Our son is now 3 1/2. I had a difficult pregnancy and a traumatic birth, so needed time to consider if we wanted to try for a 2nd.
But we slways wanted 2 kids and I am now in a better headspace. But I am now also in my later 30s.

It took us 1 1/2 years to conceive our son. The cycle I conceived him I didn't get a bfp until 4 days after AF is due. And I had a light line. So I want to try to avoid testing before AF is late.

The best indicator I was pregnant was that my BBT and RHR didn't drop. Usually it starts to drop around 7 or 8 dpo.

According to FF I am 9dpo. And so I felt excited this morning that my bbt and rhr were still stable and high. Plus I have been having some very very mild cramping since 7dpo.

However I am now starting to feel unsure about when I actually ovulated. And what dpo I am.
I am not sure if it is still high because I might have conceived.
Or if I actually ovulated much later.
My follicular phase bbt and not getting a fully positive opk really make it difficult to determine. But I kept testing with opks until 2 days ago and they never got darker again.

What do you ladies think?

I really don't want to get my hopes up and then have AF stomp all over them.

@FigandHoney my ovulation tests looked the same as yours, I guess CD13 is the strongest one and actually quite a bit darker than the rest, I actually gave up as I was stressing about taking photos. Also is just me, or did you find it hard to get the photos of the lines to show up in the darker evenings drawing in and testing recommended later in the day? I kept thinking the C line on mine looked darker than on photos so found it frustrating!!
In the end I just went with cervical mucus and my other ovulation symptoms (bloating and being quick to anger…lucky DH). I’m not temping at all, but might start in a few cycles if we don’t have any luck beforehand.

Does anyone else normally feel quite emotional during their luteal/2ww? I haven’t really noticed before but usually have lower mood.
I feel like I’m all over the place today - had a v stressful morning with a poorly patient (work in healthcare) and breezed through all the usual decision making stuff and had to be very “on” supporting colleagues - then randomly cried at a training video this afternoon that I’ve seen a hundred times before (I was delivering the training…) then 3 x at Gogglebox and Greys anatomy tonight…

@FSGirl Thanks. So you think FF is correct and that I did ovulate sometime around CD12 or CD13. I just suddenly got worried that I might have ovulated later. For some reason premom thinks I have ovulated CD16. But that's 4 days after what I think was my LH surge.
I know you can't really tell from the chart if you are pregnant or not until you get a bfp.
But it was the main difference between all my other cycles and the one I conceived. Symptoms have a tendency to appear in any cycle so I don't trust them.
I actually didn't find the premom app to bad in terms of logging my tests. But I paid less attention to the actual number.
I am not organised enough to do the neat sticking it manually on a sheet. I always forget it and get the sticks jumbled up. So by taking the pictures I have a definite record.
