Wow, you go away for a few days and look what happens! This thread was really well-named! HUGE congratulations to Twiga, Colinsmommy and muppetmentality. I can't tell you how thrilled I am for you all. Particularly nice for me to hear of the good news following miscarriage. How lovely that you'll all be on the 'expecting in August' thread together.
Also LOVELY to have Becki back. Becki, you've been really missed. We started a thread asking after you - did you see it? I'm sorry you've been having a hard time, hon; just ease yourself back in as and when. But we're all thrilled to hear from you.
Rudy, Canadianmom and cockensize - so sorry to hear about your af. Cockenzie, I don't think you should be too worried. The average length of time it takes to get pregnant is six months, and they wouldn't usually start fertility investigations until you'd been trying for 12 months. Then there is the issue of you breastfeeding; I know that women can and do get pg while breastfeeding, but there is a reason why generations of women have considered it an imperfect-but-better-than-nothing contraceptive! By all means ask your doctor about a blood test to check you are ovulating OK, but I suspect s/he may tell you that you are worrying unnecessarily.
ernest - I don't think you should worry about one light period. If you start having a series of light periods, I would definitely get it checked out, but one light period is probably a blip (or implantation bleeding - how many days since your last normal period?)
Tania - you poor love, I know this is a really rough time for you. I'm so glad that your MIL, at least, showed some sensitivity to your feelings. Big hugs to you.
Does anyone think we should get one of our lovely graduates to start a 'TTC 17: New year, new baby' thread?
