Aah to all of you living in limbo and hardly daring to hope right now... I really hope we're about to see some BFPs!

So, DH and I didn't manage to dtd yesterday which was ovulation. We did do the two days previous... so... we're in with a chance. But I felt completely dejected earlier and sobbed on DH because I felt we've not done enough this cycle and next month is THE due date... it all got too much... 😬 Such fun!! Might go for it tonight just in case we've had long ovulation and egg survival windows but... onto the tww we go. Will be joining you all in the 'I'm not symptom spotting this cycle buuut...' very soon!!

@SnookyPook you had sex both days before ovulation so in with a really good chance. Everything online says that the day before (and obviously the day of) stand you in good chances, even up until 2 days after:

Thinking of you lots though as it’s hard not to analyse whether you’ve “done enough” each cycle. We can all be so hard on ourselves.

DTD again tonight and enjoy the process and know that we are all here for you in the meantime.

Just catching up as had a bit of a break from the thread and time to reset.

Back to the smiley face OPK tests, think I’ll start them in a day or 2 as I don’t ovulate until CD17 it seems.

I only have a 28 cycle and a 10 day luteal. Is 10 days too short?

@SnookyPook i feel the same, my due date was the 17th october :( ... really thought i would have been pregnant again by now.. been clearing out cupboards and draws like am bloody nesting. Swear my brains still confused lol cd11 here so heres too another go lol

Evening ladies,

Started spotting tonight so assuming AF will be here in the morning, feel like hiding in bed and crying if I’m honest, I was so convinced this month would be it after the two tests the other day, obviously not meant to be.

@SnookyPook its only this month am thinking the same as you that the sooner that date comes and goes the better. Move on so to speak. Good luck to you too. I think i can remember you from another group, journey after a mc march 2023 or something like that?

I’m sorry to hear that @H0pefull . You had two lines on two different brands..?! I can’t believe they were both indents. I hope you’re ok. Test again tomorrow just to be extra sure that you’re not in fact pregnant with slight spotting (which can happen). If AF is here, look after yourself this weekend ❤️

I’ve been reading for a while and it’s finally time for me to join the crew!

I’m 38 and trying for number 2 (with a new partner).

I’ve been on the combined pill until last week and my withdrawal bleed is just coming to an end. When I had my 1st it took 6 months from stopping the pill until having my first proper cycle so I have no idea what kind of time line I’ll be on now!

my spotting did turn into AF so I’m out. Glad to see the back of that 59 day cycle but it really felt different over the past few days - mainly much more sore boobs and milder cramps than usual. Just another reminder to myself to ignore symptoms in the TWW. Somehow I find AF arriving less upsetting than BFNs, and I do like holding on to hope as long as I can!
on to cycle 6 and I have day 2 blood tests to do tomorrow that the GP has requested. I’ve also talked with DH about getting a sperm analysis at the same time - this would be private.
does anyone recommend any online sperm analysis services? I’m ideally looking for one that does DNA fragmentation and the other additional things rather than just a basic count.

Had another faint line last night similar to my other two, but woke up this morning with AF in full force so potentially another chemical.

Appreciate this is dramatic but feel like it’s never going to happen for me

Oh @H0pefull Im so sorry. It’s such a cruel process. None of us expected to have to go through this cycle again and again. Have you got some nice things you can look forward to over the coming days? I will probably bury myself in work and distractions. I don’t know how healthy that is, but it’s so painful otherwise. Take care of yourself x

Superdrug has one that looks at , @ least 3 things

How long have you been trying ?
Have you had a transvaginal scan ?
Are you taking regular vit D ?
Regular b6 ?
Regular zinc ?

Have youhad your feretin - b12 & vit d looked at ?

this has happened to me so many times, a glimmer of hope and then the bleeding. sending you big hugs love and you are not on your own x

Those of you with positive preg tests & then periods - have you logged this with drs ?
Have you had progesterone checked ?

Have you ever done clear blue digital & had it say pregnant and 1 - 2weeks ?
Get it logged on your nhs record as you may get more help in the future

After my early miscarriage - Tommys advised 4 thyroid function test check - results came back fine but thought id share the advice incase it helps amyone

@H0pefull sending you the most enormous hug. You're not being dramatic at all - it's an exhausting and draining process, and particularly hard when you've had that glimmer of hope, only for it to be snatched away. It's ok to feel sad. Take a few days to regroup and maybe try and find something nice to do for yourself so you feel a bit pampered and loved. We're all here with you ❤️
