Hi everyone
I think our previous thread is full? I can't find a new one anyone has started but sorry if I've missed it. I'll tag some of us below but please add anyone I've missed

Congratulations @LucyLoopyLu, it’s such an exciting scan isn’t it, they change so quickly and really look like babies at the 12 week scan compared to little blobs at early scans! X

DesertSnow · 17/06/2024 16:23

Congratulations @LucyLoopyLu, that's wonderful news! Thanks for letting us know, so pleased for you 😊

Welshgal85 · 17/06/2024 21:09

Congratulations @LucyLoopyLu so glad all is looking good 😊

HeathenPlayingHouse · 19/06/2024 01:00

Congratulations @LucyLoopyLu, fantastic news! I'm so glad it went well x

HeathenPlayingHouse · 28/06/2024 15:41

Hi all, just thought I'd update.

I had my scan at EPAU today- no picture since it wasn't much to see.

But the good new is that baby is in the womb where it's supposed to be, measuring at 6w4d (right on track with dates) and with a visible heartbeat 😍

They also prescribed me progesterone pessaries until 14 weeks. My local chemist doesn't carry them but said they could get them in for me by Monday. So all in all, it's been a good day.

krissy12 · 28/06/2024 18:44

@HeathenPlayingHouse that's great news congratulations
re. the progesterone get liners or wear your oldest pants they're very messy 😂

@LucyLoopyLu how are you?

Houseelf90 · 28/06/2024 18:47

Congratulations @HeathenPlayingHouse 🥰

LucyLoopyLu · 28/06/2024 20:13

@HeathenPlayingHouse great news! So pleased for you! And I'm sure having the progesterone will be a weight off your mind too. I have to admit I'm not missing them though 😂 they are so messy. Panty liners an absolute must!

@krissy12 I'm doing ok thanks, our screening results came back low risk which was good. The down syndrome risk wasn't as low as lots of other people's but still low so I'm just not stressing about that. I'm 35 so I guess naturally it's going to be a bit higher than some others. I'm also feeling much better this week which is a relief - nausea has pretty much gone apart from at odd moments, I've had less headaches and have a bit more energy. Still tired but not the crazy exhaustion I had before. Next appointments are to see the obstetrician and then my midwife again at 16-17 weeks.

Congrats @HeathenPlayingHouse , that's great to hear!

Also good to read your update @LucyLoopyLu and I'm glad some of the symptoms have eased off. Try not to overthink the screening results, as you say, age is a factor and if there was anything to worry about, they would tell you.

HeathenPlayingHouse · 02/07/2024 09:39

Thank you all ❤️

And you were definitely right about the mess @krissy12 😂

HeathenPlayingHouse · 02/07/2024 09:40

Fab to read your update @LucyLoopyLu, I'm glad you're feeling a bit better ❤️

HeathenPlayingHouse · 01/08/2024 14:10

Hello all, hope everyone is well and coping with this heat! 😂

Just checking in with an update- I'm currently 11w3d so this pregnancy has passed where my MC started last time. Still taking the progesterone for another few weeks, definitely looking forward to that ending.

I've got my dating scan booked for next Thursday morning. I'm really nervous but I'm just reminding myself that it's out of my hands.

Hopefully I don't go too crazy counting this next week down!

Houseelf90 · 01/08/2024 17:21

@HeathenPlayingHouse ahh that’s so exciting! Fingers crossed all is well next week and you see a wriggly little baby on that screen! 🥰

krissy12 · 01/08/2024 19:02

ahhh exciting @HeathenPlayingHouse I think being nervous is completely natural and tbh I don't think it goes away and even when they are born there's always something to worry about think it's one of the joys of kids 😀

LucyLoopyLu · 01/08/2024 20:10

@HeathenPlayingHouse so happy to see your update and really glad you're still doing well. I will keep my fingers crossed for next week for you. Try and look after yourself the next few days.

I have my 20 week scan on the same day and I'm also getting very nervous! I really hope everything is ok in there.

Thank you all ❤️

@LucyLoopyLu How exciting, that's come around quickly!

I'll be thinking of you, look forward to your update xx

LucyLoopyLu · 05/08/2024 14:08

@HeathenPlayingHouse thinking of you this week! Hope you're not as stressed and anxious as me. Can't wait for the scan to be done. Sending you lots of good thoughts x

@HeathenPlayingHouse and @LucyLoopyLu good luck with your scans this week! Thinking of you both. Hope you will update us.

@LucyLoopyLu are you going to find out the sex?

LucyLoopyLu · 05/08/2024 19:58

@DesertSnow hi. Thank you, yeah, we will find out if we can! Hopefully they won't be crossing their legs

HeathenPlayingHouse · 06/08/2024 15:22

@LucyLoopyLu @DesertSnow I'm doing ok, thank you ❤️

Definitely feeling more nervous as we get closer, but I'm just trying to take things a day at a time. This has been my first week back in the office (2 days a week) in about a month, and it has floored me- I had gotten very spoiled from a few weeks without 5am starts 😂

All good practice again though lol!

LucyLoopyLu · 06/08/2024 15:30

@HeathenPlayingHouse 5am is definitely too early for me! I'm not a morning person and I really struggle with a work early start when I have to go to our (far away) office, but it's only every now and again. Twice a week sounds hard, especially if you're getting home late as well! I'm going to be rubbish with sleepless nights - I feel sorry for my husband!

DesertSnow · 06/08/2024 21:21

@LucyLoopyLu ah how exciting! At my 20 week scan baby wasn't playing ball at all but I had to do lots of jiggling to try and get the important measurements, so they managed to see. Still remember my shock! It's quite a moment.

DesertSnow · 08/08/2024 08:29

@LucyLoopyLu and @HeathenPlayingHouse good luck with your scans today, I'm thinking of you both. Do let us know how you get on if you feel ok with doing that xxx

krissy12 · 08/08/2024 11:38

hope the scans go well today ❤️

LucyLoopyLu · 08/08/2024 11:49

Hi everyone, thanks for your good wishes. Everything was fine at the scan this morning. I'm so relieved! Baby is a girl, which is what I thought although I don't know why!
