In answer to your question - yes you can have af's if you don't ov. It may be worth taking a trip to the docs? When are you testing with you ov strips? You may be oving at a different point of your cycle than you think. It is a bit of a myth that you ov 14 days before your af - that is the average over all of the millions of women in the world.

Hi all,
hope everyone is well, I am tired today after a long day at school, it was parents' evening, which dragged on till 8pm. They are so boring!!! Maybe I'll feel differently about them when I'm a parent myself!

I am just trying to remember where everyone is up to at the moment - I know that AF has just hit Wilmouse and BB - really sorry you two. Bellie on the 2WW, and Carolyn kind of on the 2WW, but trying to figure out what's going on with ov sticks. HC just a month more till officially TTC. How about others? Where is everyone else up to? Any testers soon? Anyone madly BDing at the moment? Have we heard from Angel recently? Has she been back on since her Australia dilemma? What about soosy, I don't think she's been here for a while. I just want to make sure I'm up to date with everyone, so if there is anyone else who wants to update, please let me know!!

Aw willmouse-naughty AF but now time to try for that January baby. The kitten situation sounds very difficult as it affects so many people. Hope you make the right decision.

carolyn-lol, I didn't get a +ive on my OV sticks last month despite sometimes doing 2 a day. I think it is true that you don't OV every month and that is why it is so damn difficult to TTC. I will be weeing on sticks tomorrow onwards (CD6). It is the last month of finding out when I OV and so far I haven't a clue so I am thinking of girls names already.

morning to everyone else!! We are going on a train today (2 stops!!) as dd loves it and it makes for a morning out. Nice coffee shop the other end and then home!!

p.s lost another 1lb today - so have lost 19lbs in 12 weeks!!

Hi Pinkmook. I have just read your thread. Some Doctors just don't know what they're talking about and I'm glad you've found someone who talked some sense! I had blood tests done before I had DS1 which showed on that particular month (September) I did not ovulate - but then I concieved in the December so don't get too desponsent about it. I am obviously an infrequent ovulator!

Kitten matter has got worse. Due to Dad's heart attack. I feel like shit now (sorry to swear) becuase although I know he is allergic to cats I didn't even consider his health and we have told Ds that we are getting the cat now

Oh willmouse, DS will be fine about your decision. Can you get him a special toy instead? I know it is not the same but you really can't have a cat can you? {{hugs}}

Bellie-it is obvious that we will get DD No3 which is fine BTW so am thinking Chloe or Charlotte Your weight loss is fab!!!

At the hairdressers this morning but mum and dad are now poorly so mum can't come. Was going to rearrange but DD1 needs a hair cut desperately and I need pampering so am still going but don't know how I will keep my eye on the girls. Also must go into town-aaarrrggghhh!!! Still feel not so good and have a terrible gripe and can hardly eat.

Right, had better go as military precision oragnistation is required today.

I have given up hope of having a girl.

Ds1 has just entered the "silly boy" phase of his life (and let's face it they never grow out of toilet humour, stupid jokes and talking nonesense do they ).

Wow, you lot have been chatty and my memory is more crap now than ever and I am not organised enough to do the word thing, so if I miss anything or anyone, I am sorry, I don't mean to!

HC, I am sorry you still aren't feeling too good, I hope it passes soon and that everyone is feeling fighting fit soon. I am also LOL at you already thinking of girls names!

Juanitad, I bet you were knackered! I should imagine it's tiring anyway, but especially so with baby on board.

Willmouse, I am sorry that AF got you, but now you can really go at it for a January babe! Also sorry to hear about your kitten situation, I am sure your ds will understand. I too have given up hope of a girl and have resigned myself to a life of potty talk and toilet humour, or and blantant re-arranging of bits, checking they are still there and haven't dropped off, LOL!

MJIM: Feeling pretty fat here too, lol! LOVE you girls names, especially Caitlyn & Matilda, but like you say, they will be shortened undoubtedly. Connor doesn't really get shortened, but Jamie gets called J (although he tells me right now that he is Sonic.....damn mario olympics has alot to answer for!). I also wouldn't put much stock into your ds's guess of a baby girl. Ds1 swore it was a girl when i was pregnant with ds2. I was glad I found out that time as I had another 20 weeks to convince him that it was infact his brother!

Also waves to Bellie, BB, Soosy, Angel (anyone heard from her?), Carolyn and says welcome to Pinkmook!

As for me, I am fine if a little tired. I am suffering from evening headaches, which i guess is better than evening sickness. Just as was heading to bed last night, I bumped into ds2 on the landing (I am sure BB will understand my scared reaction as I thought he was sick). Turned out the poor lad had had a massive nose bleed. The bathroom was pretty much a blood bath as the silly little man sneezed mid flow and it went EVERYWHERE! As it wasn't sick, I was more than happy to comfort him and clean him up. Took nearly half an hour to clean up the bathroom, the bed and ds1. He did ever so well to only get 1 small drop on our new-ish carpet. Ahhhh, the joys of having kids, lol! Guess I should get on with washing said bedclothes!

One of my fave names is Olivia (but it is one I suggested to best friend many moons ago so it is my Goddaughters middle name).

Hey everyone thanks for welcomng me in!

Have seen the nurse now and am to go back between days 1-3 for first blood test (scared!)

Now I have introduced myself I may not be around that much after tomorrow as we are off to centreparcs for a long weekend

I agree with will mouse - Matilda is a beautiful name

Pinkmook I am very jealous of you trip. We usually go to Centerparcs twice a year but are trying to cut back! DS1 has already noticed and often begs us to phone and book!

My DS is the same - he LOVES centreparcs! I am not too keen however as it means I am forced to reveal my pasty unlovley flesh to all and sundry in the swimming pool !

We are going to the Whinfell Forest one - which one do you usually go to?

We usually go to Sherwood as it only takes us about and hour and a quarter to get there. I actually can't face going again we have been so often. If we go again we will go to the one in the Lakes (is that Whinfell?).

Ohhh, I am liking the talk of centreparcs as we are going for the first time in September, Sherwood forest as it is the closest to us. I think I must be slightly mad as can't imagine myself riding a bike at 34 weeks, or even waddling through the woods, never mind getting what will undoubtedly be my HUGE belly into a swimming cossy. Still, I bet my boys (including dh) will enjoy it!

I went at about 34 weeks, it was a relief to get in the pool! You just have to be carefull as it can get a bit slippy and it is a bit hot in the dome and my ankles swole slightly - nothing I could't cope with.

Which accommodation are you staying in?

LOL myjob, I don't blame you for not wanting to carry your ds. DS2 is only 30ish lb and I am getting to the point of not wanting to carry him either, it's a little uncomfy. As for ds1's nosebleed, one of them things I think, he gets them fairly regularly, but usually during the day. I have managed to save the bedding, but it went through to the pillow and the duvet itself, so I see me either trying to wash those or giving in and buying new ones.

Willmouse, I think I will be looking forward to the pool,if only to feel lighter, lol! Just have to find myself something to wear. We are going for 4 days at the end of Sept and staying in a cofort 2 bed villa I think. Dh saw an offer in the paper for £100 off, so we decided to give it a try.
