The Up and Down Roller Coaster has arrived and is in my lounge due to the snow forecast (I must be mad).

They love it!

carolyn1941 · 03/04/2008 16:44

hows it going with the 2 boys majormoo?

I just bought a bb thermometer off ebay (like HCs I think). Hope it works!

juanitad · 03/04/2008 17:23

Afternoon everyone,

It is a lovely sunny day here...the world seems like a better place when the sun shines! I have now caught up on all the news of the BD every other night thread, so I think I am fully in the picture.

Majormoo - your news is so exciting!! I guess it's a bit confusing also, and I can understand you not wanting to get too excited after last month, but I really hope that this time it works out for you. Surely 5 BFPs can't be wrong??!! Sending the stickiest of sticky vibes your way..............

MJIM - I think of those names, my favourite is Ethan, I don't know why, maybe cos it seems a little bit unusual/uncommon, but not so much that no-one has heard of it or no-one would know how to spell it or pronounce it. Working in a school means you get put off by certain names, but in fact I don't think I teach a single Ethan, so that name seems a bit more unique to me. Anywa, whatever you call him (if it's a boy!!) I'm sure your baby will be lovely and squishy and cuddly.

Angel - a very tricky dilemma you have there, I have no idea what I would do in your situation, but I'm sure you'll make the decision that is the right one for you and DP. Or maybe you'll get your BFP this month and the decision will be made for you!!

Can't remember if it was Bellie or belgianbun who said they had sore boobs..., sorry, rubbish memory, and I only read it a few minutes ago. Anyway, fingers and toes crossed that it's a sign....!!

Carolyn - thanks for alerting everyone to my whereabouts, so I wasn't flagged up as a missing person!! Barcelona was fab. Our friends who live there took us to some great places that you just wouldn't find as a tourist, so I felt like we got to see the 'real' Barcelona!

And to everyone else, I hope all is well, that BDing is progressing well, or that the 2WW isn't too slow. HC, not long for you now, just another month, great stuff!!

Phew, done I think!

HumphreysCorner · 03/04/2008 20:21

Lordy, has taken me ages to catch up. I lost access on Monday and got it back on Wednesday night. Tried Facebook Tuesday then my Nortons Antivirus went funny again. Not Facebook related even though the virus came from a link I clicked on in the Addicted to Lost Group Wall. Felt like I had lost a part of me with not being able to MN.

Well, can't reply to everyone but have to say majormoo-I really hope this is good news and you just had a bleed like may friend did every month for about the first 4 months. She never knew she was PG until her AF stopped. Happy B'Day!

Angel-what a chance of a lifetime. Bet you get a BFP but that would be excellent too.

Welcome BeMyLilBaby and lots of luck TTC. Sorry to hear about your MC Had one myself before DD2 and it was so nervewracking being PG with her.

Bellie-it is so hard when everyone is getting PG all around you isn't it. {{hugs}}

carolyn-hope our council doesn't do that as ours is more than that and DH doesn't earn anywhere near the annual amount.

juanitad-glad you had a great time.

We are the family ill here and today I have a sore throat from hell and feel lousy. We are going to watch the Dancing on Ice in Sheffield on Saturday so will dose myself up. My PIL have picked up the new Motorhome and are now trying to arrange to meet up with us when we go caravanning. Lovely not! Think it is time I went to Spain to live-on my own!

Anyway, am loving my new thermometer and my chart looks so different. Can't wait to get AF and start CD1. FF has told me I had implantation spotting on CD25-ha ha! I did have some unexplained bleeding but it would be an immaculate conception.

Better go as I should think there will be another million posts appeared while I have been typing. Hello to everyone else

HC

Carolyn ? lol at your DH. If it makes you feel better, me and Dh always used to joke about his ?slow swimmers? based on the fact that DH is the slowest swimmer EVER!

Willmouse ? good news about this weekend but sorry it is so complicated ? families always are aren?t they?

Bemy ? I have 40 OPKs sat in my cupboard which I am quite happy to post to you as I would rather they went to a good home than just gathered dust. If you want them either CAT me through MN or e-mail me on binnscharlotte at hotmail dot com (or anyone else if they would like them )

Majormoo ? how did the afternoon go? I bet you are tucked up in bed as we speak

HC ? could the bleeding be ovulation bleeding ? I definitely used to get that (although it was the tiniest tiniest amount). Dancing on Ice ? am v ? mmmm Kyran Bracken and Chris Fountain ? yummy

Belgian ? will keep everything crossed for you!

Hi to everyone else ? feeling ok today but have totally pigged out as I am craving stodge, salt and cheese ? but I figure I am going to have to eat whatever it takes to get me through the days at the moment. Will try eating healthier when the MS passes. Weird thing is I have gone completely off chocolate ? and I LOVE LOVE LOVE chocolate so much ? but the thought of it turns my stomach atm. Now if only I could crave fruit, veg and salad??.

evening all

BB - oohh keeping everything (well not quite everything - cd9 ) crossed for you. How long are you going to hold out for?

ceebee - I think you are right about eating whatever to get you through the first stages. I went off caffine big time with dd - maybe it is the caffeine in the chocolate that is turning your stomach? (although I made up for it from12 weeks on - I used to eat 6 creme eggs in one go

Hope everyone else had a good day - I am off to a farm with dd and some of her nursery friends tomorrow so pray for the rain to stay away!!

juanitad · 04/04/2008 12:22

What's been going on with MN this morning? Today is the last day of my school hols (so jealous of you bb, just starting your hols!), so I was looking forward to a very lazy day - watching crappy morning telly and doing some MNing, but it's been poorly all morning!

HC - have fun at dancing on ice. I am going to, although on Sunday rather than Saturday, so we'll have to compare notes! I'm really looking forward to it, I also went to Strictly Come Dancing in Sheffield in Feb, that was fab.

bb - I'm not Spanish, but I am a Spanish teacher and have lived in Spain in the past, hence me adopting a Spanish name for MN!

How's everyone doing today? What exciting plans have people got for the weekend?

MrsPuddleduck · 04/04/2008 12:37

Well I must admit I am glad Mumsnet was down this morning - I managed to get loads of houswork done and even hoovered under my sofa (not sure I should admit what I found under there though!).

Have FIL for weekend with partner so I can cope with that.

DH off to Wembley on Saturday to watch the semi-final - can't help but think I am getting the short straw being stuck at home with the boys yet again at least Mum is coming around to keep me company

Af due next Thursday - when is anyone else testing?

hello everyone - I went shopping as MN was down and this is the last day of my holidays! I bought a microwave steriliser in the sale (reduced from £15.99 to £5!). ...well you all said I'd need one! I feel a bit like it's tempting fate but then the 'yorkshire' part of me says it's good to get stuff in the sales!

Fingers but not legs crossed for BB - you are very restrained as I had tested by this stage last month! Hope you get a BFP!!!!

HC - very odd about your cycle. Is the thermometer good then? Going to start with mine tomorrow (CD14 of 31) so should be perfect to catch the egg!

LOL about the cravings ceebee and MJIM. My sister went through about 3 steak pies a day for a while with her ds! Was joking the other day that I will probably want pork pies or something I hate!

Glad all is going well Juanitad - have you told anyone yet? You must be getting excited?

Hey MJIM - have you got a bump yet? Dreamt about your bump last night!!! (not in scary stalker type way I promise!)

carolyn1941 · 04/04/2008 15:02

Oh MAJORMOO!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

ceebee74 · 04/04/2008 16:47

Happy Birthday Majormoo!! Hope you are having a wonderful day and being treated like royalty!!

when I couldn't get into mn this morning I asked dd if she had been pressing the buttons on mummy's computer again

We had a lovely day at the farm - although when I asked dd what was her favourite bit - she said 'playing on the playground mummy' Wonder why I spent money on entrance fees when it seems I could have just taken her to the park!! Still we did see lambs (one born 20 minutes before we arrived!! ), piglets, calfs, kids and she got to hold a baby chick ahhhh

Can't beleive that it is going to snow at the weekend, it has been so lovely and sunny and warm today.

BB - any news or are you holding off as long as possible?

Hope everyone else is ok
xx

Ohhh BB, fingers, legs, toes ect crossed that AF doesn't show tomorrow either.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Majormoo!!! I hope you have had a great day so far.

I am LOL at mjim & ceebee. I am also off choccy and the smell of coffee is just bluergh! I am also enjoying salty, stodgy foods, although I really wanted some krispy kreams earlier and was kicking myself for not going while I was in Birmingham the other day. Damn!

I think we need to see your bump myjob! I also think that Carolyn shoudl elaborate on the dream!

HumphreysCorner · 04/04/2008 21:54

Happy B'Day majormoo-hope you are OK.

belgianbun-lots of luck and hope you get a BFP.

Off to bed as my throat is rough, rough, rough!

Love to all

morning all

Hope you had a great birthday majormoo

BB - where are you? Still got fingers crossed for you PMSL at the not sneezing as this is sooooooooo me! It's funny isn't it? (like that would make any dffereence!)

I am off to SIL shortly, but got to get a quick BD in when DP gets in from work before we go(CD14) LOL as he is incapable of 'performing' in his sisters house ... men hey? Going out for his mums bday tonight so should be good. We all fortunately get on well (Sorry Willmouse!)

OK I will tell you about my dream then. Wasn't very exciting really but MyJob had come to mine for a coffee! (with DS and a very large bump!)It was a bit bizarre as I have not met you but I do have very odd dreams at times and sometimes sleep talk with hilarious results...have ordered takeaways, checked into hotels and asked for items to be brought to me (eg towels, tea)all while fast asleep and usually have no memory. If DP come in late I have full conversations with him for 15-20 mins and don't remember them!!!! LOL

HumphreysCorner · 05/04/2008 16:20

Hi all

No Dancing on Ice show for me as I have a sickness bug. DH has just left, he is going with his mum and dad.

We should stop meeting like this BB! I am CD26 of 28 day cycle and a keen member of KCA - drinking lots of water as an excuse to go. Best of luck for tomorrow.
