Willmouse PMSL, Why wasn't DH putting wheelie bin back!, its the sort of thing I would do!

Bellie, A private appointment in London is about £150 - £200 I think, but be careful as some really mean NHS trusts won't let you go back to NHS when you have gone done the private route. Ask if getting a private appointment will stop you being able to get NHS treatment. Sometimes they give you long appointments for a reason, I think most people referred actually get pg before their second consultant appoint.

Don't think porn quite DH's scene, should try sexy undies and I am sorry but I am a bit posh when it comes to wine, mostly because my dad buys it for us!

HC have you sold the bra? and did you get a good price?

We have had a revised offer on our house, not what we wanted, but we have been advised to take it. DH not happy as he thinks it is all my fault, but he chose the damn agent and they overpriced it massively in the beginning. I think if we want to move this year then we are going to have to accept this one, just don't want grief from DH esp as he has left this all up to me, (apart from choosing the agent grhhh).

MrsPuddleduck · 12/03/2008 16:42

Soosy, you do realise that you will have to take the blame for the next 20 years or so if you do move don't you. I liked the house we live in more than DH and every now and then he reminds of the point .

He is in a good mood this week as he thinks he's off to Wembley - hope he manages to get tickets

Friend has just text another photo of a kitten. She informs me that the cute black and white is a male....I am now really tempted (other than the fact that my mother has just been here and said "what would you want a cat for you've got enough work with the two boys and think of your poor Dad he is allergic to them" - feel guilty about it now - I didn't even mention that we were thinking about it - she knows me too well - she also knows how to make me feel like poo).

Ho hum.

HumphreysCorner · 12/03/2008 16:51

This is for you too willmouse as well as soosy enter at your own risk TBH am glad I have found someone else who takes an interest in the 'industry' as I put the feelers out amongst my friends and it would appear I am the only one.

Will catch up later as just getting the girls' tea.

Hi all.

Thanks HC for not making me feel like a total freak! I guess it's not for everyone and you have to find something that works for the 2 of you. Whatever floats your boat and all that!

Weather is awful here and the heating broke at school today! We thought we were going tot get sent home but sadly they got it fixed by lunchtime! I taught in my coat all morning though so am glad to be in a warm house!

Soosy - sounds good about the house. Hope all proceeds well. It is supposed to be the most stressful thing after marriage, death and divorce. What about ttc???? Pretty stressful!!!!

MrsPuddleduck · 12/03/2008 17:04

Bloody Hell HC!

I am, for once, speechless LOL!

juanitad · 12/03/2008 18:30

Evening everyone,

Still no AF today, and I feel decidedly odd. I don't know if it's all in my head though, it could well be. When I get nervous I often start to feel queasy and need the toilet a lot, so that's obviously my body manifesting the troubles of my mind. This could be the same thing, I just don't know.

Lol at the porn discussion. My DH's interest in MN suddenly perked up when I told him what the topic of conversation was just now!!

Soosy, re: being animal-obsessed - I think quite a few of us on this thread have cats, and the discussion about whether wilmouse should get a cat or not has been going on for quite a while now and we all have expert advice to offer on cat habits!!

Will give further updates re: AF/no AF tomorrow. Still not testing! I used up my first two tests last month, and haven't bought any this month which is just as well cos if there was a test in the house I know full well I wouldn't be able to resist the urge!!

HumphreysCorner · 12/03/2008 18:46

Oh crikey sorry willmouse, my link was actually aimed at carolyn-one billion apologies.

Juanitad, best of luck for you this month. I know how you feel about getting queasy when you are nervous, I am the same. I hope that it is a good sign for you.

HC, that's an interesting link, will have to peruse it later when the kiddies aren't wondering past!

BB, good luck with your bd-athon this weeken, pmsl at the pillow biting.

Hi also to Willmouse, Angel, MJIM, Bellie & Soosy.

ceebee74 · 12/03/2008 19:31

OMG ? HC sorry but I would never have had you down as the ?porn? type lol! (Carolyn ? I don?t really know you aswell as I know HC so I couldn?t say whether you were the type or not )

Juanitad ? I have absolutely everything crossed for you and the signs are good ? I totally agree about having tests in the house ? that is the big mistake I made! When are you going to test ? you must have a day in mind?

MJIM ? sorry you are feeling so rough again but it is only a phase hopefully. Poor DS ? I hope he was ok later on and that you get a better nights sleep tonight

Soosy ? great news about the house even if the offer isn?t quite what you wanted. MIL has had her house on the market for 18 months now and only had one derisory offer in that time (although it does need completely gutting and rebuilding which I guess is putting people off).

Belgian ? you sound much more positive than your last couple of posts and a bd-athon should be just the thing to cheer you up even more ? lol at the image of you biting a pillow

Well, had a lovely day today. Did a spinning class this morning and then me and DH went out to buy him a new car ? a people carrier eek! ? then went to McD?s for lunch. Then I did a little bit of shopping, came home for a nap and then went to pick DS up from nursery ? so not a very productive day but a lovely relaxing one!! Plan to do similar tomorrow aswell and then Friday me and DH are going to spend the day in Manchester shopping and eating. Only problem is I can?t get on MN as DH is working from home and therefore hogging the computer and office ? grrr!

Well, I am to say I did another test this morning (a Tesco one this time) and it was a BFN again ? don?t know why I did tbh. Anyway, I think it has bought me to my senses and I have completely accepted that it is 99% that I am not pg this month so I will stop blathering on about it here and boring you all senseless with it . AF still not arrived and I just hate this being in limbo (which you must recognise Willmouse) of not being able to move on to next month. At least if AF had arrived on time, I would be on CD 2 or 3 by now and starting the whole thing again.

Anyway, enough for now

Ay up girls, I got this link from another MN thread so there are others out there

soosy-my bra has 6 days to go but am only asking £3.99 as a starting price-nobody is watching though. Your house situation sounds so like my friend and her house. Brill that you have an offer and remember it is the start of something new even though you hoped for more. It is NOT your fault!

MJIM-oh the horrid sickness. Much sympathy heading your way.

belgianbun-pillow biting eh? Now that is a new one for me.

Heartmum-no activity for you until 12 weeks.

Right ladies, off to chill. Hi to anyone I've missed.

Belgian - I feel exactly the same as you. It seems so unfair that people can get pg accidentally when others like us are trying so hard - but I guess that is life isn't it?

HC pmsl I can't even look until tomorrow morning as DH will notice and be all flustered!! I too did think it may be the bra first of all as you mentioned willmouse! I think probably a nice bottle of red might do the trick around cd12 - 14 about 12 days time - easter? We are away!

Juanitad I was joking about the animal thing, its just that with all the mention of sex and animals - sorry.

Don't talk about people getting pg by accident I get v . But also I am a bit skeptical as my sil insists she got pg by accident, but managed for six years not (she has children from a previous marriage) to plus she managed to get pg the weekend DS was born. She then sort of blackmailed insisted that my brother married her. I do really like her enormously, not entirely sure I approve of her methods.

DS came home with chocolate nest and eggs cooking at nursery school, i think he was nearly sick when he ate it after lunch! The chocolate fest begins. Anybody got a split Easter holidays?

blimey it got very saucy on here today. Too scared to look as on DH's work computer but may have to look another time...

Soosy I agree re some 'accidental' pregnancies. And BB I think some people can be a bit attention seeking (well can't we all!) so try to ignore it

Anyway off to bed-hope all well

majormoo · 12/03/2008 22:51

well of course not ALL people!
