Hello again MOB! You usually ov the day after a positive opk but you can ov on the same day . Do you know how long your LP is? I'm feeling v hopeful for you

Oh yes it will be more of the same when DH returns . He is even taking an interest in the TTC books I bought. I took TCOYF off him though before the photos of the cervix or discussion of using real eggwhite put him off!!

Ahhhhh, it's The Fragrant Bucky - love the hair, m'dear! Looks lovely. Any sign of AF yet? I am really willing you to get a BFP this month and distract me from my doom and gloom.

Scary - that is good news, so will keep everything crossed that HSG levels have doubled again and everything is in place. keep positive and we're all thinking of you.

My DH is making positive steps, but he can be stubborn. I have to use all my feminine charms and choose my moment carefully to get him to help us. I have talked about acupuncture to him, but he thinks it is (expensive) mumbo jumbo. I pointed out to him that the Assisted Conception unit at our local hospital where DH went to use the wanky porn room gives both men and women acupuncture ON THE NHS when doing IVF because there is a marked increase in sucess rates, so it has been medically proven. I bet if the GP recommends it, he'd do it!

Jolly - we have been TTC for (I actually lose count ) about 15 months. I knew something was not right (and guessed with poor DH) a while ago but it took me until December to get him to his first GP appointment. Because my DH works abroad a lot, holidays and Christmas, it has been a struggle to get this moving forward and he will not rush himself. I am scared if I push too hard he will resist doing anything.

Just heard that DH is off to work in Germany for the next three weeks from next Monday, so he'll miss the EWCM most probably. Him working away again is even more reason to go private - for flexibility. I am worried that he'll miss GP and referral appointments .

MOB - I love quiche, so that is definitely a symptom . You are absolutely right about saying that DH would absolutely melt if he had a DC of his own! DH's own dad was a brilliant, very hands on father and DH is very close to him. I can see he would be a brilliant father. It's getting DH to focus on me/us/having DC's and not his bl**dy work! . Half the problem is that my DH is Mr Logic! His logic is that you cannot miss what you have never had. We are happy together now, we have no DC's, so he reasons that we can be happy without DC's. Grrrr

I really hope you can convince DH to go private as it seems by far the best solution for you both. Can you just ring and book it?! Private appointments are more likely to fit around you and DH's hectic work schedules. He does work so much and all that stress can't help things. He might be still upset about the test results and anxious about making changes, diet, reflexology etc in case they don't help IYSWIM? I've heard great things and am sure they do have an effect but if your DH is sceptical then he might feel that nothing he does is going to make a difference.

Have you got a copy of TCOYF? It mentions low sperm count a few times and suggests bd'ing every other day of EWCM. Sorry if I am telling you stuff you already know .

we have booked ourselves a weekend away last night we have been together for 4 years on the 11th april so we are going to the lake district for the weekend we are bringing DD with us so its not a filthy weekend but a nice clean family one got a good deal aswell

MOB I have been so windy since PG, really loud ones (thankfully they seem to be bad in the evening so haven't disgraced myself in public yet !). So I reckon that is a very good sign. I saw GP today and she was so pleased for me (she had told me last time that loads of women fall PG as soon as they start to do tests), it felt wierd saying it out loud ! I felt like a member of AA or something "Hi My name is mibbes and I am PG !" waaahhhh ! Anyway she suggested I cancel scan as they prefer not to do internal scans if no real need once PG. TBH am happy as just want to leave well alone, if they say they can't see anything I'll just worry. I know am defo more PG than last week as this morning's line (yes I tested again) came up really quickly and was darker than control line !
JB go girl ! IKWYM about the picture in TCOYF, I'd die if DP saw those and asked if I did the 'finger test' with my CM, I'd be so mortified !
GG your DH sounds soo like my DP - he is also very logical and reacts badly to me going on and on about anything, so I had to never actually mention ttc otherwise he'd have felt like I was pressurising him and refuse to BD. Thank goodness I've had you ladies to 'talk' to

mibbes I can't get over the 'lotiony' picture in TCOYF . It just looks like Oil of Olay or something!! Also, it is the same fingers each time and no woman has all those secretions so are they 'pretend' i.e. Oil of Olay and real eggwhite or is she handling another woman's CM??!

I am so sorry your DH said that comment to you IYKWIM - I bet your DH is a lovely person, but men...their minds work differently from us and while they are meant to comfort and console, they don't . hatty You can get oil of olay fluid (tee, hee) pre-ov before EWCM or wet CM, and after ov I think. I find I get more lotiony stuff afterwards - not quite oil of olay consistency though!

it was a BFN for me this mornin i think AF is on her way but if not i will test again on friday but im not at all optimistic and feel really emotional about it this cycle you lot have made me laugh though with the lotion talk i couldnt even use my face illuminator cream this morning as it is oil of olay so i spent my time in work lookin ghostly pale and pastey
