hatty - did you go for the onion tart or trout in the end ? PMSL at the "internal examination" during your weekend away! See, i told you to look out your saucy undies . Hope the medical examiniation went ok. i can't really help much with cycle queries. Because my issues are on the..erm...boy side of things I am a bit clueless, but someone clever like DG will probably look in soon and help.

I think Bucky, our resident Party Planner, may have sorted out the London/SE meet up, if any other ladies want to join us for lunch in the Big Smoke?? I am willing you Northern ladies to get your DHs/DPs to mind the dog/DCs/house, jump on a train to Kings X and join us. Hopefully, we'll have synchronised cycle days and all be at CD2 so we can indulge in LOTS of wine and G&Ts with no guilt factor!

JollyBear · 31/03/2008 14:46

Hello hatty, follow northerner , glad you had a good weekend! I've been reading TCOYF this weekend so lets see if I remember any of it! I think the blood test timings are based on a 28 day cycle so the 21 day one would be typically 7 days after ov. If you know when you ov it would be easier to work out when to have it. The LP (after ov) can very from 10-16 days, so you might get the timings wrong if you don't know how long yours is. Does any of that make sense?! Glad to hear the internal wasn't too awful.

GG I was hoping so badly for a surprise BFP for you . Good luck for the appointment on Wednesday. Your GP had better refer you . If you are going private then hopefully you won't have to endure any more long waits.

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 31/03/2008 15:24

GG sorry AF arrived for you great to see you havent lost hope about TTC though[smle] remember even if his count is only 1 thats all you need so it is not impossible good that he has started taking his vits aswell hopefully they will solve the problem and you will get a surprise BFP (and a baby for xmas/new year this cycle)

Madoldbird · 31/03/2008 19:29

Good evening everyone.

Welcome to fishnchips

scaryhairy i so hope that today brought some positive news for you. XX

JB EWCM!!! Let the BDing begin in the JB household!

GG Yes, i was secretly hoping for a surprise BFP for you too. Well done to DH though for making such an effort. He may think that he is happy with just the two of you, but just wait until that baby arrives (and it WILL do) he will no doubt be besotted!

EI things are so promising for you - i had another sneaky look at your chart (crumbs, i am nosy, aren't i?) and it looks (to my untrained eye) great. Have you still held off from testing????

Hattyyellow so pleased you had a lovely weekend away, and that the internal was ok today. Sorry, am not very clued up on blood tests etc.

Mibbes how is our pregnant lady?? Had a really good throwing up session yet??!

Bucky So come on, IS that hair washed yet??!

Hello to also to picknmix TB2 shakeysgirl beaniesteve

No major symptoms here, apart from the usual slightly tingly boobs. Oh, and a longing for quiche, which DH is convinced means i am pregnant! (No it just means i am greedy) Wish i had temped this month ( i was going to start, but forgot) when i get to CD1 again, can everyone please remind me!!!

ScaryHairy · 31/03/2008 19:58

Hello Ladies

Cautiously good news for me today. My HCG levels more than doubled in a bit under 48 hours. This makes it less likely that bean is ectopic. This Weds I have another scan. If we don't see anything this time, then I think I have to face some unhappy facts, but hopefully there will be some sign of my bean in the right place.

MOB craving quiche is definitely a symptom (who the heck would eat it otherwise?!)

I'm glad you had a lovely night away Hatty and that your internal was ok.

That's good early EWCM, JB. Am I right in thinking you are CD11 or so? That must give you a lovely long fertile window.

Mibbes How is it going with with Minimibbes? Have you got your GP to book you into the hospital yet?

I'm glad your DH is stepping up GG. Those manvits can't do any harm. You've been ttc for a bit now, haven't you? Seriously I think you should demand that your GP refer you to a consultant. An if he won't I would speak to a different GP or consider going private (pick a consultant and call him/her direct)- is that an option? I've also heard that acupuncture can be good for the swimmers, so could you get your DH to try that?

Hi also to Picknmix, Ei, Shakeysgirl, Beanie, TB2. Thanks for all of your good wishes in the past week or so. It has not been easy and it is really good to be able to come on here and talk about it. Especially as I have only told one of my r/l friends about what's been happening.

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 31/03/2008 20:17

oh scary that is wonderful i will be cautiously optimistic for you and remember that you are still quite early so you may not be able to see much yet anyway especially if you oved or implanted late your bean might be a week smaller than you anticipate so dont lose hope if your levels are good

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 31/03/2008 20:20

MOB yeah i have held off from testing even though i am prepared with the tests in the bathroom cupboard i am also not very optimistic of a BFP today so i think i might not get a chance to do a test anyway as i have telltale cramping that i usually get the day before AF i dont think i am due Af for a few days though unless she is early which would be crappy!! ah well DH has been very sypathetic today so i feel a bit better since tellin him and you lot aswell

Hi JB no I still feel like I am pretending, even did another test yesterday to check ! Not got any real symptoms, just feel normal. And you my lady, get to the bedroom !
GG so sorry she came but it is good news to hear that DH is making positive steps. He may want it more than you realise (or he is willing to admit). My DP seemed completely ambivalent towards us having a family and I felt like he only agreed to stop contraception to keep me happy, but now he is more excited than me ! (only because I am cautious about getting too confident about it too early iykwim). I really hope you get referred soon and get things moving.
hatty glad internal was ok and I had my day21 bloods done on day 25 for the same reason as my cycles are usually 30-35 days. Exactly as JB says, I aimed for approx 7 days after expected ov, hope that helps.
MOB you must temp it is so good knowing what is going on ! But then maybe you won't need to, I'm sure quiche is a common PG craving
Scary woohoo (cautiously), I assume you had internal scan at this early stage ? I really hope they find the beany this time. I guess then there is no way they'll see my beany at my scan on Thu (for pre-AF spotting). I am going to see GP tomorrow to tell her my news and see if I still have to go for scan.
Bucky do you have clean hair yet ?

mibbes · 31/03/2008 20:56

Ei, sorry I missed you (maybe I have the power now and being blamked by me brings BFP !). Well done for not testing, I am very proud (if rather surprised !!)

ScaryHairy · 31/03/2008 20:58

Yes Mibbes, it was internal and they didn't see anything. I'm told that you would expect to see something by the time HCG levels reach 2000, which mine should do by Weds if they are doubling every 48 hours. If you go for a scan I hope you see yours. It makes it more real somehow IMO.

How's the hair Bucky?

tinkerbell2 · 31/03/2008 21:20

evening scary - that is great news hun
how exciting!!
good luck for scan on wedxx

ScaryHairy · 31/03/2008 21:24

Thanks Tinkerbell.

Bucky2008 · 31/03/2008 21:51

Drum roll..........

I HAVE WASHED MY HAIR .

Actually twice, once on Friday night and then I built a fence in my garden over the weekend, so washed it again last night. DP said 'it smells gooood'. However, he had some kind of food poisoning so clean hair did not equal mucho action in the BDing department.

Scary glad the news was hopeful, keeping fingers and toes crossed.

Hatty Glad you had a good break.

Gryffin Looking good in the DH behaviour department.

Re the meet up, have been uber busy today, so couldn't make another suggestion for dates. My computer is having a mare as I write this so will have to end my post soon [arrrghhh]

Quickly, symptoms, slight nausea today and aching ovaries...CD25 expecting AF tomorrow.

Night night, sorry this post is so erratic, honestly I have to keep typing as if I stop the cursor is jumping all over and the page keeps closing!

toosoontotell · 31/03/2008 23:34

Hello!
I'm sneaking back on here-didn't think I would be

I will apologise now for not having read the most recent posts .

It's potentially only a one week wait now though . My symptoms (or lack of ) are different this month. Last time I was very "crampy" for nearly the whole two weeks but this time nothing, although my boobs are starting to feel different (could be wishful thinking). Talk about confusing! I was disappointed when I wasn't pg-it felt like confirmation I'm getting old. I'm very fortunate that getting pregnant in the past hasn't been a problem for me (hope I haven't offended anyone ). This feels like my last chance for another dc as I'm rapidly heading towards 40 and for some reason that's my cut off point!

mibbes · 01/04/2008 08:35

HI Bucky hurray for sweet smelling locks ! I have everything crossed that the old cow stays away hun. I'd love to see you get BFP this month xx
toosoon hope you get BFP soon, symptoms sounds good

tinkerbell2 · 01/04/2008 08:42

morning ladies
cd 11 for me already bd last night ye!!
bucky can smell your fresh hair from here.
good luck tstt and bucky

Bucky2008 · 01/04/2008 10:15

It was actually Saturday night not Friday night that I washed it DP reminds me . Aaaaah, its all nice and shiny. .

No sign of AF maybe tomorrow actually, my calculations were a bit pants...think I ov on CD15 add 11 days for LP, that would be CD27 that she actually would arrive no?

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Bucky2008 · 01/04/2008 10:16

Oh and thanks for the 'good luck' Tink and Mibbes I need it!

Madoldbird · 01/04/2008 10:51

Morning all!

scary that's good news, thank you for letting us know. There must be a bean in there still, so praying he / she stays put for a long time! Fingers crossed for tomorrow, and as EI said, i would have thought that it would still be quite tricky to see, if it is only very recently implanted.

EI i really hope that the cramping is implantation, and not AF on her way.

Mibbes good luck with the GP today, do let us know if you still have to have the scan tomorrow.

Bucky well, now you've washed it twice in a matter of days!!! Is this a symptom for you??!! I hope AF stays away.

TSTT welcome back - here's hoping this is your month!

A morning to everyone else!!

Well i have another symptom to report... bad wind!!!! DH informed me that when he turned over to cuddle me in the middle of the night, there was a rather "toxic" smell!!! (i was asleep, in my defence) so, pregnancy symptom, or a result of my quiche eating (and brown rice and mixed bean salad i had for lunch yesterday) - the latter methinks!!!

JollyBear · 01/04/2008 10:52

Morning all,

scary I know you must be cautious but doubling HCG levels is SUCH a good sign . Fingers crossed for the scan on Wednesday.

Bucky Mmmmmmmmm lovely hair! I really, really hope AF stays away.

mibbes LOL at your taking another test! Glad you are feeling well.

MOB Oooooh symptoms! As mibbes says temping is great. I feel much better knowing when I've ov and watching those temps climb . Hopefully you'll get lucky this month and won't need to temp anyway!

ei Have you managed to hold off testing?!

You'll all be pleased to hear we took advantage of the EWCM yesterday . DH is away untill late tomorrow so we bd'ed again this morning just in case I get EWCM today too! I'm sure he is currently asleep on the train .

Hello to GG, hatty, picknmix, toosoon, tinker and everyone else!

JollyBear · 01/04/2008 10:54

Corss-posted MOB LOL at the wind!! How many DPO are you now?

beaniesteve · 01/04/2008 10:55

Madoldbird · 01/04/2008 10:55

Morning JB! Glad to hear it has been "action stations" in your house! DH can have a rest while he is away - ready for more of the same when he returns!!

Madoldbird · 01/04/2008 10:57

Morning beaniesteve!!
