Hi Bucky, cross-posted.
Good to hear from you, sorry you are . I will be sticking around here for a while and there are still quite a few 'old' faces in here so please stick with us. Had DP agreed when to go to hospital ? I really hope he goes soon so at least you can address any problems if there are any. With any luck your post-holiday BD'ing has done the trick though . I love your idea of botox as a threat - quality idea

Bucky2008 · 26/03/2008 10:16

Mibbes he said it is not at all that he does not want to go, he just keeps 'forgetting' to ring! I told him it cannot be that important to him if he has forgotten for a MONTH!!! . I'm obviously disheartened, but not walking around being sad IYKWIM. So don't worry, I just don't post much anymore because I have nothing to say that is on topic most of the time now...

PicknMix · 26/03/2008 10:28

Bucky - my long time 2wwaiter this will have to be a quick stealth post as am at work.....but I MISS YOU!!!! (I said it was a stealth post, not a subtle one )

Mibbes - hurrah for the Mibblet!! Thats fantastic news - am really happy for you (do you mind if I'm a little bit as well though?!)

mibbes · 26/03/2008 10:52

Thanks PickNMix feel free to be , I feel like I am reading about someone else, it is going to take a while to sink in ! Goodness knows how I am supposed to do any work today - google and MN for me today I think. I have been so focussed on reading about ttc that I have no idea about pregnancy ! I'll have to get onto amazon and order the PG equivalent of TCOYF !
Bucky are you sure he is not just 'being a man' and pretending he isn't bothered but actually quite worried ? Good to 'see' you on here today missus xx

Bucky2008 · 26/03/2008 10:55

Guess we will see...what with the Botox ultimatum and all.... Actually I should stop ing as it could be contributing to my wrinkles!

JollyBear · 26/03/2008 11:16

Oh bucky don't leave! We'll miss you. Will the Drs let you ring and make your DP an appointment? Would a cyber kick-up-the-bum for your DP help at all?

mibbes I'm not surprised you can't do any work! I wish I could join you on the Dec thread. I always feel a bit sad when people graduate because it would have been lovely to have been able to share something so exciting with someone so nice. Have you worked out your due date?

hattyyellow · 26/03/2008 11:20

Mibbes! Mibbes! Mibbes!

Eeek! I am so over excited for you - congratulations! Had got so used to logging on to not seeing any BFP's it took me a good few minutes to register your message! Wow! How are you feeling and when is your EDD?

Bucky glad you had a lovely holiday - have you sat down at the sewing machine to start those curtains yet?

No news from me, DH has man flu so I doubt we will be seeing any new babyyellows any time soon! Doctors appt is on Monday for my fun internal exam and I've also booked in with an acupuncturist next week to try and do a Digitalgirl and get my baby chi flowing!

We have our first night away without kids for two years tomorrow night as my mum who lives miles away is coming up and is looking after the girls...please all cross your fingers for me that I don't get Dh's lurgy and spend our precious night away sneezing and shaking instead of madly bding!

hattyyellow · 26/03/2008 11:21

ps mibbes i'd highly recommend "what to expect when you're expecting" if you want a good read!

Bucky2008 · 26/03/2008 11:43

Aw I feel a warm cosy glow, all my old buddies have resurfaced . GG post immediately so as to add to my sentimental ponderings about old times...

EiWishFor3MoreEasterEggs · 26/03/2008 13:07

ShakeysGirl · 26/03/2008 13:27

Congratulations Mibbles!!! Still no sign of af here... Beanie, seems we are in the same situation. Hope you get some answers soon. I haven't tests for a week now because i only have one test and don't want to waste it! I really doubt i am pregnant so am not going to give myself false hope xx

beaniesteve · 26/03/2008 13:45

hey ShakeysGirl... My period is here I think! though very slight.

Always next month and it's been nice to see people getting their BFPs.

Onwards and Upwards...

mibbes · 26/03/2008 13:51

aaah JB how sweet of you ! I think about 2nd Dec is the date so there should be a 'delivery' before xmas ! If you get BFP this cycle you'd still be due Dec wouldn't you ? I'll cross everything that you join me soon
hatty LOL at your excitement at my BFP ! As I said before please don't worry about internal as mine was painless and quick - far easier than a smear. Hope you get some answers soon and a BFP even sooner . Oh and thanks for the book recommendation - will get onto it tonight !
Ei I'd love to take you with me over to a Dec thread - not sure there is one yet. Fingers crossed after that well-timed BD
Thanks Shakey, good luck when you do test again.

GryffinGirl · 26/03/2008 14:11

MIBBES!!!! Congratulations . I am so, so pleased and smiley for you.

Bucky - I am going all misty eyed about old timers. We are still here

jolly hatty madoldbird and everyone else _ i'll post more later when I have time to skim the thread and write more!!!

JollyBear · 26/03/2008 14:23

Oh that's right mibbes! I can't count at all! Any tips to pass on apart from taking some time off work?!

Sounds good ei! Hope you get another December baby.

hatty Have a gallon of orange juice today to keep the germs at bay. Hope you have a lovely time .

I've got my Zita West book now. It has some good advice about diet and stuff, but is a bit controdictary (sp?). For example, try NOT to think about babies and pregnancy all the time (no tips on how to do that sadly!), yet also suggests sorting out the house to make physical room for a baby. What are you meant to do with the empty room?!

JollyBear · 26/03/2008 14:24

Oh cross posted with GG! I take too long to write posts obviously! HELLO!

hattyyellow · 26/03/2008 14:28

I want to be on the December ante-natal club thread too! Me, me, me! My EDD would be 23rd December if I made it through this month!!!

Thanks for the reassurance about the internal Mibbes. Can you remind me if you have a minute how long you have been trying for, let us hear your story? Give some hope to us old-timers still kicking our heels.

Having had a drink at lunchtime with work colleagues I feel a trip to the virtual ttcing pub coming on to drown our sorrows and reminiscence about old posts on this thread as well as toasting mibbes..anyone care to join me?

mibbes · 26/03/2008 14:54

GG thanks for the dance - very amusing
Wow lovely singing hatty, I'll join you in the pub but I'll just have a water that's a first for me !
My ttc journey started with thinking I was PG last Sept-Oct, being disappointed when I wasn't then making a complete turnaround decision to have a family after being convinced for years I wasn't interersted. A few weeks later DP was convinced and condoms went in the bin !
I am an obsessive vitamin-taker, I have read Zita West inside out and take loads every day ! Started temping in Jan after 44 day cycle when I was convinced must be PG as that was way late for me but BFN. Also read TCOYF back to front !
Didn't do anything different this cycle except be off work so lots more BDing than usual.
I started noting in my spreadsheet (what's that you say, obsessive ? me ? no not atall !!) anything new this cycle as wanted to have as much info as poss for GP (had day 21 bloods this cycle and due to have an internal scan next week), so here is what I noted for you symptom spotters (sorry if TMI):

BD'd every 1.5 days for 5 days leading up to ov including AM of ov day.
1dpo - pink CM on TP in the evening & headache all day
2dpo - headache in the evening (I never get normal headaches only migraines so this was unusual)
4dpo - quite a bit of CM
5dpo - CM and queasy
9-12dpo - spotting
10dpo - temp took a big dip
11dpo - temp way back up
15dpo BFP

ha ha maybe I'll post this on that mad 2ww website !!!

mibbes · 26/03/2008 14:56

OMG, sorry ladies. All about me and my BFP - am starting to bore myself !

Bucky2008 · 26/03/2008 15:23

No Mibbes really interesting. I had a stonking headache yesterday, had to take an anadin (sp?) for the first time in probably a year and felt really queasy (probably because of the headache). Maybe there is hope. We should all keep such a thorough diary of proceedings (no sarcasm intended). Dread to think what my diary would look like .

Bucky2008 · 26/03/2008 15:31

Oh and Hatty....make mine a G&T (slimline tonic).

Once upon a time there was a cyber buddy called CBCB who started the 2ww thread. DG welcomed Bucky in and soon she was chatting with many fun folk. Then GG had a dramatic Boots episode in Canon Street Station and the cyber world was rapt. One day CBCB changed her name to Hatty Yellow and the Muppet Muggle found a new boyfriend and left the thread (um that may have been the waiting room ). Somebody got yellow orange feet, windy nips and many games of cervical pursuit were played. It was very cosy in the 2ww house.

One fine day everyone on the thread got a BFP and they all lived happily ever after.

The End

hattyyellow · 26/03/2008 15:42

Thanks Mibbes, we have been getting some random daytime bding in (whilst putting toddlers in front of tv downstairs - bad bad parents emoticon). Maybe the change of time might just work for us!

Bucky, smiling at your story. It's a bit like the end of Big Brother where Davina does the "now here are your best bits from the house" (cue shots of random drunken slapper/narcisstic bloke running around and crying).

Can't believe we've been going since last summer. DG must be showing a bit of a bump by now! (wistful emoticon)..

JollyBear · 26/03/2008 16:48

I don't keep a spreadsheet but I must confess to having a list of 'symptoms' which of course have been symptoms of... AF . It did help me realise I get lots of 'early pregnancy symptoms' pre AF, e.g feeling really thirsty. I'm hoping it will prevent false 'symptom spotting' in the future!! I'm sure I never used to have any idea when AF was going to arrive though particularly with my irregular cycles, I wonder if they are psychosomatic .

I like the history of the 2ww'ers bucky. I'm looking forward to the last bit . I'll keep my fingers firmly crossed for you and hatty, and GG, well everyone! Wouldn't it be lovely if we could all get a December BFP and move over together? Unlikely but ideal .

DG was my cycle buddy when she got her BFP - lets hope I'm still lucky scaryhairy!

mibbes · 26/03/2008 18:00

LOL Bucky love the recap of the last few months ! DG was the first MNer to respond to my 'am I PG ?' thread in October ! and then when I dropped in here a few weeks later you were all so welcoming. I won't be leaving here properly until you all graduate .
That is 'interesting' about your headache... I never have normal headaches which is why I took note as I found that unusual... I sooooo hope it is a good sign for you. I am so amused by lack of symtpoms I have this cycle ! Slightly tingly boobs from 9/10 dpo until yesterday (haven't had anything today). I have had loads in previous cycles ! JB I think we probably always had these signs but just weren't paying such close attention to our bodies - e.g. I can't believe I didn't know what EWCM was, I used to think 'ooh that was a slippy wipe' ! Now I am like EWCM-hunter every month!

ScaryHairy · 26/03/2008 19:58

LOL at "that was a slippy wipe"!!

JB I am CD7, but am having a very odd time - I've posted details on a new thread, but my temps are creeping back up and there may be a line on the test I just did. This is too bizarre for words, so any wise thoughts most absolutely welcome.

Lovely to see you again Bucky.

Hello to the rest, Ei and Hatty and anyone else.
