Am waiting for a Clearblue fertility monitor to arrive from ebay

And have been charting from teh day my period was supposed to arrive so I am going to keep that up and see what happens.

Sorry for being so miserable about it all.

mibbes · 24/03/2008 20:47

beanie the CBFM will really help you understand what is going on. I think it was our lovely mumstheword who got BFP on first cycle using a CBFM . The cycle before I started temping I had a random 44 day cycle and was convinced was PG but kept getting BFN so I understand how frustrating this is for you. Since I have started charting temps there has never been any question about when ov'd or when AF due as temps help sooo much. Hopefully you won't need the CBFM anyway as you'll get BFP in a few days

Well as I am not yet out this month I'll post some topical symptoms: have been having slightly achey (.)(.) and feel a bit sicky when hungry but feel better as soon as I'v eaten. Also get raging hunger before meals. Have been trying to encourage other symptoms to no avail (sucking on tinfoil, drinking gallons of water and eating cabbage)

EiWishFor3MoreEasterEggs · 24/03/2008 23:25

hi ladies just a quick one before i go off to bed
mibbes im so excited for youi sooo hope it is your turn and i think it was a BFP so stay away from those rollercoasters(i havent had any other dreams since the one of you so maybe they were waitin til you got your bfp i have to see if i get one in the next day or 2 as then it is a definite BFP for you)
sorry your cycle is messin you about beanie i hope you get an answer soon
hi to everyone else

morning ladies

JollyBear · 25/03/2008 10:36

Morning all,

mibbes I'm beside myself with excitement here! Have you retested? It sounds like a positive to me! Your spotting might have been implantation and not your usual spotting. Fingers crossed for you!!

MOET Hope you finally hatched an egg over the weekend and if not, you comforted yourself with lots of choccie ones.

GG How . I don't see why you have to wait for these results anyway! It is so very frustrating. Hope you had a good weekend and your DH took some time off.

bucky Great to see you back! How was the holiday? Did your mum enjoy it?

hatty How did the Drs appointment go?

tinker Sorry to hear your're back at CD1

beanie How frustrating for you. Maybe you ov late?

ei oooooh it is exciting when those lines appear! Fingers very crossed for you.

Boring old CD 6 for me! Are we cycle buddies SH? You are lucky your book has arrived, I'm still waiting for mine!

Hello to everyone I've missed!

mibbes · 25/03/2008 18:43

ooh it is quiet in here today. JB I have HPT at the ready for the morning. Not confident enough to do CBD, am really nervous now, dreading seeing a BFN as I'll be so gutted. How am I suppsoed to sleep tonight ?

Have been looking for some of the ladies from the bottom of the waiting room list, anyone seen glasto, hatty, PicknMix or GryffinGirl ? and Bucky hun where are you hiding ?

PicknMix · 25/03/2008 18:57

Hello all,

Very quiet on here today!

Hope you all had a fab Easter?

Nice to see you back Bucky hope you had a lovely time? Did Finn dog miss you?

Tinkerbell pleased to see you are back on track (never nice to get your af but at least you know where you are now!)

MIBBES have you retested yet????????????????? Have got very many parts of my body crossed for you right now!!

Shakey and Beanie - any sign of af yet (or better still, a BFP!?)

Lovely to see FF is working for you Ei - always exciting to get those lines on your chart (had to get my DH to come and have a look the first time it happened on mine!!!)

How are you doing Scary ( to hear about af) and MOB (yay for EWCM!!! )?

GG am on your behalf at the persponed (sp?) Dr's appt. Am willing the 1st to come round quickly for you.

My DH left this a.m for a week to visit his sister and her new baby (they live in Canada). I am staying at home (for various reasons) but kinda glad I wont have to perform the required cooing over newborn whilst gritting my teeth! Of course I'm fantastically happy for them but still.....

Managed to bd a few times before he left but think he will be away for the 'optimum' time. Ah well.

Hope everyone else is ok - apologies to anyone I've missed (anyone seen Hatty recently?)

PicknMix · 25/03/2008 18:58

Crossed posts Mibbes!!

Am just off to the waiting room to update my stats (have been bad and not posted in there for a while so my cd is completely out!)

beaniesteve · 25/03/2008 19:25

Hiya Picknmix,

just saw your other post. Yes looks like Period on its way but that's ok, at least I know where I am.

ScaryHairy · 25/03/2008 20:15

Good luck for tomorrow, Mibbes. Are you past your normal luteal phase length?Yes JB - we are cycle buddies. It's boring old CD6 for me too. Yawn, but at least I don't need to temp seriously yet! When is your book arriving? I want to know if it says anything useful. Mine doesn't say anything I hadn't already read, but is quite comforting in that I am pretty sure I am ovulating and that we usually BD at the right time. The only thing is I think we might be stopping a bit too soon each cycle.Beanie sorry to hear you think your period is coming, but you're right - it's better knowing what is what than having uncertainty.Sorry you're out for this month Picknmix but at least you got some practice in! I know what you mean about those flipping SIL's and their babies. I suspect that mine is pregnant again (she has a 6 months old) and if I am right I am not pleased at all. Being lapped is no fun, but you're clearly much more gracious to your SIL than I am!!Ei I hope you managed to get in lots of sex at the right time (what an odd thing to say to a virtual stranger!!). Good luck for this cycle.

ScaryHairy · 25/03/2008 20:17

Arg! When I type my posts they have paragraphs and everything, but for some reason "it" takes the spaces out and turns them into miserable block text which is awful to read. I'm sorry, but I don't know how to fix it...

ShakeysGirl · 26/03/2008 00:24

Still no sign of af had a tiny bit of light red blood yesterday when trying to check cm so thought i might be about to come on but nope! Still having sex every day to be on the safe side (and cause i enjoy it of course lol) felt a bit sick this evening but i think thats because i had fish and chips for lunch and im not sure the fish was in the best of conditions but ds also had it and he is fine people have told me I've put some weight on lately, but im greedy

beaniesteve · 26/03/2008 07:26

confused. No more bleeding - infact what I had was gone with one wipe.

MadOldEasterTurkey · 26/03/2008 07:41

Morning all

Sorry not to have been around for a few days, i have only just recovered from the EI treatment machine !!

Mibbes have you tested again?? Have got everything crossed for you. Can't wait to hear. I admire you leaving it a couple of days and not testing until today.

Bucky good to see you back. Hope you had a lovely time. Did you get the curtains made ?! Do tell us all about it.

EI how exciting to see your chart with the big red ov line on it! Hope the next couple of weeks go quick for you.

TB2 sorry to hear that AF arrived, but i guess at least you know where you are now. I hope this cycle is more of a "normal" one for you.

beaniesteve well it sounds as though AF is finally on her way. Good luck with the monitor. Is it complicated?

JB & SH hope you two are ok in the boring part of your cycles. fear not, it will soon be BDing time once more!!

PicknMix Nice to see you. How difficult for you (and of course for DH) having him away over the crucial time (and because of the arrival of a baby) Hopefully there are enough swimmers hanging around in there!

Shakeysgirl have you tested again?

hattyyellow are you ok? Haven't seen you around in a while.

GG Did you manage to celebrate your anniversary? Hope DH wasn't working the whole time.

Well, things seem to have finally happened here. Finally got smiley face on Sunday, and BD sunday and monday mornings (thank goodness for the long weekend ) I think i may have ov'd yesterday, as i still had some EWCM. Things seem to be errm, "drying up" this morning though. I guess i am now on the 2ww!

mibbes · 26/03/2008 07:44

BFP !!!!
am in shock ! I am shaking like a leaf

MadOldEasterTurkey · 26/03/2008 07:46

WOW Mibbes wonderful, fantastic, news!!!!!! It was that holiday, do you think? All that relaxing! Am so excited for you!!!!!!!

MadOldEasterTurkey · 26/03/2008 07:46

And we can say you are having a Miblet

mibbes · 26/03/2008 07:52

LOL MOB love miblet !
Yes I think it may be a Maderia baby ! or maybe a wee haggis as I think the vital BD was when we got back, but being off work was the clincher as we would never have had time for that particular BD if we'd been at work - so my tip is book annual leave for the crucial week

ScaryHairy · 26/03/2008 08:13

Oh my GOD!

Hurrah for the Mibblet!

tinkerbell2 · 26/03/2008 08:29

morning ladies
hi pnm and moet cd 5 for me af has nearly packed her bags bring on baby trying
congratulations mibbes[grins]

JollyBear · 26/03/2008 09:20

I'll congratulate you again mibbes as a BFP cannot be celebrated enough!! Little Mibblet!

MOB so pleased you finally ov! The long weekend is a gift to the TTC'er really . Hope the 2ww doesn't drag too much for you.

SH It's nice to have a cycle buddy. Do you know when you ov? I've been trying to work out my previous ov days based on my LP being 15 days (based on my last cycle). It looks like I've ov on day cd13 and cd44 on previous cycles so who knows! Ov should be between 13 and 20 though I hope, maybe I should take some time off, it worked for mibbes! beanie and shakey Hope you both get your BFP or AF. It is rubbish being in limbo.

p&m

coolkat · 26/03/2008 09:30

Congrats mibbles. X

Hope you ladies are all ok, not been on MN for ages as been knocked down by a virus and have felt dreadful. Bean seems to be ok, nothing to suggest otherwise.

Luck to you all.
Coolkat X

Bucky2008 · 26/03/2008 09:48

Wahay for Mibbes and the Miblet . I congratulated you in the waiting room but thought you deserved your own personal congratulations here too!

Thanks for everyone who has asked about me, I have been pretty peed off recently with the ttc thing. DP STILL has not gone to the hospital and until he does there is no point me going back to the doctors to discuss my 'fine' results. With being away there has not been much BDing happening anyway although We did do it a couple of times around what is usually ovulation time...so who knows?

PicknMix nice to see you back again. Alot my old buddies have gone and left me (happy for them of course, the sad face is for me...feeling sorry for myself).

Hey JB how goes it???

Well, my mother did not drive me too insane, my tactic of buying loads of duty free and generally staying half cut for the entire week numbed whatever pain there may have been, although actually I think she was fine. I did get dragged to the fabric store though so returned with my curtain material moet . The builders have been in whilst I was away so that was quite painless too, although I would add they are STILL at my house and showing no sign of leaving so we will see.

As I have basically resigned myself to the fact that there will be no dc anytime soon, I am once again leading a very debauched lifestyle that involves coffee, gin and a severe lack of folic acid. I don't even think sod's law is going to apply however...wish DP would get off his ass and go to the docs . I have told him he has a month and then I am getting botox and we will have to take 3 months off (botox is not good for growing babies obviously)....My wrinkles are getting out of hand and I don't want to get fixated on my lack of success in the ttc department.

Bucky2008 · 26/03/2008 09:49

oops sorry that was super long!

mibbes · 26/03/2008 09:56

cookat glad to hear you are on the mend and beany ok.
tinkerbell you'll be at the fun part soon
beanie posted for you in waiting room - fingers crossed !
Thanks for your excited response ladies. Am still in shock, it doesn't feel real, I don't feel remotely PG. So much for all that symptom spotting. I have had loads of symptoms in previous cycles and nothing except the ocassional tingly boob this time !
