Bucky2008 · 21/03/2008 18:21

Hi all,

Just a note to say I am back from hols.

Big congratulation to Twinklingfairy I saw the news in the waiting room. I have not read through the thread to catch up yet, but see that GG is having a mare with results again . I haven't asked yet as only got back at lunchtime and DP has been building decking since I arrived, but I am guessing my DP did not go to hospital whilst I was away!

Anyway lots of EWCM again this month and think egg hatching is imminent if not current!

Hope you are all well.
Bucky x

beaniesteve · 22/03/2008 10:30

Am just confused. CD 27 when my cycle is normally 24 days. Negative test on Friday. Don't want to keep on testing so am going to leave it until at least Monday.

I am checking my knickers on an hourly basis and am almost disappointed that I am not bleeding. Just want to know what's what!

tinkerbell2 · 22/03/2008 11:45

poor you beanie
cd1 for me finally very

beaniesteve · 23/03/2008 10:12

[SAD]

4 days late now.

tinkerbell2 · 23/03/2008 12:09

so sorry beanie it is so frustrating hopefully you will get an answer soon
go and eat lots of eggs

ShakeysGirl · 23/03/2008 12:31

I am on cd40 now (last cycle was 36 days) and nothing, no symptoms or anything. I think maybe i didn't ovulate until last week maybe (when i had that little bleed and some symptoms?) Am definately not pregnant had 2 bfn tests. I have one left and i'm not even tempted to wee on it so i think sub conciously i know that its not to be this month.

beaniesteve · 23/03/2008 12:52

ShakeysGirl

Is this normal for you?

ShakeysGirl · 23/03/2008 17:00

Nope, i am having a totally weird month, i have no idea whats going on with my body this month. I read that you're 4 days late too, its so frustrating!

beaniesteve · 23/03/2008 18:09

It is, specially when it comes out of the blue after being so regular. Only weird thing I had recently was a 9/10 day period last month. Am wondering if I'm just all out of kilter but a slightly longer period has never effected the length of my cycle before.

shakeysgirl have you come off the pill fairly recently?

ShakeysGirl · 23/03/2008 18:26

I last took the pill in august (but had a depo injection in jan 07 and i know that takes a year to get out your system so would have been all gone by jan 08)

mibbes · 24/03/2008 08:12

beanie how may dpo are you now ? It could be that vitb6 has done the trick and extended LP and you'll get BFP soon .
Bucky do you think you caught the egg on your return from hol ? Did DP get test results ?
Ei any symptoms yet ?
Shakey if you suspect late ov last week then it is unlikely you'd get a BFP this week. You need to be at least 10dpo (if not more depending on length of LP) so you still have a very good chance

Well after my temp drop and spotting on Fri at 10 dpo temp has shot up and spotting almost stopped (until a bowel movement last night ). Had BFN on Sat. After temp rose even more today tested again and there was a very faint vertical line (which I had to squnit in the light to see) but it was a CB and after Scary's experience am not very trusting of CBs. TBH gfiven that have been spotting on and off since Fri if there is a beany I don't think it will be a sticker...

ScaryHairy · 24/03/2008 10:02

How many DPO are you Mibbes?
Re the crappy clearblue, the line I had (and I've noticed another thread where the OP had the same) was very thin - like a pencil line - and is along the left edge of where the verticle line would be.

If your line is very feint, but is normal thickness, it appeared within a few minutes and is still there hours later, then I say that is a positive. Check again in a couple of days with a FR - it may have got darker by then. Hope it is a positive and a sticky one.

ScaryHairy · 24/03/2008 10:03

Oh, see you are 13 dpo. Look, spotting is not unheard of in early pregnancy, so I think you should do another test tomorrow.

ScaryHairy · 24/03/2008 10:04

Oh, I see you are 13 dpo. Look, as you know, spotting is not unheard of in early pregnancy. So I think you should do another test tomorrow. Lots of luck.

tinkerbell2 · 24/03/2008 11:08

morning ladies good luck mibbes

beaniesteve · 24/03/2008 11:23

MIBBLES I have no idea if I Ovulated this month as none of the tests came up with a positive for me.

My last period was on 25th Feb (first day) and lasted about 10 days.

Am now 5 days late (Cycle is extremely regular and 24 days long)

mibbes · 24/03/2008 14:18

beanie you said before you had a faint +ve opk, remind me which day that was ? Did you say cd17-18 ? If so then you may not have ov'd until CD19 which means you are only just at approx 10dpo which is the very earliest you can get BFP. Go get some cheapies for the next few days and keep us posted.
Scary my line was normal thickness and very faint... haven't told DP as don't want to raise hopes/worry him in case it turns out to be CP. No more spotting today so far... knicker-checking like mad Hope you are having a good weekend and eating lots of eggs

beaniesteve · 24/03/2008 15:40

Yeah - a faint line around day 18.

Just did a tesco test, BFN. I think I have to accept that I am not pregnant and something has effected my usually spot on cycle.

Now I have to just wait it out until my next period I guess

I'm not even going to bother testing unless I start feeling sick ...

mibbes · 24/03/2008 16:05

beanie, this ttc business is a nighmare, I honestly think that is TEW does not appear in the next 3-4 days you could be in with a good chance... hugs xx

ScaryHairy · 24/03/2008 19:23

Oh yeah, stuffing my face Mibbes. That does sound like a positive test to me, but you know if it could be or not - trust your instincts! I have had one false positive aside from my Clearblue episode and I knew it wasn't real (it vanished after about 10 mins). When I got the real thing, although I had a sense of disbelief I still knew it might be for real. And that one was incredibly feint too.Poor beanie - it's a bit of a nightmare, isn't it? Have you read about how you can spot your fertile time from cervical mucus and position - and to confirm it retrospectively by temping? It is possible to miss your LH surge using OPKs, so using another method might help you figure out what is going on.
