i have set up a table of cakes, biscuits, sweets and chocolate with the kettle on the boil for our teapot!! some comfy chairs and footstools get comfy and get chatting good luck is in the pot on the table do as you please with it (eat it, put it in your pockets, stir it in your tea) lets all do a concerted effort to get our BFPs

MOET I agree with JB, I've heard of some people having an ov bleed - maybe its that? If cervix is still open then keep up the bding!! (maybe try a little bding fairy style and see if that works?! )

JB it is perfectly normal and means nothing to have a little dip like that. As long as your temps stay high you are in with a shot.

Mibbes we're all rubbish at being patient, hence the success of this thread! Fingers crossed for good useful results for you.

Beanie you won't get a BFP (or reliable BFN) until at least 10 dpo, regardless of when your period is due. Good luck, I hope you get it.

MOET (one of my favourite drinks ), I think you have to be careful about looking at the lines on a CBD OPK stick. I often have 2 lines on there but no smiley face - apparently tis something to do with those sticks detecting 2 hormones and not just HCG, iirc. The woman at peeonastick does a better explanation than me. Notwithstanding, the blood could be ov as you can miss your LH surge, or it could just be one - off breakthrough bleeding. Sorry I am not more help!

Fairydust good for you not testing for a bit.

No decent news from here. I am either 12 or 14 dpo, loads of cramping for the 5th day in a row - I even tok paracetomol more than once today. I did a CB (not digital) this afternoon. Again the horizontal line was strong-ish an there was a hair width vertical line - like one row of the dots recated but not the rest. A sort of maybe-positive. I've tried to get a picture of it for you lot to opine on but it does not show in photos which does not give me much help. I did not use FMU though. Tomorrow I will see if my temp has come down and if not I will do a First Response in the morning. If I am not pregnant though I think I must be ill. It can't be normal to have such awful AF-like cramps for 5 days and mild nausea, so I will be off to the GP if it turns out to be a BFN.

You know that CBD ad where they say something about a huge roportion of women "can misread a pregnancy test". Maybe that's because they don't give a clear result. Should be called Obscure blue IMHO.

scary pmsl at 'obscure blue' im so excited about your possible BFP if there was something there it IS a BFP IMO so that is a possible 2 out of 3 hit rate with the most recent batch of predictions

I am soooo not holding my breath Ei. I had one of these last Thursday as well! I think CB might just be throwing up false positives...

now you know you cant get 'FALSE' positives scary dont you

Ahem, I know that is MN doctrine, but I have had one before - it vanished after 15 mins. That wonderful lady at Peeonastick (my hero, she pees on even more sticks than I do) says that she has had reports of false positives with CB lately. Arg!

I've got a FR for tomorrow. But it was a FR that gave me a disappearing positive in 2005. Hope they've improved.
My sister (3 kids) never got a positive CB - only Sainsbury's cheapies told her the truth!

i only got a +ve on predictor and after about 7 weeks CB did the trick for me lol dont get too disheartened some tests just simply dont work properly, i would also ring clearblue and request a freebie

i think fairydust rang clearblue and they sent her out a CBD and a CB ordinary one so its worth a try lol i think it was her anyway someone rang them recently...

PnM isn't it funny how relatives getting PG or having babies makes us feel 'funny'. I found out on holiday that SIL is PG again. That is #3 and the third 'surprise' baby . I'd have been less if it'd been intentional but was quite and because they just look at each other and she falls PG grrrr why can't she share the babydust out with us ?

well mibbes PnM is on my new list...there is another well known bear on my original list though...aswell as scary and TF that will be a full set if we get a BFP from my other lady i have got one other on my new list so heres hopin im right again...

Seriously guys, no excitement allowed.
Tomorrow is when AF is due if FF is wrong about ovulation date, so we'll see.
And I have just cracked and done a FR which is another BFN.
I hope the HPT companies are enjoying their surge in sales.

ooohh Ei I love your preditions ! Are these lists compiled from your famous dreams or from your imagination...? I have been lucky enough to feature more than once in your dreams but so far have only served to lower your hit rate (which is pretty blimin' impressive !!)
I so hope these lists are correct, although it will be a teeny bit sad to lose so many familiar faces. Mind you hopefully we'll be joining then soon anyway

Hi all, I've been having a look for a little while and thought I'd drop a line...I am really hoping for a BFP and (hides head i shame) have already done 2 tests which could never have worked but hey it kept me happy! My cycle changes from 1 month to the next so no idea when AF will/wont come but hopefully I'll know one way or the other before the end of the week. Getting excited now and imagining all sorts of symtoms , you know cramps that could be implanting, scary bowls, possible sensitivity in breasts. There must be an easier way!!!!!!!
