I’ve been tracking ovulation for a while mainly because I wanted to reassure myself I was ovulating normally in prep for TTC, we’re not officially TTC but DTD a number of times over ovulation without protection and thought would see how it goes… however I am turning out far from casual about it

@Amy95 @GCS34 @LeopardLover I keep thinking I might be starting to feel some period type cramps but if I am it's from a matter of seconds. I did say to my husband last night.. if I didn't Ov and this is my body trying to figure out what hormones and ovaries are for again.. it's actually been quite a welcome break from constant pelvic and back pain!! I normally have it almost constantly but for the last week or so I've not noticed it significantly at all.

Defo good prep! I wish I knew what the pill was doing / masking while being on it. I wish I had never been on it now. I would never go back on it again, and I really do think that Drs give it out far too freely (sorry, mini Tuesday rant!!)
I'm really pleased that you are ovulating - means every month there is a chance 🙂I think everyone starts on 'casually' trying, but I think it's in the back of your mind constantly, so may as well just go for it properly 😆

@dabs9 That's mad that you have constant aches in your pelvis / back. Do you know why? Is that from your periods or is it from your erratic cycles? you said you've been tested for PCOS right? I feel like my body is an absolute car crash - I don't understand why it thinks I'm 12 again and doesn't have a cycle! 😫

@GCS34 I have no idea why tbh. I figured in the lead up to ovulation and during it was because my ovaries were full of follicles and afterwards because my tube was doing it's thing to get the egg to my uterus 😂😂 my back I dunno. I just always thought I had a bad back but this week has made me realise it's probs cycle related.
Yeah, been told no PCOS. I'm not convinced.

Just been to the loo there and got bright heavier spotting again 😂 I think I need to dtd tonight and maybe encourage AF to pay her visit. Does anyone else find that helps? Lol. Sorry if gruesome thought.

Yes me too, I came off pill I think October before last mainly as I wanted to see how I’d be without it and was fed up of all the hormones. Cycles have been pretty consistent since, have logged in Flo app. I’ve only tracked ovulation using the sticks (is that what OPKs are?) about 4/5 months

I did a cervix check earlier and it feels a bit open? Hopefully not another early ovulation.

It’s gross @dabs9 but I do the same! As I get several days of spotting I just get fed up and want it to arrive and sex always makes it turn up - or the other failsafe where AF always arrives 2 mins after - doing a pregnancy test 😂

Have you done opks? @emmatcc1 I briefly checked my cervix last year, but realised I could never tell the difference or what is going on up there so stopped.

@Annapolis35 i notice a big change when it’s open or closed. I wanted to start opks in two days since I’m only cd7 but I guess I’ll do one tomorrow.

Fingers crossed af will come tonight 🤞 I normally get cramps just before and spot and it's the worst because I always think if I'm going to bleed just bleed and get it over and done with , I love how positive you are 🙌 least we go into next cycle together, I'm hoping to see some bfp on this thread 🤞also OH just booked for.me to have my nails and hair done just before holiday he's a good egg , I've been hinting is this because I'll be coming home with a new ring on my finger 😂 nearly 5 years and still no ring 😂 xx

@Orangenightie welcome! May was our first month of trying for number 2. I thought I was just being casual and letting fate decide- that lasted about 18 hours maybe!! 🙈

According to my app I'm due to ovulate on 15th. So we've romantically planned daily DTD from Tuesday to try and be ready for any early release. Just hope we've got the stamina to see it through if it ends up being later than the app says 🤣 Xx

Exciting about potential ring!! Do you think he might? Definitely enjoy your holiday either way though. My friend once convinced herself a proposal was coming on holiday and so spent the whole holiday waiting and it never came so she came back disappointed and the holiday had totally passed her by. Xx

Defos sounds like he might have something sneaky up his sleeve.. but agree with @Bubblesandtroubles I was convinced for ages my OH was going to propose and I remember one weekend he took me away to a fancy hotel and I felt adamant he was going to do it.. and he didn't. Well I cried for about 2 days hahaha. Put a bit of a downer on the lovely weekend he planned 🙈 x
